Abandon hope, all ye who listen. Run while you still can. Seriously though, this episode is terrible and I hate it and I hate you, listener. Also, we ran into UNFORTUNATE MISHAPS during the editing process and...the last third of the episode vanished. Due to time constraints from all of us, we couldn't re-record that last third, but all questions answered this week that don't appear on this episode will be re-answered next week. Not much of value was lost save for us mentioning that RahXephon won't be watched for JAAP any longer because we are terrible people.

Greg is still dead and there's nothing to do about it without some dough. We gush over how much we all love Tonari no Seki-kun and talk about our favourite character albums and Anime OSTs. Another bland-sounding Light Novel adaptation get discussed and Tobiichi picks all the wrong shows to name recognizable voice actors from. Also, what the hell happened in Mikakunin this week!? We take responsibility for nothing.
JAAP returns from the ether after a week and a half with Jon taking center stage as the only one who actually watched everything, while Tobiichi and Rex manage to bullshit their way through Hunter X Hunter despite not having seen the show. Sit back and enjoy as Jon talks about his newfound obsession with Muv Luv and Rex gets racist. It's JAAP Episode 82: The episode that never ends.
This week, Rex and Tobiichi have died (it's only temporary, they'll be revived next week) and left Jon and Greg to fend for themselves. What kind of wacky hijinks do they get up to? They...actually stay on track. Jon gets revved up about Build Fighters and both hosts get really, really upset by that foolish Nobunaga dubstep show, but are immediately cheered up by the other Nobunaga show with the cool name and guns. Nobunaga should really just join JAAP as a co-host at this point.
This week, Cliffy B has escaped! The JAAP crew doesn't venture off to recapture him because they're too busy getting upset by incest shows and Nobunaga's dubstep robots and they need to podcast about it for your sick pleasure. Elsewhere, Rex wins the fight of the century™ and Tobiichi is crowned the Macaulay Culkin of Sweden while Jon disappoints Greg more than anyone ever should because Greg has the best taste and we should all praise his being and help him become the new assistant to the king of Egypt. In this 10% special episode of JAAP, Rex Wolff joins the show as a full co-host and Jon gets elected Best Person of 2014 by Time Magazine despite the fact that he probably likes meth. Everyone talks about just how stupid it is to phone random numbers scrawled on bathroom doors, and Greg and Jon subject themselves to a Shitty Fate. All this and more on the world's least entertaining podcast brought to you by two Americans and a South African.
Without 905's guiding light, Greg and Jon are left to stumble around in the dark and talk about Twitter or something because they forget it's an anime podcast for a little while. Greg manages to say a few words about Gundam with the latest episode being "the one with the stupid suits" and they chat about Samurai Flamenco's recent plot twists. It's all OK though, for they get right into the spirit of Christmas and discover how the holiday can become sexier than ever.
Hitting upon the realization that they really want more money, Greg and Jon launch the latest Kickstarter sensation where you can give them money and they'll both fly to America to buy all of the 10 videogames in existence. They also discover that there is no symbolism in anime quite like butts made of fruit, and Jon makes deep, passionate love to Gundam Build Fighters. And finally you, the listener will become Nicolas Cage as you fight to uncover the National Treasure of JAAP.

Beginning by killing a co-host, Jon shows that all he wants is for everyone in anime to die for his amusement, especially everyone in Non Non Biyori. Greg and Jon lament how bad England is in Infinite Stratos and they both relearn the worlds most important lesson: America always wins.
Greg’s back this week, but still in Japan, phoning in early in the morning to talk about his experiences. Michael and Jon ask him about his trip, learning what shows are popular in Japan at the moment, and that apparently Joshiraku makes for a good travel itinerary. The group then move into the weekly watch, trying to figure out just what happened in Samurai Flamenco this week.
This week sees Michael and Jon left to their own devices as Greg explores the forbidden wilderness known as Japan. What do the two spend their time talking about? Surprisingly, not just about Gundam Build Fighters, as the two actually prove they can talk about more than giant killing machines and have actual discussion about romance shows. Then, the crew tackles the daunting task of ranking the outfits of the Joshiraku cast.
As Greg prepares to leave the podcast and his country for two weeks, Michael and Jon talk about Build Fighters while gearing up to talk even more about Build Fighters while Greg's gone because absolutely no one can stop them. Elsewhere, robots are talked about in further detail as Jon gets asked yet another ultimate question: Which Mobile Suit would he have sex with? Nobell strictly forbidden.
On this apparently most herbaceous of episodes, the hosts seem to have some confusion over controlled substances and sexual acts. They discuss their favorite McDonald's in anime, their favorite OPs and EDs, and learn that Scooby-Doo can do whatever and whoever he pleases.

This week's JAAP is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Things get eccentric as the hosts discuss characters that ruined shows for them. Later on, Jon and Michael say things that are technical words and may be related to Gundam while Greg tries to stop time to visit an adult preschool.
As the season trudges on, the JAAP hosts start seperating the wheat from the chaff by dropping shows. They say "see you later" to Nagi no Asukara, let the wheel of fate keep turning on BlazBlue, make the choice to say "no" to Noucome, and more. The group gushes about this season's Noitamina offerings, try and make sense out of Tokyo Ravens, and learn, once again, that few things on this world rival a girl's love for cake. Discussions end with talk of an industry saturated by Jeff Goldblum and attempts to say "Goldthwait."
Saddle up for another episode of Just Another Anime Podcast! This week sees our hosts reunited with Jon White as they talk about the numerous first episodes from this season. The group uncovers the conspiracy to put Hanakana and CG into everything, debate over whether the inclusion of Patrick Stewart is a net positive for the medium, and marvel that the industry has finally given them what they always wanted: a yuri horse harem show.
The fall 2013 season begins with the JAAP crew welcoming on guest co-host Jon White. The group tackles airing shows, both old and new, taking stances on what finales met expectations and which ones flopped. They then move on to a preview of the upcoming shows, laying out a schedule for the coming 14 weeks, sometimes realizing they have no logical explanation for what shows appeal to them. The podcast concludes with the group discovering a Dracula-themed VN and playing erotic madlibs with pepper shakers.
Tobiichi reclaims her hosting seat and leads the crew into discussion about every show watched this season. Relive the horror of Blood Lad, try and comprehend the plot of Day Break Illusion, listen to more talk about Love Lab and The Eccentric Family than is recommended by the FDA, and remember that, yes, Mushibugyou was a thing that Marhsall watched for more than one season. Awards are given out and conversation becomes heated as this season of anime draws to a close.
Breakthroughs are made this week as Michael finds his true calling in radio and Greg finally admits to liking bad things. The two discuss the anime that have been most influential to them, offering an insight to their creative tendencies and personal lives. Blood lad gets blasted, Monogatari is gushed over, and The Eccentric Family's future is pondered. Later on, the duo try to ascertain the average size of a goo girl's vagina, but have enough moral standards to not discuss their pasta penes (penne?). All this and more on Just Another Anime Podcast, the official drink of those with palettes slightly too refined for piss.
Feeling the cold chill of the end of the season, Gregory and Michael are joined by special guest Jeremy Newton. They discuss what got Jeremy into anime, his favorite and least favorite shows, and get to talk about some shows not often spoken of in JAAP’s hallowed halls. Join our heroes as they talk about what makes a show a “yuri show,” the nature of endings, and whether or not the kidnapping of one’s proxy body counts as the kidnapping of one’s self.
This episode of JAAP sees Greg and Michael pondering the continued future of Joshiraku while discussing their favorite comedies. The two take the time to argue semantics and discuss the categorization of characters while offending everyone who has managed to listen through 60 episodes of bread fucking. Older shows are revisited as the season winds down and the show takes pride in surpassing the population density of Tokyo.
Stranded without Tobiichi for the rest of the season, Greg and Michael are forced to find companionship in the arms of moshi body pillows. Braving the news of a third season of Teekyuu, the two discuss their favorite and least favorite drama series, learn about manba fashion, and try to figure out what Sunday Without God is trying to do with itself. Chaos ensues as the dynamic duo unravel the mysteries of the Dog of Dracula series, divulge the secrets of Marshall Henderson's alter-ego of Beardonetta, and lay out plans for an Austin Powers anime.
With Tobiichi out on sick-leave, Greg and Michael are left with a criminally short weekly watch. To make up for it, the two resort to good old-fashioned industry talk, forgetting Nicholas Cage films, and deciphering the logistics of dog heaven.
A restructuring of the Weekly Watch breeds new discussion among our three hosts as they tackle a week that was missing a good number of shows. Heavily stylized visual novels are discussed and laughed at as episode 58 of Just Another Anime Podcast leaps into battle.
In their dogged pursuit of anime truth, Just Another Anime Podcast has returned for the 57th episode. The crew learns that, if their bloodline is to survive, they require the appropriate masks, that a Sunday without God is no Sunday at all, and that, before you put a ring on it, maybe you should confirm whether it has fingers after all. It’s the 52nd week of the series, and as we move into our next year of shenanigans, antics, hijinks, and sexual tension, we bid farewell to last season’s final few shows, including HenNeko, ICP the Anime, Aku no Hana and more. At the same time, the summer season kicks off with a whole slew of new shews for the Dew crew. We remember Brendan Fraser’s career fondly, and then bury him with the rest of the dead. Season Four Starts! With Just Another Musical behind us and Greg back to join us for the Summer Season Preview that kicks off this week (and ends next week) the fourth season of JAAP hit the ground running and wraps up some of the series finales of Spring Season, such as Aiura, Red Data Girl and Yuyushiki.

The crew talk about the Nyarko-san Magical Girl OVA and finally we vote on the next Retro Segment series. It's JAAP covered in toothpaste... Well, probably toothpaste.
We did it. #WeFreedMarshall. With him back we "discuss" if Gargantia devolved into fan-service this week (Spoiler: Nope) and talk about the piece on the topic written by Otakusphere. Shows are dropped and picked back up and Greg orders anime during the recording. We know we are hero, in our lives.

It's here, it's finally here. The season 3 of Just Another Anime Podcast kicks off with the old trio of hosts kicking into gear along with new co-host Michael Carey.
