To create this podcast, your hosts Nick Turner and Joel Crane have tapped their "telephone" conversation with the idea that maybe, just maybe, someone else on planet Earth will find the discussion entertaining. But let's face it: this conversation was probably going to take place anyway. Expect topics to vary enormously, from financial technology, 3D printing, macOS, Android, and of course, Wi-Fi, given that we both "work" (or more accurately, operate) in the Wi-Fi industry.
In this episode, Nick and Joel cover a range of 3D-printing topics, from the Prusa MINI’s shortcoming and upgradeability, to managing humidity in filament with filament dryers. Also, let it be known that Nick’s flex filament is more hard core and better than Joel’s flex filament.

They discuss what the conference is, what they enjoy about it, and how the "Deep Dive" classes that they taught went. Also, Joel still hasn't fixed his AirPods.

Prusa has announced the successor to the Original Prusa MK3S+! In this episode, Nick and Joel discuss the new features on the Original Prusa MK4, as well the positioning of the printer against the competition. Also, Nick attempts to record in StreamYard over a 5G tether, which has some... results.
Note: At times, things with the 5G tether get rough, and there is some pretty horrible latency that causes us to keep stepping on each other. Sorry about that. Again.

From the archives! This episode was recorded on May 18th, 2020 with a live "studio" audience, as part of the WLA's Coronavirus Relief Fund! The Hidden Node Podcast was part of 13 hours of continuous podcasting, all with a live audience on Zoom. As for the delay in posting it... yeah, sorry about that. Better late than never? It turns out that "conference calling" is a thing, so in this episode, Nick and Joel have a conversation with long-time Apple expert Dan Jones. Dan talks about special Wi-Fi troubleshooting profiles for iOS and content caching servers, Nick asks important technical questions like, "Should I close apps on my iPhone", and Joel's Mac Mini turns out to be absolutely ancient. Joel is thinking about switching to iPhone, but when Dan reveals that his iPhone can't keep his notification centre aligned, it ruins everything. And of course, Joel can't help but talk about Android some more.
