Broadcasting from UC San Diego's radio station, undergraduate student Adarsh Parthasarathy hosts KSDT's "The Aisle" and serves as Managing Editor of the campus newspaper of the same name. He tackles difficult issues in the fields of law, political science, and economics in the United States in an effort to provide analysis beyond just news, and bring to light critical viewpoints on divisive issues from both sides of the aisle.
We live in what some call a post-fact world, where it's claims and emotions first, and facts, including science, later. I take the water crisis in Flint, Michigan as an example of where progressivism can fall victim to this in an environment where conservatives are generally the most egregious violators of fact, and expand on what I believe needs to happen as a result of this unfortunate state of affairs in public consciousness.

The Supreme Court is hearing two gerrymandering cases this year after a controversial ruling in a similar case, Gill v. Whitford, last term. Between standing, whether this is a justiciable question, and what the Court will do in these two cases to preserve their image, there's a lot to unpack with this topic.
