This episode is clear and honest but will not be popular with everyone - the truth is too often not very popular. After all, great leadership often requires hard choices, difficult information, and, most of all, social courage.
That being said, here is my perspective on this situation based upon my scientific training and experience, business training and experience, and over 30,000 hours on stage in front of many hundreds of thousands of people for over 31 years, and my life-long leadership experience.
