Whether it's leaving a comment on a post you enjoy from your favorite small business or posting content about your own business, what you have to say matters if it can add value to someone else.

Some examples are:

-Commenting in response to what you love about what was SAID in the post (this shows that you can converse and exchange insight. It also provides more reach for the entrepreneur's post)

-Commenting that you purchased something featured in someone's post and how you love it. (this encourages other people like you to purchase the item as well as it provides social proof)

-Sharing good ideas when a content creator asks for them (this helps them create better content for you to consume!)

And if you have negative feedback (hopefully, it's suggestions for improvement and not attacking someone) you can send them an email or a DM!

You'll have to listen to the episode for what you should know as an entrepreneur to share your thoughts confidently to be recognized as a thought leader and even increase sales for your business! I even share how you can avoid sounding like everyone else on social media!

It's nerve-wracking at first, but you are oh-so-capable!

Host Monique Harmon knows what it's like for your heart to go out to someone. But, how far is too far before it starts to become a distraction from what you need to focus on?

We all have a soft spot for something. Something that causes us to dwell on it a little more. This is where we can fall into overthinking things someone else said or things we've said. We all may even be putting too much of our feelings into a big decision and if it doesn't go our way, what will we do? How will we recover?

This episode walks you through Monique's journey of trying to keep the balance of still caring while preventing as much stress as possible. _________________________________________________________________________ Connect with me!

Why are Tik Tok and Instagram Reels so popular amongst young people? Aren't they just a waste of time?

Not in all cases.

Whenever Instagram comes out with a new feature, you may wonder why it matters. If you're a person who's frustrated by the algorithm hiding your normal posts, new features such as Reels allow your posts to be seen by more people because Instagram wants to promote its new features.

So use it to your advantage. Monique Harmon, host, interviews Mariah Hunter, who uses her reels to captivate others, make them laugh, and spread her creativity.

After the interview, Monique shares the exact steps you need to use to create reels so you can gain a following and grow your business.

In a wave of seeing violent videos and #blacklivesmatter posts, a few of us have posted and reposted content either showing racism or how to prevent further acts of racism from happening. It can get overwhelming if you're constantly sharing these posts and/or the stories of those who died as a result of police brutality or were arrested unjustly or were just treated unfairly by other citizens.  Even seeing the origins of racism can be heavy on the heart. Host Monique Harmon shares how to effectively use social media to share your voice and the voices of those directly oppressed by social injustice with your online community.

She breaks down:

  • How to use social media to fight social injustice
  • Her experience of burnout due to racism and protests being shown online, and seeing people share so many resources to become anti-racist
  • How she recharges and stays present for her followers

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” -Desmond Tutu.

Racism is not new. It has been happening for centuries. What continues to change is the power we have to respond. Black and non-black people must work together in order for any peace to happen for the black community and other minorities that experience racism daily. We must respond by taking strategic and powerful action! Listen in on the gradual shift host Monique made in her life to proactively fight racism in the world today.

When someone's opinions dictate what you do (and their opinions only hurt you), when you wait around for someone to finally accept you (and it doesn't happen), when that person has isolated you to the point that you are serving only them (and it's draining you)...you're probably dealing with a narcissist. Today's guest Eli Davis talks about his experience with a narcissist, how it affected him, and how it has shaped who he is today in this first part.

Oh, and he also asked host Monique Harmon for a million dollars. See why by pressing play now!
