StayblCam burst onto the scene a few years ago and the lead product, the stayblcam camera stabilizer quickly gained market share and was being used to create dynamic video. Unfortunately, it sold more product than they could create and the company had to shut down with production issues. Fast forward to 2019 and StayblCam is back in production and fulfilling past orders. I ordered my stabilizer in 2016...and I got mine earlier this year. I wanted to have Eskil Nordhaug, the CEO of StayblCam on this podcast to talk about bring a company back and honoring his word to his customers. I think you will enjoy this episode of The CorserCast.
Cara Adams is the Chief Engineer for Bridgestone Americas Motorsports and the person responsible for the tires that the cars in the NTT IndyCar series race on. Cara worked her way up to the lead position after holding other technical positions at Bridgestone/Firestone.
I chat with Sebastian Bourdais about the controversial wreck at Pocono last weekend. We discuss how IndyCar can be safer when racing that close at over two hundred and twenty miles per hour. Sebastian explains how driver preference with the steering wheel can make it look confusing when watching the onboard camera and how setting that up is also a way to protect his hands. Sebastian looks for a strong finish to the 2019 NTT IndyCar series with this weekends race at Gateway, next week here in Portland, and then the series finale at Laguna Seca three weeks later.
