It seems the world has gone crazy. Some times the happenings of today’s Society are really big and really scary. Some will lead you to believe that trying to find happiness and joy in the midst of chaos makes you insensitive or indifferent to the trials were currently facing. This just isn’t true. Taking time to fill our minds with things that are good, happy, noble honorable, true, and joyful is a way for us to be people who lead with love and a kind heart. I learned this lesson in a profound way yesterday and I’m gonna share my story with you.
Our lives will only ever be as good as our thoughts. The things we think drive the lives we live. Can you we change those thoughts for the better? You can!
I wrote about this on my blog but I wanted to share it here because I got such a grand response! The quote “there is gold in every piece of your story” got me thinking. Gold in EVERY piece of my story? Nah... but then, after I started digging, I realized there is gold in the mud, the muck, the good, the bad, and the ugly pieces of my story and yours!
I am a chronic and professional overthinker. In today’s episode I talk about one big way you can break a cycle of overthinking and five ways to help you turn that habit of overthinking off and flip the switch on getting moving again.
In today’s podcast I’m talking about how running is a whole lot like life. It’s full of risk and reward, work and rest, pushing through and taking a step back, charging up the hill and choosing the coast down the other side, wanting to give up but showing up anyway, feeling like a failure but also striving for that sweet taste of victory, choosing discipline over motivation when motivation chooses to not show up. Maybe God made us able to run to teach us about life and living. On today’s episode I talk about my relationship with running, why I care about it, and what we can learn from running in our every day lives.
Living in the mountains with the elements… Wind, extreme temperatures, crazy sun, and altitude makes skin and hair care a little bit unique. On today’s episode I give you some tips, tricks, and product recommendations to keep you healthy and glowing year round!
Today I talk about how separating your life’s happenings, activities, and circumstances can change how you feel about you and your value. If we can untie our worth from life’s going’s on and learned our value doesn’t came for our ability to perform but rather, a really good God, we can begin to learned about our true authentic identity and handle life’s storms in a whole new way.

A car camping experience has given me a great tool for dealing with fear of the unknown. We can’t control what happens to us but we can control how we respond. Right? Car camping, wide open wilderness, and learning to do the next right thing has taught me how to handle fear and create purpose in times of uncertainty.
I was given an exercise to write about myself as a character in a book. The exercise for me was life-changing because it broke down limitations, barriers, and insecurities. On today’s episode I talk about how to do the exercise and then how to Apply it to your life, here and now.
