There's another level that God can tap into when we fast from things we need, not just things we "want to give up".
The power of agreement.
Becoming Involved:
- Information (Joshua Project; international news source, books, podcasts, Perspectives, books—ask Greg for recommendations)
- Intercession—prayer walk, have a list of people that any time you encounter a promise God makes you plead it for them
- Involvement (ELL, teaching citizenship, hosting international students who came to the Great Give Away)
- Integration—let it touch your life; getting it into your wallet and your living room
- Investigation—ask the hard question, “What about me, Lord, where do you want me to go?”
The church that meets in our buildings on Saturday joins us to say thank you and share in some good news of bringing people to Christ. Then Jon McPeters shares a video https://youtu.be/1Ph30WlScRs and encourages us to join a prayer walk.
Greg facilitates a panel with Justin, Ben, Seth, Jon on examples from their grassroot mission work. Listen to stories that aren't particularly anything special, then watch how God turns them into something special. Reaching unbelievers and create friendships, not just a convert and moving on.

Proverbs 14:31 “He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.” As we care for the poor, the needy, the oppressed, we are walking out who our Creator intended us to be and bring Him honor!
