My name is John Soucheray. I teach social studies at Byron High School in Minnesota. I use this podcast as a way to introduce content to students so that we can dig deeper into primary sources, discussions, and group projects in class.

An elementary class is having teachers around the building read a chapter of the book so that students in her class can follow along. The book is called "Life According to Og the Frog" by Betty G. Birney.
The book is riveting, or should I say ribbiting.
This is a description of the True Team track and field meet, which occurs on May 5th at Maple River high school.
We are the United South Central-Alden Conger Rebels.
Everyone is an important part of the team.
Season starts on March 9th.
Correction: I said the way to score 59 points is to finish in 30th and 29th. I meant to say, if you finish in 1st and 2nd you will score 30 and 29 points for those finishes

In this episode I am joined by two former students, Joe Bushlack and George Bias. We are discussing some of the ways that Star Wars was influenced by real events in World War II. We focus mainly on the building of the Death Star.
