Welcome good people and Happy New Year! The Stand Up Podcast presents to our listening family our first interview of 2019. Since our beginning, we are about building value for our listeners the professional College Admissions Representative, and I believe today we have accomplished this target.
We interview founder of http://onlinedegree.com/ Mr. Grant Aldrich, and we take a look at his past as a college student where he incurred the dreaded student loan debt and what Grant decided to develop so other would not have the same pitfall. So if you work with working adults looking to return for training and education this is in your wheelhouse!
We go into great depth of how the www.OnlineDegree.Com can save students real money up to 30% so far in tuition. So give the podcast a listen and please excuse some of the audio quality (Remember we are learning along the way) but I think we can motor through it and learn what Grant is doing to radically change the student debt experience.
Our next podcast we will have another special guest Ms. Raina Gilyard-Crowther! We will be learning from Raina what it is like to be a field admissions representative. So we are super excited to get a view into that world of college admissions.

Episode 2
Welcome back and thank you so much for the great feedback! This episode Jeff answers an email from Rebecca a relatively new admissions rep of 6 months. Here questions is how do I make heads or tail of the Flash Report when meeting with her DOA. Jeff provides a unique way to personalize the Flash Report so it makes sense and can be a tool that is workable for the rep.
The Stand Up Podcast announced two unique future guest that are scheduled for December and January. Our December guest has developed and implemented his business model to reduce student debt. Stay tuned for this amazing guest coming in December from a special location. Our January guest is Ms. Raina Gilyard-Crowther a successful admission field representative for Tulsa Welding School and Technology Centers. Raina will share for those of us that have never worked in that space how her day is set up and how she keeps students engaged when start dates are often far away. So we are excited to have a long form interview with these two highly respected guest in the education arena.

This training module is the follow up to the Training Podcast on Leaving a Voicemail. http://bit.ly/2D0WvV1
In this training module we focus on how to create a conversation when your student actually answers the phone. Remember that if we fail to have a plan, then we plan to fail. This Training Podcast lays out a format that may help you be better prepared to provide a meaningful and great student experience. The purpose of setting an appointment is to have the appointment show up.
In this episode the listener is provided a step by step layout on how a properly move the conversation to a point of the student asking for your help, as they see you as the professional that can help them get closer to their work goals.
This is an example of how an entire school system with multiple admission department can standardize their admissions process. Executive leadership spends time, energy and money to develop what they believe is the perfect student experience for their school system, only to have it interpreted by down stream leadership on what they believe it to mean, followed by every admission rep put their twist on it. Literally to the process is not recognizable by the creators who developed the system. The Pointer Communication Group has eliminated this industry wide problem by going directly to the source and creating a subscription base solution to have the message delivered as produced. This is the fastest way to on board, retrain, target isolated areas of opportunities for admissions reps all on demand. No longer have to prove a schools systems intent when they are challenged on compliance or ethics you now have proof on how all reps are trained. Because each rep will complete a compliance and understanding of the podcast that goes into their personnel file. Limit exposure for law suites, and quickly identify talent areas of opportunity.
This is our initial podcast and I hope you like it as it is built for you, the Professional Admissions Representative. Regardless of what your college provides this is the podcast for all of us. Give it a listen and share with other professionals, and your team. I would love to have anyone who wishes to be a guest on the podcast to reach out to me at TheStandUpPodcast.Questions@gmail.com. Or if you are less inclined just send an email with topics you want to hear on your show. So lets get the Conversation Started!
