Sometimes we are left with more questions that we had to begin with. But the answer is always the same- God is in control and He is good.

In this present age, Jesus offers to be our advocate - our savior - but- for those who reject him, he will someday be their Judge. And who will be able to stand before him-
Just as Jesus takes center stage in the throne room of Heaven, so should he also take center stage in our lives.
How do you make water lukewarm- By doing absolutely nothing with it. Leaving hot or cold water out to sit unattended, it will eventually reflect the temperature of the room around it.
Faithfulness is being committed to what God gives you the opportunity to do. Jesus gave open doors for evangelism to the church at Philadelphia, just as He gives us open doors.
The church that tolerated sin. The pendulum swings from the extreme at Ephesus -the church with sound doctrine that was overly critical- to Thyatira -the church that allows sin to corrupt their church-.
Smyrna means Myrrh. Myrrh is a highly valued spice which gives out a sweet aroma when it is crushed. That is a fairly accurate picture of this church. A church being crushed under relentless persecution as they stood for Christ.

-Discontentment tells us God has not provided what we need and therefore He cannot be trusted.-
You Shall Not Commit Murder is actually the shortest verse in the Old Testament- only two words in Hebrew- -murder not-. The meaning may hold more than you know.
What does it mean to take the Lord's name in vain- It might be something different than what you think.
Are the 10 commandments still valid- What does it mean to have -no other gods before- God-

Spiritual input without Spiritual output equals stagnation. If you and I have Spiritual input, but no Spiritual output, we become stagnant, lifeless, bitter, and toxic. What God has given to us has to come out of us in our character.

-We have a very crafty enemy who is very subtle and cunning in his ways. And if we are not careful, he can pull us down just like an unsuspecting duck- creating havoc and chaos in our lives.-
In humble submission, we too may find ourselves in the pit - in the dungeon so to speak - but these are only steps. Necessary steps on our way to the palace. We're going to the palace-
Sadly, many people think they have plenty of time. Plenty of time to live their lives in this world. But what if you were told you didn't- What if you were told that your time was coming to an end- Would that make difference in your life- Would it change your priorities- Would knowing the end is approaching impact the way you treat people-
We have been crucified with Christ and sin is no longer our master. We're no longer under the power of sin- no longer dominated bu it. We're told that sin is death- however, just like the severed head of a rattlesnake, sin can still strike and harm us if we do not take it seriously.
Although you suffer now - that may be your current reality - although you suffer now, just like Noah did and just like Jesus did, you are on the winning team. You will be victorious. Your suffering ends in salvation-
Hardships and difficulties can bring the worst out of people, but with God's help, they can bring out the very best in people as we make the church together.
Chances are, you have been disappointed by God at some time or another. Life didn't turn out as you had expected. It seemed that God dropped the ball, so to speak. I'm not being disrespectful towards God here- I'm just being real with our feelings. You asked God for something. Something that seemed to be in His will. A request that God could have easily answered if He wanted to, but nothing seemed to have happened.
How we live our lives is largely the result of what we believe. What do we really believe and how does our belief impact our response-
Salvation, suffering, and doubt, oh my- Travel through Old Testament prophecies, New Testament revelations, and current day situations.
To some degree we all suffer through various trials an struggles in this life, and inevitably the question always comes up - the question that never seems to go away- -Why-- If God is in control, if He is for us and not against us, then why does He allow these things to happen to us- Why do we struggle- Why do we have to suffer-

Sharing Jesus Part 2. Why share Jesus---I have said to you on several occasions the we do not see like God see- that's a given. But if we are paying any attention, it doesn't take much to see and respond to the broken and the hurting and the lost people who are all around us. They are all around us, and these people matter to God. He cares for them. He desires a relationship with them. And He wants his love to be made known to them.-
Faith and fear are two sides of the same coin. Both are an expectation of the future, but the anticipated outcome is the difference. How can we overcome the fear of sharing our faith-
We serve the God of second chances. In this scripture selection, God gives Jonah and Nineveh second chances.
