The NHL is now under a Covid lockdown. Following a week of team shutdowns, the league is now instituting a league-wide shutdown from December 22nd to 26th. The Rangers currently only have one positive case so hopefully, it ends there, and the shutdown with help the rest of the league get their positives under control. We are joined this week by former New York Ranger and German hockey legend John Tripp. John had quite the journey to the NHL, grinding it out for six and half years in the minors before making his NHL debut with the Rangers. After 7 professional seasons in North America, including 43 NHL games, John left to play in Germany. Tripp would become a German hockey legend, playing 12 seasons in the German leagues, he represented Germany in over 110 international games, including 6 World Championships and the 2010 Olympics.
