The Podcasts at Shady Grove is a collection of podcasts by members of the Universities at Shady Grove community curated to provide a showcase of the services and people you'll come across here on our campus. Each episode will have a different theme, different content, and even different hosts and guests with the unifying goal of providing insight that will help you maximize your life at USG.
In episode three, Jessica Diaz Council, ACES Success Coordinator with the Center for Recruitment and Transfer Access (CRTA) at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) and Terre Thomas, ACES High School Coach at Clarksburg High School, come together to have a candid conversation about the bare bones of financial literacy. We touch on topics such as savings, budgeting, and getting out of debt in order to be financially free.

In episode one, the CommUNITY Book Club will explore aspects of African American History through the "Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl" by Harriet Jacobs. This book is one of the few accounts written by a female who was a slave.
