In the parable of the 10 virgins; there is only one thing that set wise ones apart from the foolish ones. They all had the same provision, they all were virgins and pure. They each had a lamp, they all carried had oil. They even all fell asleep and thrall woke up when the bridegroom arise. The only thing that made them wise was that they had extra oil.
The question today arises to every believer Am I settling for just enough? Am I just settling for the states quo? Am I satisfied just going with the flow? or Am I going for the extra? Am I foolish or wise?
God is love and Jesus is Lord. God is love but love is not God because we can create our own version of love. WE have to be aware because the enemy changes the meaning of words. Ib the church, we have to be careful that our terms are not getting a new definition. God defines love, love does not define God. Because God is love then love is Lord. The person of Jesus defines love for us.

Jesus has come to reveal the Father. He only does what the Father does and only says what the Father says. He has been anointed King by His Father. He has made us brother and sisters; and has brought us home to the Father.
Discovering the voice of God and His tone will allow us to comprehend what God has been speaking to be His people throughout scripture. It is not just about knowing the written word we must know His voice. The scripture is love letter sent to us from our Heavenly Father.
Many are pursuing a platform but do not realize we are God's platform. Many are looking for an altar to minister but have not realized that we are God's altars that minister everywhere we go. We are opening doors to compassion. We are bringing restoration to evangelism in order to lead the church out into the highways and byways to compel them to come home.
Holiness is not the end goal but it is a path. Holiness is not the highest goal but actually a path that we walk on but at the end of the path there is something else. The ways of God are the best ways. They are not burdensome but a blessing.

On Genesis 22, God spoke to Abraham and said "Take your son, your only son, whom you love-Isaac-and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you. In the book of Isaiah Chapter 6, Isaiah encounters the glory of God and immediately recognizes He is a man of unclean lips and lives amongst a people of unclean lips. The fire of the altar is used to remove Isaiah's guilt and sin then God raises Isaiah up as a prophet to deliver His word to the people of unclean lips.In the story of Jonah, there is also a similarity. God chooses an angry man to reach an angry people. It's not until Chapter 4 of the book of Jonah until we see the true reasons why Jonah did not want to go to Niniveh. Jonah knew the Lord was gracious, compassionate and abounding in love. The very thing you have called a weakness, sin and struggle in your life; is the very thing that God wants to use to draw others to Him.

God is restoring the ministry of evangelism. For too long evangelism has been used with condemnation and fear tactics but when looking at Matthew 9:36; it states that Jesus was moved with compassion when he saw the crowds helpless and harassed, like sheep without a shepherd. God is raising up a generation that has not forgotten the compassion that He had on them. A people moved with compassion for the hurting and lost world. Evangelism is about finding the children of God that are lost and leading them to the Father's house.
The Gospel creates a way into the Kingdom of God which is the King's domain. This is where God is conducting everything into the orchestration of romance.

When Paul encountered Jesus, he went from being the persecutor of the church to the lover of the church. As he wrote the letters to the churches; he always wrote from a perspective of love. Through the Excellence Series we have learn the healed perspective of what excellence is before God. Excellence is not perfection, superiority or competition but it is giving God our best. It is being anchored to the ways of God as we learned through Daniel's life. In Corinthians 12, Paul's speaks to us of the uniqueness of our individuality, the unity in the body of Christ and the gifts of the Spirit. He encourages us to earnestly desire the higher gifts but afterwards he shows us a still more excellent way.
Because Daniel had a spirit of excellence; he found favored with the king. Excellence is not perfectionism, competition or superiority. Excellence is being anchored to the things and ways of God. Excellence the ability to follow His voice whole heartedly even in the midst of persecution. Excellence is not a fruit that is produces but a choice to obedience, preparation and honor.
Many experience triggers simply by hearing the word excellence due to the traumatic experiences of their past. God wants to set you free of this trauma by healing your understanding and perspective of the word excellence. Excellence is not competition and excellence is not perfectionism. Excellence is giving your best to God because God has given you His best. If God has been able to bring beauty and glory out of your pain and mistakes then imagine what God can do with the best of you.
Emmanuel means with God. God did not leave us to deliver ourselves or to save ourselves. He came to rescue me from me. Emmanuel is the beginning of a union of the divine and the dust.

Typically sin is only looked at as an action that needs to be corrected but in the book of Romans 6; sin is presented as a monarch that has been defeated by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sin has human trafficked humanity and lied to us all of our true identity as Children of the Living God. Jesus has dethroned him and set us free from the chains sin placed on us, bringing us out of darkness into marvelous light.
It is so important to know the voice of the Beloved. In the moments of adversity and pain the enemy can speak words of fear, discouragement, and condemnation but when you know the Voice of your Beloved you will always find peace, hope and joy. His Word and Voice will always bring deliverance and healing. He is walking with you along the whole journey.
