Continuing our series entitled "One Thing", Pastor Brad Kahler uses the story of the rich young ruler in Luke 18 to challenge us to search our hearts for what we hold as treasure. Even though the rich young ruler did everything right, one thing was missing, and Jesus pointed this out to him. Not only must we see that the Lord is the one thing we seek, we also need to recognize that our hearts are the treasure that God seeks.
Continuing our new series, “One Thing”, Pastor Brad Kahler taught this week on the one thing we are: children of God. God wants to restore us to the extravagance of our relationship with him, but to do that we must forget the past and fasten our hearts to the future. This important truth sets us free from all other names and labels we have carried. We are one thing: children of God.

In this second message in our sermon series "Grateful for..." Pastor Brad Kahler encourages us how we can be grateful for our present. Searching for areas where we can express gratitude to the Lord, even in the face of difficult situations; helps us take full advantage of our present, which ultimately transforms our future.
The title for our new series is "Grateful For." It may seem like an incomplete sentence, but each week we will finish it with "My Past," "My Present," and "My Future." This week Pastor Brad's message discussed "My Past."
"You’re surrounded!” could be a statement of either danger or safety. That duality is just what Pastor Brad talked about this past weekend as we concluded our "Pick Your Battles" series. He shared how we can see God in our situation whenever we are surrounded by opposition and believe that God will exceed our expectations in the end.
