Hello! I am Donda Hayes-Cordova. Buckle Dreams started out as a dream for me. I have sat in the shadows for many years seeing the western world and rodeo taken lightly. So I decided to do my part in making rodeo a part of the conversation.
Rodeo is a sport. A sport with athletes and wonderful people that love animals and each other.
It is time for people in the world to stand up and notice rodeo has changed and become a thriving industry. It is time for kids to realize that their heroes are normal people with dreams and ambitions.
I hope you enjoy the journey into the minds of cowboys and cowgirls from their perspective and let’s all do our part in recognizing rodeo for what it is. A sport with great people.
Rope Myers, a talented cowboy, family man, and mentor enlightens us on rodeo as a family sport, what he believes Rodeo can become, true greatness and so much more. His buckle dreams involve so much more than himself, they expand to the next generation. This inspirational 9 time NFR qualifier and World Champion is truly a voice to be heard.
5-time NFR qualifier, Heith "Danger" Demoss takes the time to visit with us about family, preparation, growing the sport of rodeo and much more. Light-hearted and most definitely humble, Heith still occasionally rides one of his first bronc saddles and cherishes his 1999 Champion Dummy Roping Buckle. With Buckle Dreams and a positive attitude, we look forward to a wide open future for this great cowboy.
