In this striking conversation with Barbara Loe Fisher we speak about the history of vaccine policy in the United States as well as the implications of informed consent and what this means for us all.

Barbara Loe Fisher is co-founder and president of the non-profit National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC.org), a U.S. charity established in 1982 by parents of DPT vaccine injured children to prevent vaccine injuries and deaths through public education and defend the ethical principle of informed consent to medical risk taking. Barbara worked to secure vaccine safety and research provisions in the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 and has testified in Congress and state legislatures. She is co-author of the seminal 1985 book DPT: A Shot in the Dark, founding executive editor of the online journal newspaper The Vaccine Reaction, and a video blog commentator.

For more than two decades, Barbara served as a consumer member on vaccine advisory committees at the CDC and FDA and vaccine safety public engagement projects sponsored by federal agencies and the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences. She has coordinated six international public conferences on vaccination, including the Fifth International Public Conference on Vaccination: Protecting Health and Autonomy in the 21st Century held online in 2020.

One of the world's leading non-medical experts on vaccine science, policy, law and ethics, she has been quoted in numerous print and broadcast news reports. Between 1985 and 2015, she debated more doctors on the subject of vaccination than any other American. A natural rights activist defending the informed consent ethic and freedom of thought, speech and conscience, she was featured in the 2011 documentary The Greater Good, the 2020 movie 1986: The Act, and a two hour conversation on "Highwire" in January 2024 to set the record straight about the history of the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.

The mother of three children and a grandmother, her oldest son suffered a brain inflammation and encephalopathy within hours of his fourth DPT shot in 1980 when he was two and a half years old and was confined to a special education classroom throughout his public school education.

In this episode we have a fun and engaging conversation with Roberto Monaco about his journey into health through artful communication as well as his own touching personal story with chiropractic.

Roberto Monaco didn't learn storytelling and the science of influence in a classroom. He learned them during one of the most challenging seasons of his life. After leaving a corporate finance job in Brazil in search of greater purpose, he found himself in the U.S., working as a field speaker for the Anthony Robbins Companies. The job? Book talks. Deliver them. And close high-ticket sales on 100% commission.

But in those early months, Roberto struggled. Despite enthusiastic feedback, he couldn't close. Stressed and frustrated, he hit a breaking point—one that landed him in the hospital with unexplained pain. The diagnosis: stress. The real cause? A belief that he loved speaking… but hated selling. That moment sparked a complete transformation. He didn't just shift his mindset from "selling" to "serving." He dove into everything he could find on psychology, persuasion, public speaking, and influence. One pattern became clear: the most powerful communicators didn't rely on knowledge or experience alone. They combined compelling personal stories, social influence strategies, and confident, intentional delivery. They knew how to capture attention, build trust, and ethically move people to take action. Roberto began applying these principles in every talk—and the results spoke for themselves. His audience engagement deepened. His confidence soared. And his conversions took off. He soon became the #1 speaker for Tony Robbins and was invited to hire and train other speakers for the company. As his impact grew, so did his methodology. Roberto refined his approach into a repeatable system. In 2009, he partnered with Jeff Paro to co-found InfluenceOlogy—a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, executives, experts, and coaches master the art and science of ethical influence. Today, Roberto has delivered over 4,500 presentations, coached more than 15,000 hours, and trained leaders in over 45 industries. His mission is simple: to help people turn their message into their most powerful tool for impact, income, and influence.

His work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed research articles exploring chiropractic's role in supporting children with ADHD, autism, seizures, and other neurodevelopmental challenges. But beyond the credentials, Dr. Anthony's mission is simple: to bring hope, healing, and clarity to families who've been searching for answers. In this episode we'll be speaking with Dr. Pam Jarboe about how to build emotional courage.

Dr. Pam Jarboe practices chiropractic in Acton MA. Her career blossomed when she worked as an assistant for a chiropractor in 1986.  She soon traveled into Hale House in Harlem, NY with her chiropractor.  He began adjusting children who were drug addicted. Some of these poor children, born with AIDS, were abandoned as babies. They suffered greatly with many health issues as well as emotional problems. As they received adjustments, Pam witnessed them transform. They suddenly had less disease, less trauma. They transitioned from hiding under the beds, being terrified to be touched to jumping into her arms. Inspired by the many changes she witnessed in this practice, especially in children, she decided to attend Life Chiropractic University. She graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1995.

Today we'll be speaking with Sara Banta about nourishing your child's health. We'll hear Sara's own story into how she was able to help her children heal themselves of a variety of ailments through particular nutritional methods, as well as hear about some great ways to stay healthy in general.

Sara is a Health Coach and busy mother of three who are now 12, 15 and 16 years old. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University with a degree in Economics and Psychology in 1998. In 2016, she graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and The Invincible Wellness System.

Through her journey, she has had to solve many health issues within her family including her son suffering from leukemia at the age of nine, her daughter having allergies, anemia and asthma, her husband having heart issues, her other daughter having comprehension and learning issues, in addition to headaches. This of course is on top of her own issues with fertility, hormones, adult acne, IBS, digestive issues, heavy metals and much more. She has had to connect the dots and realize what was causing all of these issues and what the solutions were, which also of course involved the mind body connection. A lot of the same solutions that heal the gut or the brain are the solutions that help achieve weight loss, improve fitness and restore metabolic health. With that, she has devoted her life to providing guidance and all natural health supplements and solutions that heal the body and the root problems, not just addressing the symptoms.
