What does it mean to be “Baptized with the Holy Spirit?” Is this experience for us today or has it passed away? We can be certain that God wants every believer to live a Spirit-filled life of power for witness because the Bible tells us so.
Unfortunately, many people automatically believe everything that happens to them is from God, and that He controls everything. Their reasoning is that God is sovereign and causes everything; the good, bad, and the ugly. They just assume He controls everything and is behind ALL that happens in their lives. Even unbelievers subscribe to this thinking. There are many Christians who promote this fatalistic doctrine and it’s ingrained in their lives. God has expressly assigned the angelic hosts to wait at the direction of the sons and daughters of God. They are on assignment to minister for the heirs of salvation. The expression, “Lord of Hosts,” occurs at least 200 times, especially in the Old Testament. The Lord of Hosts overrules fallen angels despite their animosity and opposition. Angels, however, who are obedient to the Lord, are present to accomplish the purposes of God through us and with us, His redeemed people.
The people of God must not compromise or cave in the face of the fear and intimidation that dominate the world. Cowardice is completely antithetical to Christian living. Christ-followers should find courage and confidence in the truth of God’s Word and be empowered by His Spirit!
The foundation of a godly goal is this: It must be centered on God’s plan. We can get excited about our goals, but for those plans to be godly, we need to go back to the basics and ask, “Lord, are these goals focused on Your plan for my life, or mine?"

We can do dumb things on our own without satanic intervention, but there are also direct assaults from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Most people don’t recognize those things and consequently, don’t know how to declare war and return a spiritual attack. Let’s open God’s Word and learn.

God’s love in healing is available to us on a continuing basis, by Covenant. “For I AM,” He says, “the Lord, your Healer.” When God says, “I AM,” it always refers to the timeless expression of Himself, His Person and will, toward us.
Jesus is calling us to sit at His feet so that He can heal decaying, desperate, and dying situations. All we need to do is to humble ourselves, reach out and touch Him.

Courage can be defined as following difficult instructions in the face of danger and doing what’s right without turning back. Noah is a wonderful example of a courageous man who did exactly what the Lord told him despite all the difficulties that accompanied God’s assignment. We need the bravery to face difficult situations, admit mistakes, tell the truth, share our faith, and simply obey the Lord.
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ...and My eyes and heart will be there perpetually.” (2 Chron. 7:14, 16 NKJV).
This message is a word of warning to Christians. It’s meant to shine the light of God’s Word on the schemes and plans of the enemy that are devised for your defeat. All of us are, in one way or another, victims of a program wherein there are calculations and plans fashioned for our defeat. This podcast looks at those plans that are devised for our defeat, so that we may become informed, encouraged, and delivered from the wiles of the devil.
There is one true and holy God, and He is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29).

We have two options in the Christian life—to walk either by faith or by sight. God wants us to depend on Him, trusting Him to direct our steps; one at a time, so we can reach the destination He’s planned for us.
When we’re facing fiery trials or difficult challenges, it’s important that we distinguish between a trial and a temptation. There are definitely times in life when our faith is on trial. How will we respond?
What burdens are you bearing today? What benefits would be yours if you came to Christ, took His yoke, and learned from Him? What does the Lord require of you if you truly do take His yoke and are you willing to let Him lead?

When it comes to the fallen nature of humankind, the Bible is clear about the depth and breadth of its defilement, and crystal clear about the only hope for this world.
At some point in life, we all face fearful situations. Possibly we dread poor health, financial problems, the loss of a loved one, or uncertainty about the future. Or maybe we’re afraid of failure because we feel weak and inadequate for a particular task or challenge. Whatever our fears may be, we must learn how to face them as God desires—with courage.
Satan is a liar, and no one is immune to his attempts to deceive. Therefore, in order to stand firm against his lies, followers of Jesus Christ need to understand the enemy's strategies.
The condition of your heart determines the direction of your life. This is a vitally important issue because there are really only two directions in life. They go in opposite directions and lead to opposing destinies. You can either walk toward the Lord Jesus Christ into eternal life or away from Him into eternal death. The determining factor depends on the state of your spirit.
As Christians, we may be accused of being narrow-minded, we must remain firm and hold to the truth of the Bible, which clearly tell us how to be saved. We can expect criticism, but we should never be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
As best as you may know, are you walking in God’s will? This doesn’t mean you have to be perfect, but by His grace and the power of His Spirit, do you desire to live in obedience to Him? How often do you stop to consider the consequences of disobedience?
