Relationships are a mixed bag. There is so much blessing and goodness we experience through relationships. In their healthiest form, our relationships are the avenues of grace that God provides us with that we might receive His love through other people. But relationships are also the place where we can experience our deepest wounding, rejection, hurt, and frustration. Whether it’s a friend, spouse, parent, sibling, roommate, boss or a co-worker, chances are, we’ve all experienced complications with them, and they’ve experienced complications with us. Scripture isn't silent on the topic of relationships. The theme of relationship is woven throughout the Bible and offers us help and hope. Join us for week 1 of this series as we look at our starting point, the ONE relationship that sets up the rest. The one relationship we all have, that for many people can seem complicated: our relationship with God.
Living a life that blesses others is nothing short of expressing the new heart God has given us. As people who have been blessed with every spiritual blessing, we get to be ourselves and live each day blessing those around us. One very practical way to bless is to...eat together. Jesus was known for it. "The Son of Man came eating and drinking." (Luke 7:34) Eating meals was one of the primary things Jesus did to demonstrate the heart of God for the lost and the least. What is it about eating a meal together that is so significant, that Jesus would spend so much time doing it? What would our neighborhoods look like if our homes became hubs for expressing the love of Jesus by sharing a meal?

The term "Simple Christmas" feels like an oxymoron. For many of us, this time of year seems far from simple. Christmas has a way of magnifying the mess and stress of life in this broken world. But it also brings with it a good news announcement: our Rescuer has arrived. In this message, Matt Carlson explores 2 things Jesus came to be for us…2 things we remember and celebrate when we reflect on God becoming man: 1. Jesus came to be our New Representative. 2. Jesus came to be our Life. Scripture: Romans 5:17-19 *Special thanks to the ministry of Bob George as well as Tullian T. for the help in shaping this message.
What do we need to believe about God and ourselves that will free us to be real with others? In part 2 of this mini-series, we explore how our understanding and trust of God’s once-for-all forgiveness and our new Christ-fused identity frees and fuels us to come out of hiding. As these truths sink in, we realize we don’t need or want to hide. Our heart then becomes accessible, whereby allowing us to give and receive love. ***Closing story taken from the Trueface Devotional: "Trust For Today" To learn more and take next steps, visit https://linktr.ee/seacoast
The objective is not to build communities appearing to have sin under control. The objective is to nurture a place where people can stop faking they have sin under control. Where they can come out of hiding and let others into their sin and failure. There, sin loses power, and we can be healed-trusting Christ’s redemption, forgiveness and repentance. It’s messy, but utterly healthy. Those who live in it become free. ...And as they learn to receive love...they sin less.
When you experience the love of God, you can't help but to express that love and life to others. As believers, indwelt by the Spirit of God, we live to express the life of Christ to the world around us. So what does it look like when this life is expressed? What does it look like to point people to Jesus? In this message from Acts 17, we examine the way in which the apostle Paul engaged people from all spiritual backgrounds and what it looks like to know God and make Him known.

This week we take a look at the other lives who experienced divine disruption on that first Christmas.
Of all the lives disrupted by the first Christmas, Joseph is one of them. In part 3 of our advent series we turn our attention to Joseph, the unsung hero of the Christmas story, whose character and obedience point us to the work of Christ in stunning ways.
Acts 2:42-47 provides a powerful description of four ways the Holy Spirit was expressed through the early church.
