I just got back from a trip to Australia with my husband. He was scheduled to go there on business, so I decided to join him at the end of the business trip so we could do some exploring together.
This was a really difficult decision for me to make on so many levels. I tend to be very practical and sensible, and going on this trip seemed a bit crazy.
But I made the decision to go anyway and saw such amazing benefits. I want to share that with you in hopes it inspires you.
If you tune into this episode of the podcast you’ll get to hear a little bit about the things we did on our trip and how it impacted us and our marriage.

Many people avoid setting boundaries for fear of rocking the boat. Or fear that others will not think they are nice. Or fear that they will hurt someone’s feelings. Or maybe because they don’t know how to say it.
But setting boundaries is one of the healthiest things you can do in your life.
It is OK for you to say, “No.” It is OK for you to say, “Not right now.” It is OK for you to say, “That doesn’t work for me.” And you will be stronger and healthier for it.
I’m so excited to share this information with you. Tune into this episode of the podcast to learn about the importance of setting healthy boundaries and how to do it with grace.

Do you feel like you are living your life energetically and enthusiastically, or are you wondering how you are supposed to find all of the energy to get everything done?
If you’re on the struggle bus in the energy department, you may be in need of some soul-filling self-care. Know that you are not alone. Many of us struggle with this from time-to-time. We’ve got to fill ourselves up in order to keep giving in the way that we want to.
We know this. But we are so busy that we don’t do it.
The problem with this is:
1) We become grumpy and unhappy. And stressed.
2) This creates conflict and strain in our relationships.
3) We are not present in the moments with our loved ones, and so we miss out on what is currently happening.
So, we’ve got to start taking care of ourselves in mind, body, heart and soul so that we can experience peace and joy in the present moment.
Tune into this episode of the podcast to learn a life-changing method for holistic self-care that is so simple, you can start today! I can’t wait to share it with you!

Many times women ask me how they can improve their marriages and influence their husbands. The power of prayer is usually one of the first tools that comes to my mind. Because I can hear the voice of my life coach saying to me, “Take it higher.” In other words, don’t rely on trying to solve problems here on the physical level. Give them to God and ask for his help.
Prayer is so powerful. Never underestimate it.
In this episode of the podcast I will share how I learned to pray and rely on God to rescue my marriage. And how I continue to use it today for everyday life.
We will also talk about how to use prayer to grow closer to your husband.
I hope it helps you in your marriage, as well.

I was talking to a client the other day when she started telling me a story about her experience at one of her volunteer opportunities. As soon as she arrived for her shift, one of the other volunteers notified everyone else that the leader was here and they should follow her.
She wasn’t officially the leader, but when she showed up to volunteer, the very best in her came out. She shined bright.
As she told me that story she shined brightly too. Her whole face lit up and her body language was excited. My friends, this is a pure sign that you are living in your God-given gifts. What a beautiful place to be.
In this episode of the podcast I am going to teach you how to live from this place more often. I hope you’ll join me!

When I speak on marriage, I often try to encourage women to take the lead on improving their marriage relationship. But I often hear a common complaint about this theory — “It’s not fair.”
I get it. I’ve been there. I know how overwhelmed many of us moms are. And so often, it feels like we can’t take on one more thing. Why should we have to be the one’s to “work” on our marriage?
In today’s podcast, I’d like to show you what to do when you are feeling like it’s not fair in your relationship.
It’s not about taking on more work, it’s about changing the type of effort you are putting in and receiving massive results. I hope this helps!

If you have ever told your husband …
What to wear
What he should eat
How he should drive
What he should or should not buy
How to take care of the kids
That he should lose weight
Or how to do or handle anything for that matter … this podcast is for you.
What most women don’t realize is that when we tell our husband how he should do something it sends a message to him that we don’t think he is capable of handing the situation himself. This deeply hurts his heart.
It’s not at all what we mean. We are only trying to make things easier for everyone. But it’s important that we know the message our husband is hearing if we want more connection and love in our relationship.
So, in this episode, I’m going to share a few of my classic control freak stories so you can see how it plays out in real life.
And I hope to convince you that letting go of control will actually make life better, not worse.
This shift is absolutely critical to having a great relationship!

I was talking to a client the other day and she realized she was constantly questioning her worthiness in her marriage.
She realized that if her husband did or said the things she needed him to, she felt worthy and loved. She felt complete.
But if he didn’t do them, she subconsciously took that as a sign that he did not love her and she was not worthy.
That reminded me of the infamous line in the movie Jerry Maguire where Jerry says to his estranged wife, “You complete me.”
In today’s podcast I’ll teach you where your true worth and completion come from and help you take that pressure off of your husband and your marriage.
