Crew Leaders, both Online and In-Person, we will publish a Crew leader devotion each morning of VBS. This will equip and encourage you to be intentional in helping your crew have a great week at VBS. We are so excited for what God can do in each of you and in your families. You are treasured.

What are you Pondering? We know that Christmas is a season filled with memories, longings, joys, and even struggles. We want your experience to be a refreshing blessing to you and your loved ones.
Life does not always go as planned. How do you find hope when you cannot see the future?

The Story of the lost sheep is a story Jesus told to people just like us to change our perspective about the Kingdom of God and to help people more clearly see the love of a Savior.
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Anything of value built in the Kingdom is built on the cornerstone of Jesus. What is the cornerstone of your identity?
In the life of a believer, there is room for I can't forgive, but there is no room for I won"t forgive. Let's consider the path of forgiveness that allows us to arrive at undescribable peace and freedom - let's forgive.
God provides, we steward. Followers of Christ are Intentional in Stewarding all that God has Entrusted.
As followers of Christ, We build Each Other Up. How is this lived out day to day in our lives?
Scripture tells us to "serve one another in love", what would this look like in our lives?
Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind; love your neighbor as yourself. We offer hospitality out of love.
The Bible is one big story and the journey you take through the story impacts the view you get of the story.
Am I under the influence of the Holy Spirit? What does life look like living in the reality of the Trinity? How does the Holy Spirit dwell in me?
Who is the Holy Spirit, and how did believers in the early church experience and understand the Gift of the Holy Spirit? How do we experience and receive the Gift today?
When Jesus sets me free I have power over the struggle, God's presence is with me and I am free to accomplish God's will.
Christ Followers never give up, battle well, carry Good News, rely on God's power, are being renewed, walk in power.

We are often distracted by our circumstances but God sees our need for His strength, safety, comfort, and courage.
Is it possible that the work is the reward? Is it possible that the prize is on the process? Is it possible to be grateful in the grind?
We cannot give what we have not received. When Christ enters us, everything that is possible for Christ becomes possible for us.
When We Know Who We Are In Him and Believe that What He's Provided is Enough, We become Bold and Generous in All We Do.

On January 6th, we will be kicking off 2019 with a series called "Center". We are excited about this series, as we discuss how God desires to be the "Center" of all. As part of this series, we are inviting the entire church body to participate in a 21 day fast that starts on January 7th and ends on Jan 27th (the final Sunday of the series). What a great way to kick off a new year!

The goal of fasting is to draw nearer to God. Biblical fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. It also enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God and prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives.

In this series, we compile questions submitted by our church body and address them during each week of the series. We seek to encourage one another in an authentic pursuit of knowing God. If we don't know the answer we will tell you we don't know. If God addresses the issue we will do our best to point only to what God says. Here are some sample questions to get you thinking. Why are there different versions of the Bible? Just want to invite you to our upcoming service on May 14th. We're calling it "ONE BIG SUNDAY!" I am incredibly excited about this service and all that is going to take place that day. You won't want to miss being there. We will be baptizing a number of people and listening to their testimonies….PRAISE GOD! In addition, we will be celebrating all that God has done, all He is doing…and all He is going to do in and through MFMC. We'll also be sharing where we believe God is leading us and the importance each person plays.
Please pray for this day, block this date on your calendar, and do everything you can do to attend. You won't be disappointed.

As we prepare for Easter Sunday we remember when Jesus entered the city and the crowds gathered expecting Jesus to be part of a political solution when in fact Jesus was instead the solution to all that is needed.

I want to be close to God at school but I am afraid that people will judge me because of my faith. What do I do?

Blastus was selfish, Crispus was not. Be like Crispus, not like Blastus. Being selfless is a super natural attribute that changes the atmosphere for good.

The echo of Easter offered us the gift of access to God through Jesus Christ. Access means intimacy, not just benefit.
Eternal Hope is an indication of certainty, a strong and confident expectation of what we believe to be sure.
The miracle effect of the resurrection can still roll stones away that hinder our lives today
The miracle of the Exodus shows us that God not only wants to free us from something, God wants to free us for something.
The goal of a relationship is not to recreate a feeling we once had. The goal of a relationship is to recreate and reflect the love of God.
Favor is the promise of God's presence, accomplishing His purpose in and through your life
You can live as a child of God now, you can live in the confidence of being named by God, in the safety of being forgiven by God and in the sure and certain hope of always being with God.
Complaining is anytime we tell our own story with no intention of bringing praise to God
Believers who are being made New are being transformed to speak encouragement. Ephesians 4:29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
Believers Believe. We celebrate communion and remember the work of Jesus our Lord giving himself to take our sins - we believe
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen
God has provided us with guardrails of belief that guide and protect us during any new start.
Life is filled with new starting points. When we make a new start it is important to know what matters most.
