The Terry Dwayne Ashford TalkShow

Terry Dwayne Ashford’s exciting life as a journalist. Terry is a prior News Reporter for the “Daily World” in Atlanta GA, and completed a print journalism internship under the amazing mentor, Alexis Scott, the owner for the Daily World in Atlanta, the oldest newspaper in the south. He was also a news reporter for the Southern Voice, the Washington and Baltimore Afro-American, enjoying professional relationships with the Murphy family business and then on to the Montgomery and Prince Georges County Gazette.
Terry Ashford also worked as editorial staff for the Fairfax and Arlington Journal (currently the Washington Post Express Newspaper), and as a writer for the (BE) Black Engineering Magazine.
Prior to relocating to the Washington, D.C. Area, Terry Ashford shadowed ABC News Broadcaster Monica Kaufman at WSB-TV station in Buckhead, Atlanta GA, as a broadcaster then reported at the “Signal” and the GSTV television. He was also assistant programming director at GSU radio, as well as the associate editor of columns and opinions sections of the GSU “Signal” Newspaper.
Upon relocating to the Washington, D.C. Area, Terry placed primary focus on technical writing, which led him into the lucrative market of federal proposals and proposal management.
In the DC markets, Terry has written professionally for Dell computers, ICMA-RC, Sprint-Nextel and WSSC Sanitary Inc, and others in technical, SOP, and proposal correspondence areas. Terry Dwayne Ashford has been a Distinguished in many disciplines prior to relocating to Washington, D.C. and did not expect that to change upon relocating to the nation’s Capitol, a then-predominantly African American city which he thought would love ❤️ amazingly ambitious professional journalism.
