"RECEIVING COMFORT IN THE LOST OF A LOVED ONE"
Chad Chandler Sr., host of GiveMe5, shares scriptures that he himself found helpful when faced with the loss of a close friend and dear family member. What makes the transition easier for both parties (those left behind and the one(s) traveling to a new spiritual home). It's the spiritual preparation made before leaving. No one has to be in doubt.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
God loves you--no matter who you are, no matter what your past. God loves you so much that He gave His one and only begotten Son for you. The Bible tells us that "...whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John3:16 NIV) Jesus laid down His life and rose again so that we could spend eternity with Him in heaven and experience His absolute best on earth. If you would like to receive Jesus into your life, say the following prayer out loud and mean it from your heart.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I admit I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I believe Jesus is the Son of God and the only way to eternal life. Thank you Jesus for Your blood that was shed for me on the cross for forgiveness of my sins and redeeming me from the curse of the law. Jesus, come into my heart and save me. Holy Spirit take residence in my heart and fill me. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy. I love You. I now belong to you.

GOD’S LEGACY LIVES ON THROUGH YOU
IT’S AN ETERNAL LEGACY
Good morning listeners. Welcome to the Christian View on this beautiful, blessed Lord’s day. I’m Sister Claudette of Earthly Ministry Church Foundation
Our topic today is God’s legacy and how that legacy lives on through you. God’s legacy is an eternal legacy. It will last forever, eternity. What makes that so wonderful is that you don’t have to be perfect to be a part of God’s family, because Jesus is. Only believe and receive that truth. The scriptures show that Jesus’ lineage included some of the same family types we have today in our families. We love our family, the children, grandchildren, nieces, siblings, nephews, cousins, uncle, aunts, in-laws and the outlaws. God is the originator of Family and He sent His Son to reclaim His family. Our prayer is that you have received that gift of salvation paid for by God’s Son, Jesus.
Whose legacy do you want to be a part of? Heaven? or Hell? God says “Choose Life”
Who in their right mind would want Hell…a forever of screaming, torment, cursing, fire and brimstone, wanting to die but can’t, in agony, separated from God’s presence and all good things as your conscience mind tells you that you didn’t have to be here. Satan, the deceiver, tricked you with his lies. God is not a liar and Jesus is Truth. Today is the appointed time!
I’ve asked Pastor Shelia Louis of Tabernacle of David International Worship Center in Midwest City, OK to share a special prayer with you today and Mrs. Dorothy Brewer Mustin, of Walk with God Ministry, Glendale AZ to share a short testimony.

STARTING THE NEW YEAR 2019 IN THE WORD
Resolutions or A Plan...Start with Prayer!
Good morning, Welcome to Day 3 of God’s New Year 2019.
We want to take a moment to lift our voice in praise to our Lord: for this is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
Lord we praise you and thank you for this new day that you have given us. From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same, your name is to be praised. We want to welcome you into our presence and acknowledge you, for your words says, “In all our ways acknowledge You, and You will direct our paths.” (Prov 3:6)
Thank you for you love, grace, and mercy to this your people. We thank you for your protection, peace and blessings in this day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you’ve had a practice of beginning a new Bible plan to start the new year, then you more than likely have your preference. Whatever schedule you might put together, being consistent and spending time in the Word brings forth growth and a deeper love and relationship for our Savior.
It’s like a marriage, if you never spend quality time with your spouse, the deepness of that relationship is shallow and that’s not what the Spirit wants. Communication is a two-way process. If you have questions, the Word is there to provide directions and instructions to give you wisdom and knowledge. If you need comfort, the Word is there to bring you comfort and peace. If your money is a little “funny” the Word helps you identify where your heart is. If your body is being attacked, the Spirit says “Fear not” Jesus bore your sickness and disease on Calvary’s Cross and by His strips you are healed.
Oh Yes, the Spirit will speak to you through the Word. It reminds you of who you are connected too.

2019 is here “Happy New Year” Gone is the “Old” and Welcome to the “New”
If 2018 was a year of upheaval and anxiety, like a rollercoaster—ups and downs, failures and successes; then it’s time to put on your spiritual helmet. God said in His word “I Make All Things New”. Are you thirsty for a change? Even if you can’t see it now, view yourself and your situation in the eyes of God’s word. 2Cor 5:7 “For we walk by faith and not by sight.”
That spiritual helmet you put on is protection: The word of God protects you from receiving the mental attacks of the enemy. But you “must know” the Word of God in order to refute the enemy’s lies. Satan is a liar & thief. He contradicts God’s word in order to take captives and kill, steal, & destroy lives. Jer 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
The helmet that Jesus gives to us is the “Helmet of Salvation” which we receive when we believe in the finished works of Christ. When we come into covenant (Covenant of Grace) with Jesus, who is the son of God, sinless, perfect, holy, righteous and loved of the Father; then we receive all the benefits that His death, burial and resurrection obtained for us. He makes all things “New”. It’s like taking off that old dirty garment of sin and putting on the new righteous garment of Christ. The Holy Spirit begins to give us a makeover.
Prayer of Salvation
Thank you, Jesus, for loving me, a sinner. and coming to earth to pay the price for my sin on Calvary’s Cross. I receive your gift and I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with your precious Holy Spirit. My life now belongs to you.

Question/Comment: How do you make amends after a heated exchange or argument? The two people should pre-agree to walk away, leave it for a while (24 hrs), pray about it--taking your Bible so that the Word reveals both sides, come back later, stay in peace, (stay humble--cool, calm) don't become defensive. At least one person needs to stand firm on the word of God, don't coward down. Recognize the spirit that's working in the person, take authority over that spirit but show love to the person-- it's not the real person, but the spirit that's working in them or the person acting out in the flesh.
