In this episode, Alden, Khushi and Harshada talk about menstruation, the stigma surrounding the process in society to talking about affordability of menstrual hygeine products.  It's A Problem. Period, is a student run organisation from Delhi Public School, Bangalore North with an aim to destigmatise menstruation, promote proper disposal of menstrual waste, adequate menstrual hygiene and sustainable menstrual products. They create presentations for awareness and propagate good practices with respect to menstruation and being comfortable with one's own body. They are currently working on Project Rutu, which aims to provide women of menstruating age from low income families with education about Menstrual health, hygiene, and sustainability- as well as sustainable menstrual products. They plan to actively involve ASHA workers (Accredited Social Health Activists) in this campaign to make women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds aware of MHM and sustainability.
