--- TRANSCRIPT EXCERPT the the time when the world crashed for you, right? in Covid. So did, did Jenny kind of help you through that? Cause I think you were going there a little bit or was it just the fact that the market turned and like we all came out of this smooth cuz like you said, you know, dealing with like, and I'm just gonna say this right now because like within our business right now, it's really, really hard and I see a lot of other, my friends thriving incredibly, right? especially like today, like our friend we were just talking about, you know, he's in like the remodel business of and do ti stuff and he's like, I have more shit than I didn't even know what to do with. And we're over here going, uh, right. So like from a mental health capacity, like there's days for sure when I'm like, dude, I don't even wanna get outta bed, come in right now. Right. But isn't that why you created Bison Ventures? Like, head into the storm, let's do this. We're into the storm, but it in where we're stuck in it right now, , hey. And, and, and when it is affecting so many different people, and this is like, this is like something that, like the people have been in the business for 20 years, haven't seen, um, and, or I shouldn't say 20 years cause obviously they saw the uh, oh eight, but for a long time. So I guess I'm just getting back to the question. It's like, what did you do? Like, how did it or just kind of work its way out? You know what it was, uh, I realized that managing remote, I'm terrible at that. Um, I realized that I'm a people person, um, and I wasn't getting a whole lot of that. Um, I started drinking early in the day. I was taking like two naps, which was not like me. Right. Although I, if you gave me the green light to drink early in the day, I'd do it, but I I'm, but not that Tuesday. Yeah. Yeah. But correct. Um, and it was just, it was really hard cuz every deal that I was working on just stalled and I'm concerned about my team, you know, there's the discussions on Furloughing or are we gonna let people go? And it was just kind of a, it was just a hard time, um, kind of a gut punch where I was just kinda like, Hey, I've worked really hard to try to do this Right. Like, why, why are you out to get me and so many other people? But that was my mentality to, you know, the big guy upstairs. Um, so it was tough. I, I, uh, I went into some like, pretty gnarly depression, um, started dealing with like anxiety, like some mood swings kind of deal. And thank God for my wife. I mean, she's the glue that kept everything together. Like when she would start to loose and I'm like, Hey honey, this is not good. Like, you you are the person Yeah. You are the person that keeps this whole thing together. And then not to mention having like a four-year-old and a six-year-old sitting at, you know, in your small home and you're sitting there trying to do zooms and try to salvage your deals. Yeah. I mean, like, I remember one time, like stellar dad moment, I'm like screaming at my son. Sue's six years old, taking a math class, being like, I don't get this. I was like, I'm not a fucking teacher. My, my wife's like, what is going on? I was like, how do you want me, like, what do you expect me to do? Like, let me go do this. Like, yeah. So anyways, um, we made it through it. And, and when, um, the blessing, um, that happened was in June right when everything started going bonkers, there was a camp called the Beginner's Ed Sports Training, best sports camp. And, uh, they, they said, Hey, we're gonna open this up for kids. So we dropped our kids off and we went to work all day and our office was officially closed at Cressa. And I was like, well, if nobody's there, I'm gonna go in. And just being able to get back in the rhythm of work and not being stuck in my bedroom for 18 hours a day. Yeah. It just, it changed, it started to change that. And also therapy and, you know, um, you know, drugs.

BRIGADE FMX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAWmq... 💥Brigade FMX Team 💥 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syvd3... TRANSCRIPT EXCERPTS It's right on the New Mexico border, past Show Low. You leave Show Low, go 50 miles east, that's where it is, high desert, painted desert style terrain. Of course, that's how I got into motocross. There's nothing to do in a small town, except ride dirt bikes, play sports in the school, and hunting, too, of course. Well, for a majority of it. Part of it, he coached briefly as an assistant, first got out of college, went to NAU, graduated, came down here, coached at Apache Junction High School for a little bit, Mesa High School. I think this was over the course of a year max, maybe. Then, he moved to Ganado, which is on the Navajo Reservation. To take traditionally Navajo people, they're really not into school sports, but he built a solid football program there. They beat and event went to the playoffs, first res school to ever go into the playoffs in the history of Arizona's high school sports. Oh, yeah, for sure. Not just me, but I mean, the whole town is that way. Me and my buddies, all of my crew of friends, third, fourth grade, we found a warehouse that one of my friends' dads owned. Well, it was full of junk. He'd never gone through it. We went through it and we found a ton of football gear, like old stuff from the '70s, like the single bar facing type gear, all for kids. We just did our own games. We all divvied up the gear and would go out. I actually knocked my front tooth out when I was in fourth grade, no mouth piece, nothing. Yeah, we just organized our own football games. Yeah. Tough people live there, farmers live there, a lot of farm industry, bigger Mormon families. They have 10-plus kids and they all farm and they're all tough as nails. Yeah, we'd come down here and play bigger schools and beat them. It would be a shock to them, "Where'd you guys come from?" My senior year, we were supposed to come down here and get destroyed. There was a Phoenix Christian high school. It's a smaller school, but they pull from all these other surrounding schools. If you're a top athlete doing another school and you're not getting treated fairly, you go to PC and you play. I think they have seven or eight kids go D1. There you go. They were supposed to destroy us. I mean, I walked out on the field and I'm like, "This is a college team." We ended up beating them 29 to 6, I think was the final score. It was all over the papers, like, "Who are these kids from nowhere that are tiny, but fast, and just destroyed this team that should've walked to the state championship?" I mean, the coaching that came from such a small town there, if you carry those things over in life you learn then, I mean, you can't not be successful. I've succeeded in everything in my life literally because of those people. The way David does things is innovative and it's new. That, coupled with 72SOLD method, it just produces. I mean, they're new guys doing ... We've got one new kid, Ari. He's not even 20, I don't think, yet. Maybe he's 20. I think he just sold 12 units last month.

Everybody talks about the importance of authenticity and vulnerability in building relationships, but how many are REALLY walking the walk? Too few.

But she is - Crystle Mulzet, leader of the INSPIRE Team at Chicago Title, puts herself out there like no other Business Development Manager in the business. Most of us have plenty of cringe-worthy memories that we’ve packaged up and placed in the “Top Secret – Never Reveal” section of our minds and for some, that tactic seems to work (until it doesn’t).

Crystle, on the other hand, has chosen to live her life out loud with great intention and (sometimes painful) honesty, and it's definitely working for her. Years sober and crushing it in the Title and Escrow world, she is an inspiration!

On this episode of Real Talk, Crystle gets real on several topics, including:

• Growing up with alcoholic parents

• Starting her sobriety journey and falling off the wagon

• The Evolution of Self

• Bereavement and guilt

• Chicago Title Agency/INSPIRE Team

• #1 REALTOR activity to generate business – social media

We can recall listening to our parents’ precision-like recants of the JFK and MLK assassinations, the first moon landing, Nixon’s resignation, etc., We Gen Xers (and older Millennials) have our own set of horrific developments, but none so prolific as that of September 11, 2001.

On this episode of Real Talk, 9/11 Survivor Danny Brown got real on several topics, including:

• His training program at The World Trade Center

• The mass exodus in the stairwell

• Running for his life
