Hlubi has travelled around the world performing in various music and dance productions. He has also composed and arranged songs for local artists such as Asanda Bam and the late Labella Dani.
Kwebulana was born in Cape Town and began performing professionally in 1997 with an African band called Jika Marimba and Dance Ensemble.
Cape Town born Jazz Vocalist who studied Music (Jazz Singing) at the University of Cape Town, College of Music (UCT College of Music), graduated in 2010 with Post Graduate Diploma in Music (Jazz Singing: CUM LAUDE ). Lead Vocalist for the UCT Big Band (2005 – 2010), Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Band (2010 & 2011), Winner of the Jazz Idols Open Mic.
Having released his debut album ‘Baba’, he intends to conduct a series of promotional tours around the country.

Nathi on Piano Originates from Swaziland He first came to South Africa to Study music at Natal Tech where he enrolled at the jazz department.

Born in Eldorado Park, Johannesburg, Zarcia started her music journey by singing in the church choir when she was nine-years-old. At 13 she landed a role her first professional on “My Girl”, a production staged at the Gold Reef City. She later went on to sing for various gospel and jazz bands. She has recorded and performed with Feya Faku, Andile Yenana, Sidney Mnisi, Dave Koz, The Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, Joyous Celebration, Pastor Benjamin Dube, Patrick Duncan, James Okon, Mpumi Dlamini, amongst others. Zarcia’s charisma, and relaxed demeanour on stage are infectious and make her a well rounded performer.
Sphelelo Mazibuko is well known for drumming in a blazer, something rare for drummers. He draws his inspiration from international drummer, Kendrick Scott and local drummer Ayanda Sikade, and these are just two of his many inspirations.

Guitarist, Composer and Bandleader. Mokopane, Mahwelereng in the Northern Province of South Africa is where Billy Monama was born. From such humble surroundings he inherited a rich musical culture that combined traditional ethnic sounds with those from western jazz styles. Billy Monama also talks about his latest album Rebounce, which plays like his autobiography. It tells of various significant landmarks in his life. It is the very soundtrack that underscores the sentiments of places, people, experiences and influences that have shaped Monama’s Life and Music.
Ayanda has worked with the most accomplished jazz musicians in South Africa and abroad. Namely Feya Faku, Bheki Mseleku, Robbie Jansen, Barney Rachabane, Darius Brubeck just to name a few. Ayanda has worked with the late International acclaimed saxophonist Zim Ngqawana and has recorded two albums with him (Live in Basel Switzerland and Live in Heildiberg in Germany). Ayanda has also worked with Simphiwe Dana and recorded a DvD that is called Siphiwe Dana Live at the Lyric Theatre in 2010.
Lulu Prudence Mlangeni is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Mlangeni’s practice incorporates a strong element of texture to the art of movement and has seen her perform on stages across the world. Her recent dance piece, CONFINED, is inspired by the political stalwart, Winnie Madikizela Mandela
Brenda Mtambo is ready to release new music. She forged a solid career in soul music. After nine years of humble beginnings as a gospel singer, she has grown in stature and fame, and now has a new body of work, which scheduled she released this year, that is totally different from her previous efforts.
Born in Soweto, South Africa, Tlale Makhene is one of South Africa’s sought after drum beater who moved to Swaziland at a young age and began drumming at the age of four. Highly regarded by musicians and musical fans, he is also a teacher, session musician and performer. His ‘The Ascension Of The Enlightened’ album is a true spiritual offering from a truly enlightened man. His passion for music began when he was young, he was influenced by his sangoma grandmother who often danced and ‘roll the bones’ to drumbeats.
Fana Zulu is a left-handed bass guitarist. At the age of eighteen Fana Zulu started playing professionally with a band called The Editions, the band included the likes of the late Jabu khanyile. Fana Zulu has also worked with the likes of Hugh Masekela and Moses Molelekwa.
Soweto, in the south of Johannesburg, South Africa, is the birthplace of this accomplished musician, composer, producer & music educator. With his early musical exposure taking place in church, he then became involved with gospel bands in Soweto and later ventured into the broader music industry. Concord was soon convinced that he needed to acquire more knowledge and experience and this led to him pursuing and completing a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

David Njuki has been actively involved in the Nairobi music circles. Notable mentions include being part of organising International jazz day celebrations, rallying vinyl enthusiasts for a monthly dubbed "We Love Vinyl" and starting a collective that runs Nairobi Vinyl Record Collectors.
Mantwa Chinoamadi has been at the helm of the T-Musicman since its initial forays into the world of live music promotion and production in 1989 when she was offered the role of Artist Liaison. Her clients included the likes of Queen, Jonas Gwangwa, Rebecca Malope and Brenda Fassie. All of whom placed the marketing and promotional necessities of their careers in the hands of Mantwa and T.Musicman. Her first assignment in the role of Project Manager came in the form of the country's first democratic election processes in 1994 when T-Musicman was tasked with co-ordinating the Voter Education Rally campaign, for the education of the masses prior to the historical democratic elections in 1994. While she has submerged herself in various business courses to gain theoretical knowledge and leverage to succeed in her new position, Mantwa’s will to succeed in her role as Project Manager has taken her to the far corners of the globe to gain first-hand experience in delivering world class events, concerts and festivals.
Siphiwe Mhlambi captured moments of the exploration of jazz musicians’ performances and self-expressions while playing their instruments. Siphiwe started photographing the jazz icons, the likes of Hugh Masekela and Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, just to mention a few, 30 years ago.
Keorapetse is a singer, Songwriter, composer and a music tutor at Campus of Performing Arts Postgraduate Student at The University of Witwatersrand.
Tshepo has always had a keen interest in composition and arranging from a young age and it is with this newly formed ensemble that he could really try out any new compositions that he had and these were also played during the gigs that the ensemble would attend. In the ninth grade, the National School of the Arts orchestra played his first orchestral composition that also awarded him an opportunity to put together a twelve-piece orchestra to perform at the presidential inaugural awards. After his first encounter as a director of a young orchestra he did not want to turn back. In 2008 he went on tour with the Global Harmony international to Japan for a six weeks cultural exchange where one of his compositions was included in the album that was pre-recorded for the tour. Upon his return to South Africa he appeared as a soloist with the Johannesburg Philharmonic orchestra and the same year he was invited to perform with local artists Nhlanhla Nciza, Rebecca Malope and Rae.
Aymeric Peguillan started his journey in the Jazz industry in 2000 when he, together with 3 partners, opened his first Jazz Club ”Pegs Cosy Corner” in Troyeville, JHB. That Jazz Social Club ran for 2 years and was voted Best Late Night (Jazz) Kitchen in JHB for 2 years in a row. Ten years later, Aymeric Peguillan created The Orbit concept which he started with 2 partners in Braamfontein. The Orbit, which Peguillan ran for 3 years, has since become the most professional Jazz stage in Johannesburg, hosting more than 300 concerts per year, and often compared to the best Jazz Clubs in the world. The Orbit featured in 2016 in the Downbeat Magazine list of Best Jazz Clubs in the world. While at the Orbit, Peguillan facilitated the recording of some memorable sessions by leading artists (including Herbie Tsoaeli, Pablo Lapidusas, Kesivan Naidoo, Shane Cooper, Bokani Dyer and Feya Faku)
Lindiwe Maxolo is a powerful vocalist in the South African Jazz music industry. Born in Pietermaritzburg and raised in Boipatong. Armed with a Cum Laude in Jazz Honor's Degree from the University of Cape Town ,she's demonstrated her diversity by performing in India Portugal , Greece, New York, France, and New Orlearns. and her enhanting magical voice will still see her further mesmerize the world.
Sisonke Xonti started playing music at the age of ten but it was only when he turned thirteen that he fell in love with the saxophone and continued playing classical saxophone until he got his UNISA Grade 8 Distinction (2006

Phumlani Mtiti, originally from Port Elizabeth is a young up and coming saxophonist who lives in Durban. He started playing saxophone at a young age and is now studying at UKZN fine tuning his craft. Through his participation in various initiatives, Phumlani has been privileged to attend many master classes and also performed with many of our local jazz legends including Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman, Winston Mankunku Ngozi, Feya Faku, McCoy Mrubata and many others.Lwanda Gogwana South African born jazz trumpeter and composer. Lwanda Gogwana was born in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The trumpet player bases his composing style on his Xhosa cultural roots. Gogwana graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in Composition and Arrangement from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
Ndabo Zulu is a trumpet player from Durban, South Africa, who started playing trumpet at the age of 11 in the field band foundation, and also attended Siyakhula in Umlazi with Dr Brian Thusi. After finishing school, he studied for 2 years at UKZN in the music department until he got an opportunity to go for one year at an exchange program in Norway. He then took an audition at the University of Stavanger and was accepted to begin his bachelor in jazz trumpet studies.
