Following the passing of their 13 month old daughter, Avery, Cathy Decker worked through her grief one day at a time. During Cathy's grief journey she was gifted some items by another mother who had also lost a daughter. From this, Avery's Legacy was founded. A personal bereavement box that can be sent to support a grieving heart after loss.

Following the birth of his daughter, Christopher Rose-Banks began to feel anxious and irritable with noises around the house. When his wife, Lisette, was diagnosed with postpartum depression (PPD) it was brought to his attention that perhaps he was dealing with paternal postpartum depression. Robyn is a Holistic Nutrition consultant and trainer in Southern Alberta. Where after finding her passion for working out, Robyn began her own healing journey with the understanding that fitness is an important tool for those dealing with mental health and self-worth issues. Not only is she mindful of her own mental health while using social media she has seen first hand the negative and positive part of using social media in our daily lives from her previous work with youth.

Following the passing of his past partner Jill to suicide, Austin Hager knew he wanted to complete a thru hike while raising awareness for Mental Health. Being drawn to the Canadian Rockies he chose the Great Divide Trail (GDT) and created his fundraiser, Hike4Hope. He is logging hiked kilometers through 2021 while raising funds to donate to the Canadian Association of Suicide Prevention (CASP). Austin chose CASP to donate to as he was drawn to the policies and streamline approach they are using in Suicide Prevention.

Jennifer Diotte is a Jennifer is a Registered Clinical Counsellor through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Jennifer is the owner and Senior Counsellor of ProMentality Performance and Wellness in British Columbia's Fraser Valley. Within her practice there are many options she offers to her clients including traditional in office counselling, walk and talks and various programs to assist in one's mental health. ProMentality is also within 2 High Schools in the Fraser Valley assisting with providing Youth accessible counselling. In this episode we discuss what ProMentality can offer to those seeking assistance with many facets of their mental health.
In September of 2020, at the age of 26, Brook Morrison, passed away by suicide following a seven year battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression following his father's suicide in 2013. Following his passing the Morrison family envisioned a way to proactively battle the Mental Health crisis that is being seen today. The BeMorr Society was founded in January of 2021 and they began financially assisting those who need Mental Health counselling but could not afford it. Throughout this episode you will hear about Brook Morrison, the mission and values of the Society and what their plans are for the future.
