Will the U.S. Supreme Court overturn the Colorado Supreme Court decision removing Donald Trump from the Republican Party Primary ballot? What do we make of those, including Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley, calling for Trump to remain on the ballot-is it constitutional fidelity or political theater? What impact, if any, has Donald Trump had on Christianity in America? Is Christianity in the U.S. better off now than in 2015?
Episode 229-The Changing Virtues in American Society: While most Americans no longer hold a biblical worldview regarding morals and values, neither do the majority of professing Christians. The National Crawford Roundtable looks at this and several stories reported over the last few days that allow us to address this phenomenon. The guys review the resignation of Harvard President Claudine Gay over plagiarism charges and the reasons her credentials went largely unchecked until now. They also look into the in-depth analysis of the fact that more Progressives are changing their tune on the National Debt, wondering if there might be such a thing as too much of it. And what about a new report that Gen Z young adults have given up on the so-called "American Dream" and are more apt to adopt an "enjoy life now' mentality rather than build for the future? Is hard work no longer an American virtue? If so, how do Christian Conservative Americans work to reverse this trend? How is this impacting the Church and the professing Christian community on the whole?
Episode 228-The Year 2023 In Review, and a Look Forward to 2024
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we review the year 2023 and take a look forward to 2024. What is the state of the Church, culture, society, and politics?
In part 1 of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast we discuss the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling that bans Donald Trump from the 2024 Presidential Ballot. In the 2nd part of the podcast the guys pull back the curtain on some of the Christmas traditions shared in their families.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss whether Christian parents should encourage their kids to attend college. Is it really worth it? With ungodly world views shaping issues taught in colleges, what is the risk that it teaches our kids to be intolerant, Left-Wing, Marxist, Communist, Global Warming obsessed, Evolution-believing, abortion-supporting, LGBT celebrating, gender-confused, Democrat voting former Christians? Is that really worth a (possibly) higher paycheck? And what about the expense of college? Does being riddled with debt outweigh the necessity of a degree? What is it about Academia today that makes it so evil?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss anti-Semitism, the hatred for Israel, and the Progressive Left's reluctance to condemn atrocities against Israeli women. Karine Jean-Pierre refused to condemn U.S. Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal for her CNN interview where she created a moral equivalency between Hamas violently gang-raping Jewish women, and Israel. Several weeks ago Representative Rashida Tlaib refused to condemn the beheading of Israeli babies. The U.N. took 8 weeks to finally acknowledge and condemn the raping of Israeli women, but only after conservative media pressure. The rape reports are so horrendous that they involve women's pelvis' being broken, their female body parts being cut off, and more. Progressive women's groups have also been mostly silent. With the exception of a handful of isolated Democrats, the Democratic Party as a whole has refused to condemn their fellow Democrats for downplaying this evil against Israeli women, nor has Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi, etc. Why are college-age adults supporting Hamas over Israel? What is driving this hatred for Israel and the darkness that allows Progressive Americans not to be shocked or outraged by these kinds of atrocities?
Recently, Randi Weingarten, the radical, Leftist, open lesbian President of the National Federation of Teachers-the largest U.S. teacher's union--made herself a candidate for the 2023 "Clueless Award" by asking, "What's behind the increase in homeschooling?" This after pushing COVID shutdowns, transgenderism, drag queens in schools, men in girl's bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers, eroding parental rights, CRT, DEI, and overall Marxist, godless ideology. So, what's happening in our public schools, and should Christian parents allow their children to attend them?
In Part 1 of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast we discuss the Israel-Hamas temporary cease-fire deal. Is it a good deal? It's a 4-day cease-fire where 3 Israeli-held prisoners are released for every one Hamas-held hostage. Was this deal actually brokered by the Biden Administration? Could it have been done to appease the younger voter base who seemingly oppose Israel? In Part 2 we'll talk about the Thanksgiving Holiday and what we, as Christians, are and should be grateful for.
Why has political polarization and divide in America increased? There was a time when Republicans and Democrats could agree to disagree and remain friends, but those days seem to be gone. The Left says the GOP has "moved radically to the Right." The Right says the Democrats have "moved radically to the Left." Is this actually true? In a recent poll asking if the opposing Party is a "threat to American life?" 52% of Biden supporters said yes, while 47% of Trump supporters said yes. In another poll that asked, "if violence is justified to stop the other Party from achieving their goals?" 41% of Biden supporters said yes, and 38% of Trump supporters said yes. We will analyze these results in this podcast.
Episode 221-2023 United States Elections- Why did the GOP fare so poorly? Is this a barometer for the 2024 election? What does it mean for next year? Are social issues proving to be a "loser" for Republicans, or not? What happened to Ohio's Abortion Proposal?
Please enjoy a replay of a previous National Crawford Roundtable podcast, Episode 212-Conspiracy Theories.
How do we know what's true, what's not, and what constitutes a "conspiracy theory"? Christians are often accused of being gullible and falling for conspiracy theories, is this true? A few of the common conspiracy theories that Christians and non-Christians alike have fallen for include: Maui laser beams, Biden is dead and we're seeing a body double, the Moon landing was faked, the Earth is flat, the Illuminati/Bilderberg Society/Matrix, etc. is secretly controlling the world, Bigfoot, Elvis/Hitler/JFK deaths are faked. Some other information considered to be conspiracy theories but which may be true include: COVID was manufactured and released by China, COVID vaccines may not be safe, Jeffrey Epstein was murdered, Trump had the 2020 election stolen through fraud, Christians/Conservatives/Pro-Lifers are being targeted by government liberals, and there is a "Deep State" of corruption within the U.S. Intelligence Agencies.
In this episode of the Crawford Roundtable Podcast the guys have a lively discussion on two fronts: Part 1 they debate the Georgia case regarding Donald Trump and overturning the 2020 election and in Part 2 they'll discuss the Speaker of the House race.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the Israel/Hamas War. Should Israel launch a full-scale ground war in Gaza? Should they take back Gaza? Will the PR tide turn against Israel when images of dead Palestinian children start to emerge? Should Israel loosen their anti-gun laws? What should the U.S. be doing right now? How serious is Biden's open border regarding Hamas and other terrorists infesting the U.S.? Is the stage being set right here in the U.S. for another 9-11? Should the U.S. accept Palestinian refugees?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the discussion is centered on the latest information available regarding the Israeli terror attack by Hamas, including various pro-Palestinian rallies worldwide. The guys talk about the reported atrocities of Hamas, torturing and raping women and children, beheading Israeli soldiers, beheading babies, and threatening to start to video executing Israeli hostages. We also look at Joe Biden's policies of Iran appeasement, $6 Billion in ransom money, the Afghan withdrawal debacle, weakness on the world stage, and Democrat "Squad" members plus Secretary of State Blinken calling for a "ceasefire". How should Israel respond? With what level of force? How important is it that we support Israel, both Geo-politically and Spiritually? What now?
Was Matt Gaetz's call for the ousting of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House the right thing to do? Is Gaetz a good guy or a villain? What happens going forward? Is there a plan? Will this affect the GOP's chances of holding onto the House?
Episode 215- Is It Time For a Revolution? Are we getting close to the point where America's Founders were when they forcefully rebelled against the authority of Great Britain? If not, what has to happen still that would justify seditious rebellion? How do we know when that line is crossed? Is there ever a time to have this discussion? As Christians and Americans, how much more would have to happen for that time to come?
In Part 1 of this podcast the discussion centers around the $6-Billion Iran payment for 5 U.S. hostages. In the second half of the podcast the guys talk about the state of terrorism in the world after the 22nd anniversary of 9-11. After Biden's disastrous Afghan withdrawal, how dangerous is the rebuilding possibility of the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and ISIS? What's happening with Biden's open borders and the number of terrorists likely coming into the U.S.? Little is heard lately about terrorist operations; are we clueless as to what Islamic Jihadists may be planning right now, or is that just paranoia?
Episode 213-Part 1: ADF Victories, Part 2: Biden Impeachment Inquiry
In the first half of the NCR podcast we are joined by Senior Counsel for Regulatory Litigation at ADF Julie Blake to review some of the recent victories at Alliance Defending Freedom including the FDA lawsuit regarding chemical abortion drugs, as well as what we could be looking at coming up for ADF cases. In the second half of the podcast the guys discuss the Biden impeachment inquiry.
Episode 212-Conspiracy Theories
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss conspiracy theories. How do we know what's true, what's not, and what constitutes a "conspiracy theory"? Christians are often accused of being gullible and falling for conspiracy theories, is this true? A few of the common conspiracy theories that Christians and non-Christians alike have fallen for include: Maui laser beams, Biden is dead and we're seeing a body-double, the Moon landing was faked, the Earth is flat, the Illuminati/Bilderberg Society/Matrix, etc. secretly control the World, Bigfoot, Elvis/Hitler/JFK deaths are faked. Some other information considered to be conspiracy theories but which may be true include: COVID was manufactured and released by China, COVID vaccines may not be safe, Jeffrey Epstein was murdered, Trump had the 2020 election stolen through fraud, Christians/Conservatives/Pro-Lifers are being targeted by government liberals, and there is a "Deep State" of corruption within U.S. Intelligence Agencies.
In this episode of NCR we discuss various topics related to Labor Day. Whatever happened to work ethic? Is it gone? What effect did COVID lockdowns and free government money have on work ethic? Why are so many businesses struggling to find good help? Why are so many content to sit at home and live off the government? Is this a U.S. problem or a worldwide problem? Or is this a false perception, and the American work ethic is still strong? Are Unions good or necessary today? Or do they feed laziness and lack of productivity?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast we discuss the First GOP Primary Debate of 2023 and the Strategic Focus of the GOP. How wise is it for Donald Trump to be absent from the GOP debate? What should be the focus of the GOP for 2024? Should they focus on social issues like abortion, transgenderism, religious liberties, parental rights, culture wars, etc.? Or, should they leave those topics alone and focus on more secular issues like the economy, energy independence, border security, crime, trade, foreign policy, etc.?
Episode 209-Part 1: The Maui Wildfires, Part 2: The Latest Trump Indictment
In Part 1 of this week's podcast we discuss the Maui Wildfires and some of the conspiracy theories surrounding them. In Part 2 the guys talk about the latest Trump indictment in Georgia with separate charges of disputing the 2020 election and having that interpreted as a RICO violation, on par with Mafia organized crime.
Episode 208-Part 2 of a 2-Part Series: GOP Presidential Candidates For 2024. In this episode we will discuss the other non-Trump GOP presidential candidates for 2024: Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Mike Pence, Senator Tim Scott, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Larry Elder, and others.
The Trump Indictments and Trump Cult Mentality. Are the indictments against former President Donald Trump "trumped up"? Has Free Speech been indicted? Is this just a ploy to convict Trump of something/anything to keep him from running for President of the United States? Do some Trump supporters act in a cult-like fashion when it comes to their support of him?
Episode 206-Part 1 of a 2-Part Series: GOP Presidential Candidates for 2024. In this podcast we will discuss Part 1 of a 2-Part series on the GOP presidential candidates for 2024. With all of the various aspects of Trump, he will take up the first of the two podcasts, then next week will be all the other GOP candidates. In this episode we'll discuss Trump's indictments for: NYC Stormy Daniels payoff bookkeeping records, the classified documents trial (May 2024), and the expected January 6th indictment. What effect will this have on Christian voters and Swing voters? Should Christians dump Trump? Can he beat Biden?
In Part 1 of the podcast we discuss the 303 Creative Victory, with special guest Jake Warner, senior counsel from Alliance Defending Freedom, who was in on the 303 Creative pleadings and was in the U.S. Supreme Court during the oral arguments--what it means, and whether this sets a large enough precedent to protect all other kinds of Christian businesses as well. In Part 2 the guys talk in depth about The Sound of Freedom Movie, whose success is exploding with now over $85 million taken in since its recent release on July 4th. It was the #2 movie in America this last weekend, beaten only by the latest Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movie, and will most likely cross $100 million this weekend. Why is this movie doing so well? Why is the mainstream media hating on it so much? What does it say about today's media and Progressive Left that they hate on a movie that exposes child sex trafficking? What about claims that it's just a "Right-Wing, Q-Anon conspiracy" movie? Is this a spiritual battle?
The guys talk about the cold-hearted way in which Joe Biden refuses to acknowledge his 4-year-old granddaughter Navy Joan. She is his 7th grandchild, the love-child of Hunter Biden and a stripper, therefore considered a PR embarrassment. Why is the media just now discussing this? Is it the realization that Biden can't survive all of his bribery scandals, and so it may be better to get him to end his 2024 run publicly, while there is still time for several Democrats to enter the Primaries? And who will it be for the Democrats?
Episode 203-Proposed California Assembly Bill 957 and the Michigan "Hate Speech" Bill. The proposed California Bill 957 will force Courts to rule in child custody cases according to which parent "affirms" the gender identity of their child. A parent could lose custody of their child if they refuse to go along with the gender confusion of their child. While this case is currently about divorce child custody decisions, it sets the stage for Courts to remove children from intact homes for "child abuse" of not "affirming gender transitioning." And Michigan's House just passed a Bill that revises their "Hate Crimes" Law to include "gender identity", but also can put someone in prison for speech that someone says merely made them "feel" intimidated or threatened. How should Christians respond? Do we blatantly violate these laws?
This week we discuss the state of America and patriotism. How should Christians respond to the apparent dual systems of justice (Trump vs. Joe Biden/Hunter/Hillary, etc.)? What is happening with the transgender insanity, and Christian & Pro-Life persecution/censorship? Is America still patriotic? And, as "God & Country" Christians, how do we balance our love of Country with our primary love of God?
Episode 201 - Part 1: The Titanic Sub, Part 2: Hunter Biden's Plea Deal
In Part 1 of the podcast the guys review the status of the missing Titantic submersible, Titan, as of the morning of June 21, 2023. Is a rescue possible? In part 2 the Roundtable focuses on Hunter Biden's slap on the wrist Plea Deal.
Episode 200-Trump's Arraignment and 37 Count Indictment by the Biden DOJ. The charges: taking classified documents, admitting he didn't declassify all of them, discussing some of them, being careless and sloppy with the storage of them in various Mar-a-Lago rooms, trying to hide some of the boxes from the FBI then suggesting to his lawyer they could just lie to the FBI about what they had. How serious are these charges? Should Trump drop out of the presidential race?
In part 1 of this week's episode, we talk about the criticism surrounding Chick-Fil-A going "Woke." Is Chick-Fil-A heading down the same road as the Boy Scouts on did-standing firm, but slowly caving to liberal pressure? From their 2019 announcement that they would no longer donate to any "anti-LGBTQ" groups to their DEI-Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" page on their website which includes "gender identity and gender expression" declaring that DEI is "embedded in everything we do." While Chick-Fil-A has not gone Bud-light, Target, or full-blown rainbow flags, they appear to be sliding ever so slightly in that direction. And now a growing number of Christians are turning on them. Are Christians right to be frustrated with them or are they being hyper-critical?
In part 2, the guys discuss the "controversy" surrounding Republican governors bussing and flying illegal immigrants to Democrat-run cities. California Governor Gavin Newsom is apparently considering "kidnapping charges" against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for flying illegal aliens to California. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre this week said that doing this is "dangerous", "putting stress on these cities" and " putting people's lives at risk." Is this dangerous? Is this the wrong thing to do?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the Debt Deal in part 1 and then we'll look into Dodgers' Pride Night in part 2. In Part 1: the Debt Ceiling Deal "cuts" some spending, but not enough. Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries says Democrats got "nothing." Liberals are raging, but so are some conservatives because it still increases spending. Democrats got to keep their Student Loan forgiveness, their SNAP Program "no-work requirements" for able-bodied people 49 and older but now it is 54 and older, and they got a military increase of 3.2%. Newt Gingrich says it's better than people think because it limits topline spending to 1% annual growth, well below inflation and well below Democrat demands. It takes back tens of billions in unspent COVID funds. In raw dollars, it is the largest reduction in spending growth in U.S. history. It scales back some Green New Deal spending, approves a West Virginia Natural Gas pipeline cuts out most of the new IRS funding for those 87,000 new Agents, and it rejects Biden's proposed tax increases. In Part 2: The L.A. Dodgers "Pride Night" is June 16th. They have apologized to and re-invited the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" (hairy men dressing as sexualized Catholic Nun Drag queens) after having disinvited the order's LA chapter from its annual Pride Night celebration and rescinded a planned "community hero" award. Would the MLB allow any club to have a "Mohammed Drag Queen Night" with drag queens dressed in sexualize Hijabs and Burkas? A Buddha Drag Queen Night?
In the first half of this week's National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss Target's Pride Collection and display. We also look at Governor Ron DeSantis' Presidential Bid which is expected to be announced later today, Wednesday, May 24, 2023. In Part 2 the guys talk about the Debt Ceiling debate. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says the U.S. will run out of money on June 1st if the debt ceiling isn't raised so we can borrow more money. This is called a "Default" and has never occurred in U.S. history. What would this mean? Democrats want the debt ceiling raised with no conditions, Republicans say they will agree to raise the debt ceiling as long as spending is reduced in some areas and kept at 2022 levels for most other spending. So, what should happen?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the new "woke" Miller Lite ad and the Durham Inquiry report.
In the first half of this National Crawford Roundtable discussion we briefly talk about the verdict in the Trump-Carroll civil lawsuit. The second part of this podcast deals with the A.I. conundrum--where is Artificial Intelligence heading? Just how advanced is A.I. becoming? What areas of life is this affecting? Is A.I. more bad than good? How could A.I. alter our future? Is A.I. going too far? What could be the implications for Christians? Should Christians be concerned about A.I.? Are there Anit-Christ implications? Could it redefine humanity?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast, we discuss Joe Biden running again and the 2024 Presidential race with Trump doing a CNN Town Hall on May 10th. What is the Democratic Party strategy here with Joe Biden? Do they really believe there are 6 more years to get out of him? Do they make the "Kamala switch" before the election? After? Ever? What Democrat could possibly step in to successfully Primary him? On the GOP side, can DeSantis or anyone out-Primary Trump? Will anti-Trump Evangelicals push past their distaste to embrace Trump?
In this week's episode of the National Crawford Roundtable, after a brief discussion about Biden's bid for re-election and the latest on the abortion pill issue, we look into Fox News' firing of Tucker Carlson. Why was Carlson fired? Was it part of an off-the-record Dominion settlement deal? Is he just too high maintenance and uncontrollable with management? Is Fox News going more and more establishment? Are they looking for more of a Mitch McConnell brand? How should conservative Christians view Fox News now? They've been getting more Woke with "gender pronouns" and anti-Trumpism--is this the last straw? Or is that unfair?
In this episode, Erica Steinmiller-Perdomo, legal counsel for the Center for Life at Alliance Defending Freedom, joins the National Crawford Roundtable to discuss the legal battle over the abortion pill. We also pay homage to longtime Pastor Charles F. Stanley, of In Touch Ministries, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable, as President Biden signs a bill that will end the state of emergency of the virus, we discuss the lasting legacy of Covid. Was it a scam? Was it a demonic attack? Did it ruin the credibility of the CDC and NIH? What about the debates around vaccines and masks? The state of emergency for the virus was due to end within a month, so what was the advantage of Biden ending it early?
In this episode the National Crawford Roundtable will discuss the indictment and arraignment of former President Donald Trump. The guys also comment on the recent Bud Light commercial partnership with controversial trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the Nashville shooting at Covenant Christian Elementary School that left 3 children and 3 adults dead. How do we make spiritual sense of things like this? Why is the media trying to downplay that the shooter, Audrey Hale, is a transgender female identifying as a male? Are President Joe Biden and the Democrats going to call for more gun restriction laws and an "assault weapons ban?" Why do Democrats politicize shootings like this? Should teachers and staff be allowed to conceal carry? How DO we make schools safer?
This week the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast will discuss and analyze all the various aspects and implications of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's reportedly planned indictment of Donald Trump.

In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the Tucker Carlson Videos of January 6th and the subsequent fallout.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we review the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment and toxic poisoning response and aftermath. How serious is this and what might the long-term effects be? Why did Pete Buttigieg take 10 days to comment and 20 days to show up? FEMA denied emergency assistance for 2 weeks, claiming it wasn't their job, but FEMA does provide water, food, supplies, and hotels to illegal immigrants bussed from Florida/Texas to Democrat cities upon their arrival. East Palestine residents are reporting various health issues, while the EPA and Biden Administration are assuring them everything is safe. Who are the biggest villains here: Norfolk Southern Railway? FEMA? Buttigieg? Biden? What if this had been a Republican Administration responding this way, and the community affected had been an inner-city minority community? How could the Biden Administration and liberal media falsely claim this was Trump's fault for deregulating a certain type of electronic braking system? The brakes in question were not even allowed to be used on the train in question. The Obama Administration's GAO Report from 2015 showed this type of electronic braking system was too expensive and not cost-effective. Since Trump deregulated it in 2018, Biden or Buttigieg have had 2 years to reinstate these brakes and have chosen not to. And, again, even if they would have, the Ohio train could not have even had this type of brake.
In this week's episode of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast we look at the Kentucky Asbury College "Revival" .Why are some Christians expressing skepticism and caution over the event? Was it more focused on "experience" and not a "true" revival based on the Gospel, Doctrine or Jesus? Is this all just hyper-criticism? And we talk about the "HeGetsUs.com" Jesus Campaign. They ran 2 Superbowl commercials. Their ad campaign and their website both lack any mention of Jesus as Savior, Lord, His Deity, our need for salvation, paying for our sins, etc., reducing Jesus to just a man who showed the kind of love to other humans that WE need to show. Their website even says that their goal is not conversion. Are these legitimate concerns or are we being hyper-critical?
This week the National Crawford Roundtable discusses the tragic school shooting at Michigan State University on February 13th that left 3 students and the gunman dead and 5 other students in critical condition. The shooter's father is a Christian who says he was trying to get his son to go to church with him. The gunman, Andrew McRae, 43 years old, could not get over his Mom's sudden death in 2020 and withdrew from the world quitting his job and staying in his room playing video games at his father's home. He appears to have just snapped. Democrats are predictably calling for more gun restriction laws and blame the GOP and NRA for these types of shootings. Michigan State University is a "Gun-Free Zone". Is it time to end "Gun-Free Zones"? Then the guys will talk about the latest news on the various balloons and objects being shot down over the United States and Canada. Why does there seem to be so many of these shoot-downs lately? Could it be that China is just now further testing Biden or has activity like this been going on for a while, but was just ignored? What about the NORAD Commander telling reporters he is "not ruling out" extra-terrestrial explanations? Are there such things as UFOs and alien life?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we take a look at the Real State of the Union and the Chinese Spy Balloon. The guys will fact check the SOTU address as well as look into what really is the State of the Union. And how serious is the Chinese Spy Balloon? Is it possible that it is merely a civilian meteorological research balloon as claimed by China? What about Biden allowing it to cross the whole country, coast to coast, while it stopped to hover in Montana over the Nuclear silo location? How serious is Chinese spying and espionage?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we look at policing in America and the Memphis police beating death of Tyre Nichols. Why did the Memphis cops do this? What could they have possibly been thinking? Is the criteria and psychological stability requirements to be a cop being lowered due to the anti-police attitudes of the Left? How can the Left still claim "racism" when all 5 cops were also Black? Do we need "police reform"? Given that these cops violated existing policing policy, reform what, exactly? What current training or policy procedures need to be changed? What about ending "Qualified Immunity"? Should we make all police subject to personal civil lawsuits when someone claims "excessive force"? How should pro-law enforcement supporters respond to this?
In Part 1 of this week's National Crawford Roundtable Podcast we look at the current Classified Documents Scandals, including the news about Mike Pence having been found to possess some now. Then in Part 2 of the podcast the guys discuss The Truth About Abortion Pills and the FDA permitting drug store chains to carry the abortion pills Mifepristone (RU-486) and Misoprostol. How do these pills really work? What do they do to the unborn baby? They are for use up to 11 weeks; what does an unborn baby look like at 11 weeks? How safe are these pills? And what are the risks for women getting abortions--future premature births? Breast Cancer?

And they review Special Counsel Robert Hur--good because he was Trump appointed and clerked for William Rehnquist; bad because he was part of the Mueller/Russia Collusion Hoax Team. In part 2 of the podcast they discuss the 50th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade. What do they think about it being overturned? What about the arguments against abortion because of rape, incest, life and 'health' of the mother? What are their thoughts about the 210 House Democrats voting against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act last week?
In part one of this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss Joe Biden's Classified documents revelation. How serious is this story? How similar or different is it from Trump's Classified documents history? Hillary's? How should House Republicans handle this? Part two of the podcast will be a discussion of what it means to have Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. With McCarthy caving and agreeing to the Freedom Caucus demands, does that mean we are better off than we would have been without these demands being met? Should Bob and John re-think their anti-20 opposition and accept that maybe Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz and Company were right after all? Is it possible that Bob or John could be wrong!?! Will McCarthy be a good speaker? Will he be able to rally the Establishment RINOs on some Legislation or has a monster now been created where they become purists who perpetually fight and block anything to the left of Jim Jordan?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we first discuss Damar Hamlin's heart attack and the unprecedented prayer circle on the field, and the public's overwhelming response to it. Then the guys take a deep look into what is happening with the 118th Congress, Kevin McCarthy and the future of the Republican party. Are they the "Party of Trump" Do they need to distance from him? Will they slide back into their old "establishment" mode? Will the GOP become more pro-life/pro-Christian or move away from that? How should they Brand themselves going forward? Should they investigate Hunter Biden, the DOJ, the FBI, and Social Media/FB election interference or just let it all go?

In the second half we'll look at alleged FTX Crypto-scammer Sam Bankman-Fried getting arrested in the Bahamas and charged by the SEC, and we talk about Brittney Griner being traded for Viktor Bout in a 1 for 1 swap while another prisoner, Paul Whelan, is left out.

In the second half of the podcast we talk about what to do with Donald Trump. Is his 2024 Presidential run good or bad? How should we view Trump today? How much of our respect and appreciation does he deserve? What about the dinner with Kanye West and the reported racist Nick Fuentes?

In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss the current election aftermath. Why is vote counting so slow? We also look at the FTX bankruptcy and their Democrat mega-donor CEO along with the future of Crypto.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we continue our discussion on the Mid-term elections and the results that have come in so far.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys continue their discussion of the 2022 Mid-term elections. What is it looking like in each of their respective states--California, Colorado, Michigan and New York? Will Republicans take control? How important is this election compared to others? How political should pastors be this Sunday?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we continue the discussion about the importance of the midterm elections coming up, and discuss how Christians should handle Halloween. What, if any, is the danger in 3rd party voting? What about Christians who don't vote? What is at stake in this election? Should Christians "celebrate" Halloween? Is it okay for their kids to Trick or Treat? And what about the gory home decorations that are becoming commonplace now--are they okay and how does that affect children and sensitive adults?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we continue our discussion on the importance of the upcoming 2022 mid-term elections. How seriously should we treat Christians who vote Democrat? Should Pastors talk about the election from the pulpit, and if so, how detailed should they get? What issues should the GOP focus on or ignore: Abortion? Gender confusion training in schools? CRT and racism propaganda in schools? Parental Rights? The economy? Inflation? Energy? Crime? Open borders? Foreign Policy?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable our look into the mid-term elections continues, including a look at key races or proposals in the guys' home states, plus thoughts about Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party and a look at how far gone the Democratic Party as become.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys take a look at the mid-term elections. How critical are they? What is at stake? What is driving voters to the polls? What should the Republicans do if they take over the House or the Senate? Is bi-partisanship good or bad? Is the media unfairly scrutinizing Republican candidates? Are they ignoring or failing to report on controversial issues with Liberal candidates? Do conservative Republicans need to run better candidates and if so, how do we get them?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we review California's Assembly Bill 2098, which makes it illegal to spread "misinformation" about Covid 19, and to where this could possibly lead not just California, but the Nation as a whole. We will get into the details of what it is and what it does. How will this affect the relationship between a patient and their doctor? What about the "off label" use of drugs--could this change how medications are alternatively used? Could the U.S. be headed into an unprecedented age of censorship? What other kinds of perceived "misinformation" could be included in similar bills? Can this bill affect this podcast, or other similar broadcasts? What about parent's rights--could it mean the loss of parental control if parents disagree with what is currently being normalized?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys follow up on last week's discussion about illegal immigration with the Martha's Vineyard controversy, created when Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott transported migrants from the southern border to Democrat run sanctuary states Chicago and New York--and in particular to upper crusty Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. President Joe Biden has been relocating hundreds of thousands of migrants over the last year and a half--why are liberals not considering that a "humanitarian crisis"?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss multiple issues about illegal immigration. Was Texas Governor Greg Abbott right to bus illegal immigrants to Democrat-run "Sanctuary Cities"? Are these Sanctuary City Mayors like those in Washington D.C., NYC and Chicago being hypocrites for complaining? What about the humanitarian crisis consequences of open-border policies: more dead migrants who die making the trip; the selling of children into the sex and slave trade, more rapes of migrant women from Coyotes and smugglers; drug cartels, Coyotes, and Human Traffrickers getting rich; Fentanyl and other opioids flooding the U.S. and feuling U.S. drug dealers and increasing overdose deaths; more criminals, gangs, drug and gun runners coming into the U.S., and Islamic terrorists more easily able to enter the U.S? Isn't it gime we more strongly give Trump his due regarding his successfully negotiated "Remain in Mexico" Policy, the wall building efforts, tightened border security measures, etc.?
We know that colleges are overwhelmingly anti-Christian and politically liberal. We also know that kids raised in Christian homes walk away from the faith at alarmngly high numbers. Should Christians send their kids to college? With the threat of mountains of college debt and a degree that may not make them more money in the workplace, is it really worth it? Is a college degree really necessary? Is college worth it financially? Is it worth it spiritually? Should Christians actively discourage college for their kids?
What should Christians, especially pro-lifers, do when they become victims of the "Cancel Culture"? How should we respond to individuals and businesses when we are thought of as "controversial" or "unsavory"? Should Christians boycott businesses that mistreat them in this way, or should we just "let it go"? Do we make a media stink? Is anger an appropriate response? Jesus warned us to expect persecution, so what is the correct Christian response?
In the first half of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys look into Student Loan Cancellation. Is it an attempt to "buy" votes"? The second half of the podcast is a lively discussion regarding the timing of Dr. Fauci's upcoming retirement and the legacy he leaves behind. Is the timing of his announcement suspect? Should there be Congressional Hearings on Fauci? Did Fauci really "follow the science" or did he follow Leftist politics? What about Fauci's flip-flops on wearing masks, mandating vaccines, shutting down the country, and the danger of COVID to children, among other topics, including his refusal to call for gay bars and LGBTQ+ parades and other functions to be shut down due to Monkeypox?
In this week's podcast the National Crawford Roundtable does a follow-up discussion on last week's episode about the FBI Mar-a-Lago raid, but go deeper into the potential for a civil uprising from angry conservatives and what appears to clearly be an unequal system of justice in America. The DOJ just asked a Court to keep it's reasoning for the raid from being released. There were no raids for Hillary Clinton, Hunter/Joe Biden, nor Sandy Berger, the Clinton National Security Advisor who stole Classified Documents from the National Archives by literally stuffing them in his underwear. Last month, a Planned Parenthood clinic in Michigan was attacked by a man, who set the building on fire after it was closed for the day and no one was inside, and the DOJ found him in 4 days and arrested him, while over 100 churches and pro-life pregnancy centers have been attacked, vandalized and fire bombed in just the last 3 months yet no arrests have been made in those cases, even though Jane's Revenge, a known domestic terrorist group, has openly claimed credit for many of the attacks. January 6th protesters are getting several years in prison, many denied bail, many held in solitary confinement after 1 1/2 years yet the DOJ has not gone after BLM or ANTIFA. Why the disparity? Are we hitting a boiling point where American conservatives may start to engage in civil unrest over what appears to clearly be unequal justice under the law?
This episode the National Crawford Roundtable discusses the FBI raid of Trump's Mar-a-Lago home, and the frustration many conservative Christians are feeling that America is turning into a country they no longer recognize. Why is there an inconsistent treatment of the January 6th protesters versus the BLM/Antifa rioters? Why is Jane's Revenge, a domestic terrorist group which attacks pro-life centers, facing less scrutiny than conservative parents at school board meetings, with investigations by the FBI labeling the parents "domestic terrorists"? How and why did Hillary Clinton, Hunter Biden and Nancy & Paul Pelosi escape the scrutiny of the FBI for possible insider trading scandals?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast the guys discuss Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan and they talk about the Monkeypox "epidemic". Is the timing of Pelosi's visit to Taiwan suspect? Why visit now, so near to the Primary vote? Does it take away the attention being given to her husband's DUI? Is it just a smoke and mirror attempt to divert attention, or an attempt to bolster support for the Democrats?
The WHO has declared the outbreak of Monkeypox to be a "Global Emergency." Is it really? President Joe Biden is poised to declare a U.S. emergency (New York, California, and Illinois already have); is this an over-reaction? The WHO's numbers show that 99% of non-Africa cases are men, 98% of which are homosexual--why aren't gay bars and gay events being shut down? Is the Monkeypox scare being overblown? What is the WHO's motive for this hype and fear? Is it to help Democrats this November 8th?
This week the National Crawford Roundtable talks about electric vehicles and the impact they have (or don't) on the environment. Do EVs really help the environment? The White House's response to high fuel prices is to just go buy an EV--what is the true cost of ownership? How do we handle the fact that EVs pay virtually no tax, although some states charge a higher registration fee? What are the pros and cons and what is the proper Christian response to EV ownership?
This week on the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys discuss God, Space and Extraterrestrials. With the incredible images released from the James Webb Telescope showing distant galaxies, the guys discuss UFOs, hoaxes, Space Aliens and other demonic trickery. What are the logical and scientific problems with life existing on other planets? What are the Biblical problems with life on other planets? Is it possible that life exists elsewhere in another galaxy, or this one? If extraterrestrial alien life forms were actually found how would that affect our faith?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss crime in America and women in combat. The guys first discuss the case of a 61-year-old New York bodega worker who defended himself against being attacked by a career criminal (out on parole for assaulting a police officer). The worker, an immigrant with zero criminal record, is being charged with 2nd Degree murder by the George Soror funded liberal DA. It appears we are in an upside down craziness where crime is being rewarded and self defense criminalized by pro-criminal Democrat District Attorneys. Open shoplifting, looting, BLM riot charges dropped, illegal protesting outside of SCOTUS homes, Pro-Life Centers and churches firebombed, open extortion threats from pro-abortion groups like "Jane's Revenge", illegal immigration--all with no charges brought. And yet, January 6th protesters are still in jail, denied bail. The second half of today's podcast reviews Senate Democrats recently passing a provision requiring women to register for the Draft (it had been blocked last year by Republicans) opening the door for them to be sent into combat should the draft be instituted . Should women have to register for the draft the same way men do? Why or why not should women serve in combat roles? It is wise for our combat military to go co-ed?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys talk about the latest rulings from the SCOTUS regarding the EPA and the Stay In Mexico policy and we'll celebrate and take a deep dive into America's Christian Heritage. Is America a Christian nation? What was the faith of the founding fathers? Why do Liberals appears to trash and show hatred towards America? Many young American adults say they are not proud to be an American, why is this?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we delve into the significance of Roe vs. Wade being overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States. Why are some Christians against this decision? Why do some Christians support the Democrat party which supports abortion, even up to birth? What about the Liberals' violent response after the Roe decision? Racial slurs and death threats have been made against Justice Clarence Thomas. There have been attempts to intimidate, kidnap, and murder the Conservative Supreme Court Justices. Why has AG Merrick Garland refused to prosecute the illegal protestors who were outside of the Conservative Justice's homes? Democrats are falsely claiming that Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney-Barrett lied during their confirmation hearings--is that true? Should doctors, and women in pro-life states where abortion is illegal be prosecuted?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we look at why fewer Americans believe in God. A recent Gallup poll shows that Americans who believe in God have now dropped to just 81%. In the 1960s it was 98%. How are people defining God? Why is Atheism on the rise? Why do Atheists choose Atheism? Why do young people seemingly reject God? Why are the numbers of belief in God lowest among liberals and Democrats? Why do people believe God can't hear prayers or intervene? Why does God seem so distant and "not there" sometimes?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we talk about the proposed Bi-Partisan Gun Law package and the concern that it may open the door to "Red Flag" Laws. What kind of "Red Flag" laws would be enacted? What are the proposals for univeral or expanded background checks? Will the proposed gun law package raise the age of AR-15 ownership from 18 to 21 years old? What about a ban on so-called "assault weapons"? Is the term "assault weapon" a misnomer? Should we arm teachers who volunteer and are qualified to use a gun? Should Christians support the 2nd Amendment? What about Christians who own/carry guns? Can gun ownership be conidered unbiblical? What does the Bible say about being armed?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we look at the fire bombing of a Pro-Life clinic in Buffalo, New York and the lack of fair media coverage surrounding it, and we take another look at the January 6th Committee Hearings issue as House Democrats are launching more "investigation" hearings on the January 6th, 2021 U. S. Capitol breach by Trump supporters. But these hearings will be televised live on TV with at least 2 major networks already billing them as 'must see TV" and pre-empting normal programming to air them.
In this episode of the National Roundtable Podcast Bob, John and Roger discuss the concerns over Monkey Pox, and President Biden's 13 proposed W.H.O Amendments (most of which did not pass this time around) and how they can affect the United States. Conservatives like Michele Bachmann and Tucker Carlson and others say President Joe Biden is, "handing U. S. sovereignty over to the W.H.O." Is that an accurate statement or an exaggeration? How does this affect U.S. Health policy and protocols? Can the W.H.O. go so far as to declare public health emergencies for any nation they want, or censor what it considers to be "misinformation"? Will the W.H.O. change the way in which vaccines and therapeutics are manufactured and distributed?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the Robb Elementary Shooting in Uvalde, Texas, and the politicizing of this horrendous event.
In this episode the National Crawford Roundtable discusses the recent mass shooting that took place in a predominantly Black grocery store in Buffalo, New York and the mass shooting in a California Presbytarian church. Neil Boron of Buffalo, NY comments on the effect it has had on his community and what actions are being taken for the survivors of the shooting victims, those who survived the shooting and the community as a whole. Roger Marsh will also talk about his very close connection to one of the heroes that gave his life to save others trapped in the church. The guys will also talk about other past mass shootings in the United States. How widespread is "White supremacy" in the U.S. today? Is the Brooklyn teenaged shooter really a product of "Fox News" and "right-wing media"? Or is it actually an example of Democrats and the liberal media eploiting the tragedy to further the narrative that White Supremacy is the #1 existential threat in America? That Republicans spew racist thetoric and fuel this threat? That we need more censorship of Conservative social media opinions? And that we need more gun laws? If Democrats are not using this for political gain then why is President Joe Biden going to Buffalo, but did not bother to go to other mass shooting sites like Waukesha, Wisconsin where a racist Black man who had called for violence against White people drove into a mostly White crowd at a Christmas parade killing 6 and injuring dozens more? And why didn't Biden visit the New York Subway in April when a racist Black man opened fire in the subway, shooting 10 White people--this, after he had posted his hatred towards and desire to kill White people on Social media platforms?
In this episode of the National Roundtable Podcast the guys discuss "2000 Mules", the recently released movie about voter fraud by Dinesh D'Souza. Bob will give an in-depth review of his viewing of the movie, then he will open up the roundtable for a discussion about the evidence of voter fraud presented in the movie. Was the evidence presented compelling or was it crazy conspiracy talk? Does it appear that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump? Is it a mistake to continue to discuss the 2020 election and voter fraud, or should we just, "let it go?" What about those who say voting is a waste of time? And they will discuss how main stream media, social media, and big tech contribute to "election rigging."
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys discuss the leaked preliminary SCOTUS ruling on Roe v. Wade and the Casey standard. How dangerous is this kind of leak? Could it mean 2 months for a threat and intimidation campaign to be launched to possibly change the vote of Barrett or Kavanaugh? Why don't Liberals and the media seem to care about the leak factor? Will this act as a distraction from Biden's inflation, and distastrous policies? Does it draw attention away from the upcomiing release of Dinesh D'Souza's "2000 Mules" documentary concerning the 2020 Election? Will this leak energize the Democrat's base for Mid-Terms.? If the Roe v. Wade overturn holds will it become a part of Donald Trump's legacy? If Roe v. Wade is overturned. what does that REALLY mean for abortion in America?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys, with special guest host Kim Monson, who is filling in for John Rush out of Colorado, talk about Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter and its implications. The hosts discuss the good, bad and indifferent of Musk buying Twitter. Who, if anyone, believes Musk will stop censorship on Twitter? Should Twitter lose its section 230 status that protects social media from government regulation and defamation lawsuits because they claim to be a neutral forum and not a publisher. Should Twitter be regulated by the government as a public utility? Why are the Liberals having a meltdown over the concept of Twitter going free speech? Will Trump return to Twitter--although he says he won't?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the overturning of the CDC's mask mandate for airports, planes, and other forms of transportation. And they take a look at the reactions to a viral video of a Christian group singing a praise and worship song on an Easy Jet flight out of the United Kingdom--was the praise group right to do this or is this "bad" witnessing? What about "Squad" member of Congress, Rep. Ilhan Omar's tweet which criticized the action and stated that similar behavior from Muslims would not have been tolerated. And how should Christians evangelize to the public? It what ways it is appropriate or off-putting?
As it falls during this week, in this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys will talk about all things Holy Week.
Good Friday- Does the debate matter whether the crucifixion happened on Friday, Wednesday or Thursday? Theologically, what was Jesus' crucifixion accomplishing? What is the significance of Jesus' passion?
Resurrection (Easter) Sunday- Should Christians be concerned over the pagan origins of Easter? What is the significance of the Resurrection, and did Jesus really rise from the dead (1 Corinthians 15)? What evidence is there of the Resurrection?
Crawford Media Group and the National Crawford Roundtable wish you a blessed Easter/Resurrection Sunday!
This week the National Crawford Roundtable welcomes Dr. Jill Vecchio as guest host as they examine the atrocities in Bucha and other parts of Ukraine, including the hundreds of bodies of civilians, some tortured, raped and executed by what appears to be Russian forces. The Roundtable also discusses the growing sub-set of Christians and Conservatives that see Putin as the good guy who is trying to cleanse Ukraine of corruption and Nazi influence, and Ukraine as the bad guy using deception and propaganda to make it look like Putin is the bad guy. Should Putin be brought up on war crime charges? What should the U.S. do now? And where is God in all of this? Why does He allow the level of suffering we see not only in predominately Christian Ukraine, but all over this fallen world?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys talk about the Will Smith/Chris Rock Academy Awards smack heard 'round the world and they discuss Florida's so-called "Don't Say Gay" Bill--what is it really? Does anyone even watch the Academy Awards show anymore? Was Will Smith justified in using violence to defend his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, against a joke? The guys will also separate fact from fiction regarding what is actually in the so-called "Don't Say Gay" bill. They will discuss how and why the Democrats and the media are attacking the bill as a, "hateful assault on children's safety." And they'll take a look at Disney and their policies regarding LGBTQIA including the recent apology made by Disney's CEO regarding the perceived exclusion of LGBTQIA characters and gay affection portrayed in its childrens films.
This episode the National Crawford Roundtable takes a look into the current confirmation hearings for nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, and an overall look at the SCOTUS. Was President Biden right to limit his choice to only a black woman? Will Republicans have to walk on egg shells with Judge Jackson to avoid the risk of being accused of sexism or racism? What about her support of BLM? Critical Race Theory? The 1619 project? Should her light sentencing for child pornography be troubling? Should Republicans vote yes or no on her nomination? Regarding the SCOTUS, is it really a 5-4 Conservative Court? What is the proper Constitutional role of the Judiciary branch? What about court packing?
In this episode of the National Roundtable Podcast the guys discuss the Ukraine war in the context of "freedom." The Ukrainian Klitschko brothers, Vitali and Wladimir (both former heavyweight boxing champions) say they are staying to fight for their freedom. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky (virtually) addressed the U.S. Congress Wednesday as he stays to fight for Ukraine's freedom. What is the value of "freedom" in light of today's Progressive Left that seemingly values security over freedom. Polls consistently show young Democrats today prefer Socialism over Capitalism, COVID controls over liberty, etc. Would today's American Progressives consider "freedom" important enough to fight for it? Or would they be content with Putin's Communism with the government taking care of their basic needs, such as food, shelter and healthcare? A recent Quinnipiac Poll asked Americans if the U.S. were invaded, similarly to Ukraine, would you stay or flee? Most Republicans said they would fight over flee (68% to 25%). Most Independents would also fight over flee (57% to 36%), however, most Democrats said they would flee over fight (52% to 40%). What is "freedom?" How do we define it? From where does it come? And is the new generation of Progressives losing a passion for it?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast the guys discuss gas prices, inflation, and the energy crisis. Are we truly in an energy crisis? This week oil hit $130 a barrel, with gas breaking an all time record of $4.10 a gallon (over $7.00 a gallon in Los Angeles) President Biden is finally succumbing to pressure to stop buying Russian oil, is in talks with Venezuelan Dictator Maduro and Iran to buy oil from them, while refusing to increase our own oil production; how will this affect future gas prices? How serious is this oil crunch as well as overall inflation--what will be the affect on the less advantaged? How do we handle the debate where Progressives say, "this just proves we need to go all green", whereas Conservatives say, "this just proves we need to regain energy independence"?
This week the National Crawford Roundtable examines the Russia/Ukraine situation. How did we get here? Would Trump have handled this situation differently than Biden? In what ways would Trump have handled this conflict? What should the U. S. and its allies do? Kudos to President of Ukraine, former entertainer Volodyhmyr Zelensky, for refusing exile and staying to fight, and to Vitali Klitschko, the Mayor of Kyiv, the former World Heavyweight boxing champion who is also staying in the country to fight and to the people of Ukraine for their courage under fire.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss two conflicts--Russia's aggression towards Ukraine, and Trudeau's Emergencies Act in Canada. NATO says Russian troops have entered Ukraine. Could this lead to war? What should President Biden do? Will inflation shoot up even higher from this? In one of the strongest moves by the West, Germany announced that they have halted the certification of the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline which would link Germany and Russia. What will be the reaction to that?
In Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau has invoked the Emergencies Act in response to the trucker's protest over vaccination/COVID mandates. Has Trudeau overstepped his boundries with peaceful protests or even donors to the protestors? Is this the Progressive/Leftist philosophy of power over the people? Will something like this happen with the U.S. convoy getting underway? The Progressive/Left used COVID to suspend people's rights and now are they just using the Truckers as their latest power grab excuse?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys take a look at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Should the U.S. have boycotted them? Would a boycott have unfairly punished the athletes? What about China's human right abuses--Uyghurs genocide, forced abortion, sterlizations, religous persecution? What about their unfair trade practices? Are liberal celebrities, sports stars, and corporations being hypocritical when they are willing to accept Chinese contracts and endorsements but refuse to do business in Georgia because of Voter I.D. laws that "violate their conscience?"
In this episode the National Crawford Roundtable shares the latest information about the Canadian Freedom Convoy trucker's protest. The longest North-American border crossing, the Detroit-Windsor Bridge was shut down Monday night because of a long convoy of U. S. truckers joining Canada's truckers in a protest against forced vaccinations. Does the disruption factor make this protest wrong? Is this a justfiable violation of the Romans 13 "obeying governing authorities"instruction? What about GoFundMe seizing control of the $10 million in donations, planning to divert them to different sources, before fianlly agreeing to just refund he money?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we review the Joe Rogan/Neil Young et al debacle and look into the Canadian Trucker Convoy Story. In the Joe Rogan story the guys discuss the cancel culture mentatlity of the Left leaning. How does the Left define "misinformation?" Is taking Ivermectin and questioning vaccine necessity really "dangerous conspiracy theory" type talk? On to the Canadian Trucker Convoy, the guys review the purpose of the convoy and the dishonest smears against the truckers who participated. Do vaccine mandates with Omicron really make any sense? Do vaccine mandates, like on the truckers, justify civil disobedience?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the new Canadian C-4 law and its possible impact on the United States. The law makes it a criminal offense, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, to engage in any kind of "conversion therapy" for homosexuality or gender identity. Because of the way in which "conversion therapy" is being defined, is it possible that this could apply to more than just licensed counselors, but to private conversations between pastors and church members, friends, or even parents and their children? LGBTQ activists claim Christians are just being paranoid, but the law itself gives no exemption for pastors or parents, so could it be used by a liberal judge to throw the book at a pastor because of his sermon, or for counseling someone who asked for help overcoming their same-sex attraction, or parents who refuse to affirm the gender-confusion wishes of their child? How serious of an issue is this? Will it come to the United States? Might pastors, teachers, talk show hosts and others end up in jail over this? How will this movement affect parents?
The 49th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision regarding the legalization of abortion in the United States is coming up this Saturday, January 22nd. The National Crawford Roundtable discusses the abortion issue--what it is, and what it is not. Do proponents of abortion actually understand what it is they are supporting? What is fact and what is fiction? Should abortion be allowed in the cases of rape or incest, and how prevelant is that? If made illegal would women resort to "backroom" abortions, and what is the truth about that happening in the past and possibly the future? When does Life really begin? Is there forgiveness for having had an abortion? What does the Bible say about abortion?
In this episode of The National Crawford Roundtable podcast the discussion centers around Cryptocurrency, in particular, Bitcoin. Is this something in which Christians should invest? What is Cryptocurrency and is it the wave of the future or a possible passing fad? Will Cryptocurrency turn us into a cashless society? Does it denote the mark of the Beast? Should churches accept Cryptocurrency as tithes and offerings? Is it wrong to use this type of currency considering it is used for so much illegal activity?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable Podcast the guys discuss the media's hyper-obsession with the "one year anniversary" of the January 6th breach on the Capitol. As wrong as it was, does it really deserve a "date that will live in infamy" type magnitude? Is President Biden right to call it the "greatest threat on our democracy since the Civil War"? What about the dozens being held one year later without bail, compared to the BLM rioters, most of whom were released with low to no bail, and have had the charges against them dropped? What perspective should Christians have regarding the events of January 6th?
In this year-end episode the National Crawford Roundtable has an open dialogue and analysis of 2021 on various subjects, including the economy, COVID, crypto currency, transgender policies, and the state of the Church in America. The guys also discuss border security, foreign policy, the events of January 6th, as well as Afghanistan, vaccine mandates, and Critical Race Theory.
In this second half of a 2 part episode the National Crawford Roundtable examines Christmas from both whimsical and serious points of view. Should parents be honest, from the beginning, with their children about Santa Claus? Is it a "bad witness" to give "proselytizing" gifts like, crosses, Christian books, videos, Bible story coloring books or T-shirts with Christian messages to non-believers? Why wrap gifts for pets--do they really know the difference? How accurate is a Nativity scene, and does it matter? What is the true meaning of Christmas, and the significance of Jesus' coming to Earth?
For this episode and the next upcoming episode the National Crawford Roundtable podcast will look at Christmas, through both serious and light-hearted lenses. In this episode the guys look at whether Christians should be troubled by the Pagan origins of how and when we celebrate Christmas. What, if anything, is wrong with Christmas trees in church or on the pulpit? How should Christians address retailers who refuse to say, "Merry Christmas" in their ads or in person? Is there anything wrong with re-gifting? Plus, the guys debate what they consider to be the best, and worst, and most overrated Christmas movies.
This week we discuss the ethical dilemma of medical advances, and where the line is crossed. How do we discern the difference between acceptable advances in medical technology versus altering humanity in a God-dishonoring way? Where do we draw the line or has it already been crossed? How far can we go before it becomes offensive to God? Will God allow us to go much further in genetically altering humanity?
Is abortion ever justifiable? With the SCOTUS hearing the Mississippi abortion law case the Crawford Roundtable discusses abortion from a Christian perspective. How might Justices Brett Kavanaugh or Amy Coney Barrett come down on this issue? Is Senator Jeanne Shaheen correct when she says that changes in the abortion laws will cause a "revolution?" Is there any viability in previability? Is there ever an argument to justify abortion? Will the Mississippi abortion restrictions be overturned? Could it lead to Roe v. Wade being overturned as well?
In this episode of the National Roundtable Podcast we give thanks for you, and discuss Thanksgiving and its origins. We'll have a light-hearted conversation about what's on the Thanksgiving table at each of the guy's households, and also discuss the current state of shortages and inflation. And we give great thanks to the Lord, our God, for the bounty in our lives!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND GOD BLESS!!!
This week the National Crawford Roundtable examines the Kyle Rittenhouse case, the 18-year-old who is accused of killing 2 protestors and injuring another during the unrest in Kenosha, Wisconson. Rittenhouse, then 17 years old, claims he was present to defend the property and lives of the citizens there, and that the shootings were done in self defense. What is it about this case that has conservatives overwhelmingly siding with Rittenhouse, while liberals overwhelmingly oppose Rittenhouse? Was Rittenhouse wrong to go there? Was he being couragous or noble? Regardless of whether he was right or wrong to go there, wasn't it still self defense? Why is this considered a racially explosive case when Rittenhouse and the 3 people he shot are all white? And what about the prosecutor, pointing an AR-15 rifle at the jury, calling the rioters who were shot "heroes"?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys talk about counterfeit Christianity and the reinventing of Jesus. A new poll from Probe Ministries shows almost 70% of self proclaimed "born-again Christians" believe that other religious beliefs can lead souls to Heaven. This shows a worsening of the Pluralism that was shown to be at 57%, according to a Pew research Poll of several years ago. What is driving this belief; how do we explain it? What about people of other religions in other lands--do they not get a "fair chance"? What about "good people"--how can they go to Hell? The guys also call out other common characteristics of today's Counterfeit Christianity.
This week the National Crawford Roundtable reviews last night's elections in Virginia and New Jersey, and the World Series. With an amazing win for Republicans in Virginia, and the count too close to call in the New Jersey Governor's election, the guys discuss how this will affect upcoming elections. Also, the Roundtable talks about the Atlanta Brave's World Series win and the irony of the Series having been moved from Georgia to Colorado over Georgia's voter integrity law.
This episode the National Crawford Roundtable continues the discussion about how Christians should treat Halloween. What are the real origins of Halloween; is it a Christian holiday stolen by the Pagans, or a Pagan holiday converted by Christians? How should Christians view Halloween, Trick or Treating, and grisly decorated houses? What about church productions like, "Hell House" or "Heaven's Gates" or "Hell's Flames"?
Over the next several episodes the National Crawford Roundtable podcast will delve into "Halloween-ish" topics and how Christians should respond to them. This week the guys discuss ghosts, haunted houses and scary movies. What is the biblical perspective regarding ghosts? What are they really? Why do some places, including houses, seem to be "haunted?" Are entertainment based "Haunted Houses" harmless fun, or are they wrong for Christians? How far is too far when it comes to scary movie content?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss transgenderism and the gender debate. How should we, as believers, view and handle the gender confusion being thrust on our children? Could parents lose their parental rights or have their children taken away for physchological child abuse if they "mis-gender" their child or refuse to affirm their child's "gender identity?" Is it appropriate that school districts are ordering teachers to use preferred gender pronouns for children, and in some instances, keep it secret from the parents. California has enacted a new law that requires larger retailers to have a "gender-neutral" aisle for kids toys. LEGO toys announced they will remove figurines with "harmful" gender stereotypes. The guys also talk about the Lt. Governor of North Carolina using the word "filth" during a church service to describe the trangenderim and homosexuality being taught in our schools, and the demands for his resignation because of it.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the moral and ethical dilemma some Christians face regarding vaccine mandates and the "Religious Exemption." Are Christians using deception with the Religious Exemption claim, and if so, is it morally or ethically wrong to use this exemption? Currently there is a huge surge in people filling out "Religious Exemption" claims with their employers to avoid getting the COVID-19 vaccine. It appears that the majority of these claims are not honestly based on a true religious objection. While some are claiming "Religious Exemption" solely based on the "aborted stem cell lines" objection, the argument is dishonestly inconsistent as none of the vaccines actually contain aborted stem cells. And some religious leaders, while opposing vaccine mandates, say they cannot issue religious exemption letters because there is no viable religious, nor biblical argument.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys talk about COVID vaccine discrimination and the so called, "thinning of the herd" with healthcare workers and others are being fired en masse because they choose to not be vaccinated for COVID. Why are some required to get vaccines in order to remain employed, yet others are not? Is it hypocrisy on the part of the Biden administration that some employers/employees face mandated vaccination rules that enforce some sort of punishment for non-compliance, but others are not required to have a vaccination at all?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we delve into the teaching of Critical Race Theory in American schools and the Military. What is Critical Race Theory; how do we define it? Is there truth in the belief that white supremacy and racism are at the core of the foundatioonal structure of America's history? Is opposition to CRT tantamount to denying America's racial sins? Should CRT be taught in American schools or in the military? Does, "white" equal oppresser and, "black" or "brown" equal oppressed?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys will discuss 2 different aspects of the COVID-19 vaccination issue. First, a new poll from OnePoll shows 16% of Americans have ended an average of 3 friendships over vaccination disagreements, with the majority ended by those that have been vaccinated. Why is this happening? What about this issue is driving this much of a wedge between people, families, friends and the Body of Christ? There seems to be a cult-like vaccine/mask obsession with some people that justifies their ending relationships. And what about President Joe Biden's vaccine mandates for businesses with 100+ employees: can he actually force this? Why the exemptions for Congress, the Courts, Postal workers and illegal immigrants. Is there an unfair criticism of the un-vaccinated?
This episode the National Crawford Roundtable podcast reflects on the 20th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. They guys share their thoughts on the conspiracy theories of an "inside job', "controlled demolitions", "no plane hitting the Pentagon" and others. Were we right to go into Afghanistan? What about Iraq? And what should we do about the Taliban, ISIS and Al Qaeda now? Should Christians tie these terrorist groups to Islam and Mohammed?
In this week's National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys share updates regarding the situation in Afghanastan and COVID-19 vaccinations. In the first half of the podcast we look at the shocking reality that we have officially left behind in Afghanastan hundreds, possibly thousands or American citizens and Afghan allies who are now in danger for their lives. How should they be handled? We'll also discuss the 13 U.S. servicemembers killed by ISIS-K, and the distressing news that they are now armed with $83 billion dollars in military arsenal. Should the U.S. or our Allies return to Afghanistan at some point? If not, how do we stop another 9-11 type attack? In the second half of the podcast we will discuss what is going on with COVID-19 and the vaccination debate. Are the numbers regarding infection rates and deaths being released true or skewed? And what about the vitriol between the vaccinated and non-vaccinated--what is really driving the division?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we follow up on our discussion from last week with the latest developments in Afghanistan. What should President Biden have done differently in Afghanistan, and what should he be doing now? It looks like we're obeying the Taliban's demand to get out by August 31st; how do we get our American citizens and Afghan allies out from behind the Taliban lines? What about the mocking from Taliban as they wear our U. S. miltiary clothing and sit in our military vehicles, along with recreating the famous Iwo Jima photo using a Taliban flag? How serious is the alleged resurgence of terror networks like Al-Qaeda and ISIS? How real is another 9-11 attack? Was the 20 year war worth it?
This episode the National Crawford Roundtable discusses the current fiasco in Afghanistan. How serious is this humiliation for the United States? Are we experiencing another, "fall of Saigon" moment? Was the 20 year war a waste of time, effort and resources? In Biden's address to the nation he defended, "his" decision to end the war, but wasn't it Trump who negotiated the war's end? Isn't the bigger issue not that we left, but HOW we left? Trump negotiated an agreement that was dependent upon the Taliba not trying to seize control of Afghanistan, but after Biden took office the Taliban started advancing, but Biden did not respond accordingly. And why does the spokesman for the Taliban have an active Twitter account, but Trump does not? The Taliban is already alluding to reinstating Sharia Law--how will that affect women and homosexuals in the country? Will executions of gays happen again? Will women be forced to wear Burqas, not be allowed to leave their homes without a male escort or written permission from their husbands? Will women be denied an education and employment? What about the military equipment, weapons, ammunition, tanks, etc. that has been left behind--how will they be used by the Taliban? Does this mean we have, "officially" lost the war on terror against the Taliban? What should we have done differently?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the Andrew Cuomo Scandal and the Democrats response to it. We'll run down the list of allegations and talk about the numerous alleged victims. Had Cuomo not resigned would he have been impeached? And what is with the "2 week" resignation--why is that being allowed instead of an immediate removal from office? Considering the protections afforded to Bill Clinton and Joe Biden, it appears as if the Democrats are throwing Cuomo under the bus--are they? After Cuomo's nursing home scandal, isn't this really about Democrats realizing Cuomo is damaged goods and can't serve their purposes anymore, and so are sacrificing him to appear as if they are willing to throw out one of their own thereby honorably, "standing up for women?" How should we, as Christians, react to this story?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast the guys discuss and debate whether the government should step in and break up the monopolies of Big Tech--Amazon, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc., as well as regulate them like public utilities. What about Section 230 protections being removed? What would a monopoly breakup look like? Does this violate the basic philosophy of keeping the government out of free enterprise? Is this Communist thinking?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the 2020-2021 Tokyo Olympics. Is anybody watching? The television ratings for the Olympics are at a 30 year low--why? Are those who ignore the Olympics being unpatriotic? What about Simone Biles quitting due to, "stress" and mental health issues? Why isn't more being made of the 2 Muslim Judo athletes who dropped out because they refused to, "touch" those "dirty" Jewish Israeli Judo athletes? What about the New Zealand man who is allowed to compete as a transgender "female" weightlifter--is that fair to the biologically female athletes?
In this *episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast we talk about the mandating of COVID vaccines for military personnel, medical staff and other workers. How can Americans be forced to inject things into their bodies or lose their careers or livelihoods? What's driving this cult-like obsession with vaccine acceptance and adherence? Are there legitimate questions to have about the safety of COVID and other vaccines? If vaccines are so safe and effective then why all the censorship? Where are the, "my body, my choice" feminists?
*this is the actual 100th original episode (episode 79 was the only repeat).
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable podcast, *the 99th original episode, we discuss liberal Democrat misinformation in regard to the crisis in Cuba, the Texas Voter Integrity Law, and the Major League All-Star game location shift due to the voter laws in Georgia. Is the uprising in Cuba really due to lack of access to the COVID-19 vaccine as portrayed by the Biden administration? Why is requiring legal identification to vote in the U.S. being considered, "Jim Crow?" Why did the MLB allow itself to be bullied into moving the All Star game from predominately African American Atlanta, Georgia to predominately white Denver, Colorado due to so-called Voter restrictive laws?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the sins of slavery and polygamy from a distinctly Christian point of view. Could someone simultaneously be a Christian and a slave owner or polygamist? How do we contextualize American and slave ownership? Many of our Founding Fathers were slave holders; how do we reconcile this? Can we really judge the actions from the 1700s through a 2021 lens? Does the Bible "condone" slavery or polygamy? The guys also talk about the trashing of America over the Independence Day holiday from "Squad" member Rep. Cori Bush, Maxine Waters, the Washington Post, NPR, NYT, USA Today, National Geographic (who called fireworks racist), even Marvel Comics which had Captain America call the American Dream, "a lie."
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys discuss the current wave of Anti-Americanism on the Left. What is driving it? From where does Anti-American attitudes like Grammy winner Macy Gray saying the U.S. flag is a symbol of hate, or a Transgender Olympic BMX bike rider saying he wants to burn the U.S. flag on the podium if he wins, or Olympic athlete Gwen Berry turning her back on the flag during the Anthem, and other actions of this nature, come? Is America "systemically racist?" What about America's Christian Heritage? How do we get America to turn back to God? And what is it that makes America great?
Is working for, or with Christians and Christian businesses harder than working with, or for non-Christians? Are we, as Christians, more high maintenance than non-Christians? Is so, what drives that bad behavior? Why do Christians sometimes act like rude, inconsiderate jerks? Are our expectations of other Christians higher than for non-Christians? If so, why?
Is it morally, ethically and Biblically wrong for able-bodied people to stay home and collect free money instead of going back to work? Were COVID unemployment subsidies right or even necessary at first? Are they right today? Is it really difficult for employers to find workers? What happened to honor, responsibility and work ethic? What is the Biblical view of, "work?" Since collecting free money instead of working is, "legal" does that mean that, Biblically speaking, the voluntarily unemployed are not violating the principle of, "obeying the governing authorities?" Are they violating other Biblical principles? Do we have a moral, ethical and Biblical duty to work for money if the government says we don't have to?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys--minus the vacationing Roger Marsh--discuss the Washington Times story about animal-human hybrids, or "Chimeras" being created in labratories. What does it say about the Democratic Party that not one Senate Democrat voted to stop this research, and not one Republican voted to continue this research? How are we to understand these creatures--are they human? Might they become self aware if allowed to mature? Would God impart a soul to them? These Chimeras are aborted in the womb; is that an "acceptable" abortion? Is it possible that we may someday see, "Island of Dr. Moreau" creatures walk the Earth? Will God really allow this to happen before the return of Jesus? Is this research justifiable because it theoretically helps find cures for various diseases?
This week the National Crawford Roundtable discuss the Democrat's and media's political hyping, exaggeraton and endless milking of the January 6th attack on the U.S Capitol. During his joint session of Congress address, President Biden said that January 6th was, "the biggest assault on our Democracy since the Civil War." But is it? Is it bigger than the 4 Presidential assassinations since the Civil War? Does it eclipse Jim Crow, WWI, WWII, Pearl Harbor, Bay of Pigs, the Cold War, the wars in Vietnam and Korea? Did former President Trump's speech really ignite this riot? Was his supporters' belief that the election was stolen or rigged really the cause of the January 6th attack? Why are Democrats so anxious to name a Congressional Commission to investigate January 6th, but not the BLM or Antifa riots? How should Conservatives view and contextualize the January 6th riot?
Is it wrong, immoral, or even "sinful" for able-bodied people to legally live off the government? In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable, the guys, minus the vacationing Neil Boron, discuss staying home and collecting government money rather than working. Is it wrong to take free money from the government rather than to work if you are able? What damage is coming from this? Is deadbeat laziness being encouraged? Is it the cause of the lack of employees for businesses unable to fill available positions? Whatever happened to the American work ethic and what effect will this have on American productivity over the next generation? Are we being conditioned for weak, entitlement socialism?
In this episode of the Crawford Roundtable Podcast the guys examine the CDC guidelines regarding the end--or not the end--of masking up for protection from the COVID-19 virus. Is the end of mask wearing for vaccinated people truly based on science, or is it a political tactic to steer attention away from Biden's disastrous presidency? Why can only, "fully vaccinated" people go without a mask; why aren't former COVID carriers with natural immunity not allowed the same capability? Why must children under 12 still wear masks? If natural immunity and vaccine immunity both allow for re-infection, and if neither can say how long immunity lasts, why is only vaccine immunity being respected? Will things ever get back to pre-COVID normal?
In this episode the National Crawford Roundtable examines transgenderism and Caitlyn Jenner's run for Governor of California. Should Jenner be referred to as, "he" or "she"? Will conservative Christians support Jenner's run for Governor? Should we? If not, is it because of being socially liberal or because of being transgender? How should Christian react to transgenderism? Is gender truly defined by what one thinks or feels it is? What does the Bible say (and not say) about transgenderism?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the upcoming National Day of Prayer. This will be the first time in 70 years that there will be no National Day of Prayer at the Capitol, with the fact that the Capitol is still barricaded with fences, barbed wire and the National Guard troops there from the January 6th riots as the reason. How do the "interfaith" prayers of today compare to the prayers of our Founding Fathers? What does America need prayer for the most? What prayers are the Church in most need of? Is anything too trivial for prayer?
In this follow up episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss the latest information on the mask wearing debate. The guys review the study published by the N.I.H. which shows masks not only do not work in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and its variants, but is actually harmful by increasing CO2, decreasing O2, weakening our immune systems, and causing us to breathe in an increased amount of bacteria. We also look at the current censorship of anti-mask arguments including a now blocked video posted on social media sites of Epidemiologists from Harvard, Oxford and Stanford which criticizes mask-wearing for children. The guys also discuss the new mandatory mask guidelines for children as young as 2. And, as Christians, how should we treat mask-wearing in public?
In this episode the National Crawford Roundtable examines the Derek Chauvin trial and verdict. We also discuss the actions and possible repercussions of the actions and words of Congresswoman Maxine Waters. Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats seem to be defending her, why?
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable the guys look at the shooting of Daunte Wright and the ongoing trial of Derek Chauvin. Was the shooting death of Daunte Wright really just a tragic accident or could this be murder? How could Officer Kim Potter, a seasoned cop, mistake her taser for her gun? What should happen to her. What, if any, charges should be filed against her?
What's REALLY in the Georgia Voter Reform Law and why are some people and businesses so offended by it? This week the National Crawford Roundtable debunks the fallacies being perpetrated by opponents to the "new" law and also looks at hypocracy of the corporations who choose to join in on the boycott of Georgia but remain tied to foreign companies with abysmal human rights policies.
In this episode of the National Crawford Roundtable we discuss all things Easter. The guys talk about Good Friday and Jesus' death on the cross, the significance of Jesus' Resurrection, and the historicity of the Resurrection (apologetics), and the Pagan origins of Easter and whether they make it wrong for Christians to celebrate it.
This episode the National Crawford Roundtable discuss the mass shooting in Colorado and how we as Christians should respond. Also the guys talk about possible protocols that could be put in place because of the COVID-19 vaccines and how we should respond to them. What if your employer requires you to take the vaccine and show proof before allowing you to return to work? Could we be forced to have an Electronic Passport showing that we have been vaccinated?
On this episode the National Crawford Roundtable will discuss the current humanitarian crisis at the Mexican border. How serious is it? What is the cause of the current crisis? Is Nancy Pelosi correct in saying the crisi is the fault of former President Donald Trump and Climate Change? What incentives for the migrants come from President Biden's policies, and who is getting rich from them? How should we, as Christians, view this dilemma?
This week is the one year anniversary of the COVID shutdowns; where are we now? President Joe Biden is now finally addressing the nation and taking questions. Will there be another $1.9 Trillion Relief package? What about mask restrictions--17 states are now mask free, should we all follow suit? What about vaccinations--will we all be required to get them and to carry a "vaccination passport?" Will church services ever get back to normal, or will online services be the norm?
The hyper-sensitivity of today's "woke" Cancel Culture appears to be going overboard with what they consider to be, "offensive" material, especially that of an historical nature. How do we, as Christians, balance being, "sensitive" with rolling our eyes at the absurdity of today's "Wokeness?" In this episode they guys will discuss Dr. Seuss books being dropped from publication and Hasbro's decision to gender neutralize Mr./Mrs. Potato Head. We'll also look at the current trend of changing well known product mascots deemed racist: Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben's, or logos like Land O' Lakes butter or various sports teams like the Washington Redskins. Can we feel confident he is drawing people to the True Biblical Jesus as opposed to some fake Hollywood version of Jesus. While we can't judge his heart, we can judge the fruit he is producing. How should we assess that fruit? What adviCe might we offer to Kayne West? To his Christian fans?
In part 3 of our 3 part series on Christians and the paranormal the Roundtable turns a discerning eye towards Halloween/All Hallow's Eve and All Saints Day. The guys will talk about the Pagan origins of Samhain and Halloween traditions. How should Christians view Halloween, as cultural fun or a celebration of evil? Is it okay for Christians to dress up for Halloween, and allow their kids to trick-or-treat? Can Christians "reclaim" Halloween to use as a witnessing tool?
In part 2 of our 3 part series the National Crawford Roundtable discusses ghosts and other so-called paranormal activity. Bob Dutko will share his experiences growing up in, "haunted houses," and seeing "ghosts," and his brush with other paranormal activity. The
In this 3 part series the National Crawford Roundtable will explore UFOs, the paranormal and Halloween. This podcast, the first of the three, will deal with UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Are there sentient beings elsewhere in the Universe? Did God put intelligent beings on other planets? Might God have placed plant life or vegetation outside of Earth? Is the belief in intelligent alien life on other planets an un-Biblical view? Do UFOs exist and if so, what are they? Bob Dutko will be sharing his personal experience with a so-called UFO.
In this episode the National Crawford Roundtable takes a biblical view of the current popularity of the use of CBD oil (the non-intoxicating part of the marijuana/hemp plant) and the rising legalization and use of medical and recreational marijuana. If recreational pot is legal is it still wrong for Christians to imbibe? Should marijuana be viewed in the same way that wine or other liquors are viewed? If it is acceptable to drink alcoholic beverages but not get drunk, is it okay to smoke pot but not get, "stoned"? What about Gen 1:29 which states, Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food." Is it okay to use that or other Biblical verses to destigmatize the use of CBD or marijuana?
This episode of the National Crawford Roundtable looks at the Christian View of Socialism. We'll define socialism and the concept of economic justice. Was Jesus a socialist? Were believers practicing socialism in Acts 2 & 4? Does socialism help the poor? What does help the underprivileged? Should healthcare and college be free? How has "free" healthcare affected countries like Canada and Great Britain? Does socialism harden hearts? Does capitalism encourage greed?
In this podcast the National Crawford Roundtable takes a decidedly political bend as we discuss the current calls from the Democrats for impeachment over the "Ukranian Scandal". The Roundtable will discuss whether or not this is a legitimate or a manufactured scandal. Why does it matter if Trump called on Ukraine to investigate the Joe and Hunter Biden corruption allegations? How seriously should we be viewing those allegations? Is it suspect that the Ukraine energy company put Hunter Biden on its board with a $50,000.00 a month salary even though he has no experience with either the Ukraine or energy? Or that they pay his firm one million dollars a year? Or that all of this took place after then Vice President Biden took his son with him to Ukraine? Joe Biden then threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loans unless Ukraine fires a prosecutor that was investigating the energy company that was paying Biden's son; was that ethical? And with 145 Democrats currently on board for an impeachment inquiry is it possible that Trump will be impeached? Is this just another, "witch hunt? like the Russia/Collusion hoax? What is it about Trump that makes him so hated by both the media and the Democrats?
This discussion takes on the most common claims from the LGBTQ community including why some behavior, such as eating pork and shellfish or wearing of mixed fabrics were once considered sinful in the Old Testament but are now accepted practices, so why isn't homosexuality? Why, if Jesus is about love, tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness, is homosexuality not accepted? Did Jesus say that some Eunuchs were, "born that way" and that, "Eunuchs were gay"? Other topics include: Is it possible to be gay and Christian? What about the growth of "gay affirming" churches? Are the claims that the Bible says that Saul's sons David and Jonathan were lovers or that Ruth and Naomi were lesbian lovers true?
The Crawford Roundtable examines the LGBTQ issue--are some people predisposed to homosexuality? Is there a "Gay" gene? And, if that gene was discovered, would that then mean that homosexuality is no longer a sin, or that God, "made them 'that way'"? The Roundtable will also discuss transgenderism. Is gender fluid, and do feelings determine gender? Other discussions include whether or not Christians should use "preferred' gender pronouns. Should Christians attend a "gay wedding"? Is it a bad witness if Christian businesses refuse to support gay marriages? And why do Christians seemingly focus more on the sin of homosexuality as opposed to other sins like adultery, fornication, drunkenness, greed, etc.
In the wake of Hurricane Dorian The Crawford Roundtable addresses Global Warming and Climate change claims--are they true? Does the media hyper-cover hurricanes and other so called, "extreme weather" perceptions? Is the perception that the media overlooks the Christian organizations that are always on the front lines in the aftermath of weather related disasters accurate? The Crawford Roundtable also discusses what scripture says and does not say about our stewardship of the Earth.
With the magnitude of mass shootings happening in the United States, most recently Dayton and El Paso, the National Crawford Roundatable takes a hard look at gun ownership and 2nd Amendment Rights from a Christian perspective. Should Christians own guns? Would Jesus own a gun? Does gun ownership show a lack of faith in God? How do you reconcile gun ownership with God's commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Kill"? In addition the Crawford Roundtable discusses the efficacy, or lack thereof, in banning assault weapons, intensifying Universal Background checks, and creating gun free zones in schools and churches.
In this premiere episode the National Crawford Roundtable hosts talk about Israel’s denial of entry for U.S. Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar because of their anti-Semitic comments and support of the BDS movement. And the topic of the growth of Messianic Judaism and the false perception that being Jewish and Christian is a contradiction will also be discussed.
