Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The weapon of choice for regressives to hate today is the AR-15 rifle. The problem is that it is nothing more than an ordinary sporting rifle used by most Americans for self-defense and hunting. While they look menacing, it’s only because they are dressed up to look like assault rifles. But they’re not. The AR in AR-15 does not stand for Assault Rifle, it stands for Armalite Rifle and fires the smallest caliber commonly fired by any rifle. No military on the planet has ever used an AR-15 in combat. It is NOT a military weapon. President Clinton engineered a ban on so-called assault weapons in 1994. Ten years later, the DOJ did an extensive study that indicated there is no evidence that the ban saved even a single life. For conservatives, it’s not truth over facts, it is truth and facts - especially when it comes to guns.
