Naomi McCarthy (née Castle) - Naomi McCarthy (née Castle) made history as part of the first women’s water polo team to ever win OLYmpic gold. Women’s water polo was introduced to the Games in 2000, and in this episode, Naomi tells how she and her Aussie Stingers teammate Yvette Higgins stole the gold from the USA in the final two minutes of the game!
Naomi talks about the intense week of competition, as well as the aftermath: everyone including the coach jumped (or was pulled!) into the pool, and Naomi spent the rest of the Games celebrating in Sydney and supporting her fellow Aussie athletes who were still to compete. Nat tells Naomi that watching the Stingers win gold from her Bondi hotel room inspired her to do the same with her beach volleyball partner Kerri Pottharst the following day.

OPENING CEREMONY - July 24 2020
Today marks what would have been the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and without knowing who Australia's Flag Bearer would be, Nat Cook saw the opportunity to call on Australian Olympian, Anna Meares - An Australian Cyclist and Rio 2016 Olympic Flag Bearer.
