The name comes from recovery literature, “...you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the road of Happy Destiny.” And I have met many amazing angels along the way who’ve given me many blessings to pass along, in disguise or not. With the move to Washington state my parents lost me until adulthood. I didn’t believe in their power any longer and I certainly didn’t trust their choices. An amazing side effect was I also didn’t believe anyone else had power over me. Definitely a gift that has two sides. And, I’m not saying I didn’t give my own power away occasionally.
