“The Father is the good life.”WHERE WE FIND OURSELVESEveryone wants the good life, and we chase it down two paths: rule keeping and rule breaking. They look like opposites, but both are the same bite of the same fruit, the good life without God. Both enslave. WHAT CHRIST HAS DONEWhen the fullness of time had come, God sent forth the true Son, born under the law, to become a slave like us and redeem us. He paid for our rule keeping and our rule breaking on the cross, felt like an orphan so we never have to, and sent the Spirit of the Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” No longer slaves, but sons and heirs.VISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFEFor the church to become a house of returned sons and daughters: people who go to God in prayer to enjoy the Father rather than leverage Him, and whose love, joy, and peace spill out until rule keepers and rule breakers alike find the road home to the Father through our lives as free sons. “Christ the Son made us heirs.”WHERE WE FIND OURSELVESBelievers and skeptics alike know something is not right here. Sin lost us the land, divided the people, and cost us the blessing of God’s presence. And the law, our guardian, cannot carry us home. So we live like heirs locked outside the castle: sons by promise, orphans in practice, trying to earn what can only be inherited.WHAT CHRIST HAS DONEOur older Brother came to get us. He was condemned so we are justified, orphaned on the cross so we are sons, baptized into death so we are baptized into life, clothed as a slave so we are robed as royalty. By faith, not law keeping, we stand heirs according to promise.VISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFEFor the church to become a house of royal sons and daughters on the Treasure Coast: people who run to the Father without a middleman, wear their robes into a world that is not yet what it should be, and through the Spirit bring some Eden into every place they walk.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
BIG IDEA“The law imprisons. The promise frees.”WHERE WE FIND OURSELVESWe keep living in a two-party deal we cannot win. The law was never given to save us; it exposes sin and imprisons everything under it. So we hide from the God who comes to bless, or we go on pretending our sin does not matter while it chains the people we love.WHAT CHRIST HAS DONEGod made a one-party promise, sealed in blood, that no law can annul. Christ, the promised offspring, kept the law perfectly, entered the prison of sin and death from the outside, and in His resurrection broke open the doors and carried us into the inheritance: the Spirit of the living God in us.VISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFEFor the church to become a gate to Eden on the Treasure Coast: a people who are themselves land, people, and blessing because the living God dwells in them, and who answer shame, guilt, doubt, and tragedy with one unshakable word: yeah, but God promised.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
FALLEN CONDITIONWe live by an invisible ledger, sure that if the good outweighs the bad, God will bless us. But the law does not grade on a curve. It demands perfect keeping. One failure chains us to the cursed mountain.SOLUTION IN CHRISTChrist left the mountain of blessing to come to ours. He wore the crown of thorns, was hung on the tree, and became the curse for us. Now, by faith, He gives us a righteous standing before God and the promised Spirit who brings the blessed life on the cursed side.VISION FOR THE GROVEThe Grove to become a people living the blessed life on the cursed side. Sons and daughters standing with joy on the mountain of sorrow, peace on the mountain of fear, and offering the fruit of heaven to a world still tangled in thorns.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
BIG IDEA“The good life isn’t earned, only received.”FALLEN CONDITIONWe trust our works for what only God can give. Like the bewitched Galatians, we know the gospel and yet live as though our performance, our persistence, and our religion will finally earn what was always meant to be received. The harder we climb the tower, the further we get from Home.SOLUTION IN CHRISTChrist kept the covenant we could not. He became the seed of Abraham, buried in death and raised by the Spirit, so that by faith we receive what we could never earn: the gift of the Spirit, a Father, and a place in the family of every nation Abraham was promised.VISION FOR THE GROVEThe Grove to become a community that stops trying to build Eden and starts receiving it. A people who do great things in the world not to reach the presence of God, but from it. To become unlikely friends who become family, living proof that the promise made to Abraham is being kept in this room.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
BIG IDEA“Approval through Christ sets you Free.”FALLEN CONDITIONWe walk into every room as slaves to the opinions of others. Their praise goes to our head and their disapproval goes to our heart, and we wear ourselves out performing for a verdict we can never finally win. Even our religion can become one more performance that nullifies the grace of God.SOLUTION IN CHRISTBy faith we have been crucified with Christ, and Christ now lives in us, justified once and for all. The Son of God loved us and gave Himself for us, and our names are graven on His scarred hands. His verdict settles every other verdict in the room.VISION FOR THE GROVEThe Grove to become a community whose freedom runs so deep that no room can shake it. People who walk in already most loved by the Father, no longer ruled by the lust for approval or the fear of disapproval, free to love every person they meet because they have nothing left to prove.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
“Gospel Clarity keeps you free.”FALLEN CONDITIONWe keep trading the freedom Christ has won for chains of our own making. Gatekeepers from the outside say “Jesus plus ___”. Keep the rules, perform, prove yourself. The voice from the inside whispers we still aren’t enough. Either way, we step back onto the performance treadmill and lose the freedom that was already ours.SOLUTION IN CHRISTOn the cross Jesus entered the ultimate war room. He wore every accusation against us as His own, took the verdict we deserved, and left our sin, guilt, and shame in the prison of death. Then He rose. Now every spy is defeated, every gate broken open. We are justified by faith in His finished work, we have nothing left to earn, no gate to pass, and no master with keys over our head. The war is won.VISION FOR THE GROVEThe Grove to be a community so fluent in grace that counterfeits cannot survive long among us. We do not guard the door by keeping people out; we guard the gospel by knowing freedom so deeply that any “Jesus plus ___” feels immediately foreign. BIG IDEA“Truth revealed produces transformation and worship.”FALLEN CONDITIONWe are all searching for truth about God, ourselves, and how to live, but every source we turn to (institutions, tradition, the inner voice) proves insufficient and leads us further from the God we seek.SOLUTION IN CHRISTThe truth we cannot find finds us, by grace, through a personal revelation of Jesus Christ, not because we have earned it but only by God’s good pleasure. VISION FOR THE GROVETo be a community where every person has their own personal story and experience of grace; not borrowed faith, not inherited religion, but a personal encounter with the risen Christ; and where those stories, told honestly, make the watching world glorify God.
“Live from approval, not for it.”FALLEN CONDITIONWe are slaves to the fear of rejection and the craving for approval. A few people’s opinions carry enormous weight, and without realizing it we let them rule our lives; shrinking, performing, and comparing to win a verdict we can never secure.SOLUTION IN CHRISTOn the cross Jesus bore the rejection we feared most: “My God, why have you forsaken me?” so that in Him we are justified: declared approved, loved, and clothed in His perfect record. When the Father looks at us, He sees Christ. Resting in that finished verdict, we no longer need anyone’s approval, and we are free to live for God’s pleasure out of joy, not fear.VISION FOR THE GROVEThe Grove to live as a community of sons and daughters who fear no one’s rejection and crave no one’s applause. Free from the lust for admiration and validation, with nothing to prove, we love God and love one another from that freedom; free and fully alive.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
BIG IDEA“Grace plus anything is no longer grace.”FALLEN CONDITIONWe are restless self-saviors. Even when we believe in Jesus, we keep trying to add our performance, politics, or tribe to His finished work — and in doing so we defect from the very grace that set us free.SOLUTION IN CHRISTOn the cross Jesus cried tetelestai — “It is finished.” He paid the debt in full, bore the judgment we owed, and rose to deliver us from this present evil age. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Nothing left to earn; only Someone to trust and worship.VISION FOR THE GROVEThe Grove is a community where weary people lay down their self-salvation projects and find rest in the finished work of Jesus. We refuse to bend the gospel toward performance, partisanship, or tribe. Because Christ alone is our righteousness, we are free — free to obey out of joy, free to love across every line, and free to live as a worshiping people whose first instinct is, “To Him be the glory forever and ever. your house flourishes.Problem: We want the kingdom without the king, therefore we loose bothSolution: Jesus comes to dismantle all false kings hidden deep in our homes, so we might crown HimVision for The Grove: Become a community where the secret rooms of our hearts are thrown open and every false king is burned out, where Christ alone wears the signet over our marriages, families, workplaces, and finances. We are a people who build God’s house by building one another up—giving generously, serving joyfully, and welcoming the weary—so that the city around us catches the scent of Eden coming down. That every believer would see the ascension not as Christ’s absence but as His enthronement—first in heaven, and now within us. That we would dethrone the false kings that have ruined our hearts and our world, and join the King’s holy heist—bringing His reign of love, justice, wisdom, and grace to the earth through His Spirit alive in us.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
The resurrection is hard to believe, but without it, life is empty and purposeless. Jesus met Thomas in his doubts, gave him what he needed to believe, and transformed him into a bold witness. In the same way, Christ meets us in our doubts, shows us His scars, and calls us to believe so we might receive new life and purpose.Links:Website: https://thegrovechurch.coInstagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficialSermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficialPodcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3CSupport Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/givingIf this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today. The Grove ChurchChurch in Port Saint LucieThe Grove ChurchThe Grove ChurchHonest sermons about faith and doubt.SoundCloudThe Grove Church | Instagram, Facebook | LinktreeLinktree. We lost our humanity by reaching for life, love, freedom, and strength apart from God. But God became fully human in Christ, taking on our weakness, guilt, shame, and death—to restore us to true humanity.
When we don’t understand the kind of story we’re living in, we reel with anger toward God and run toward destruction. But the Author has stepped into our tragedy—taking the curse we wrote—and rewritten it into a redemptive story.
When we steal God’s pen, our story ends in tragedy. But Jesus has written Himself into our story to rewrite it into abundant life.

Main Points The Need for Love The Way of Love* The Perfection of Love“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13, NIV84) At The Grove Church, we strive to build a flourishing city, together. Suffering brings us into darkness & hiding. Jesus finds us to help us see & bring us to the light.
Jesus descended as the light of heaven into the darkness of humanity to illuminate the need and become the way to spiritual rebirth.
You have been saved for a purpose. Seek God and his purposes and you will find yourself joyful and at peace.
Every storm in your life is God's mercy calling you to Him & His purpose for your life.
To be at peace you must not think more of yourself or less of yourself, but think of yourself less.
Open your eyes to the darkness you are in, cry out to God, and wait for his mercy. It’s on its way.
If God is on our side; then nothing can separate us from His love that produces joyful obedience
God is not an impersonal force that is uninvolved in your life, but a personal God who is near
Your great temptation on the road to heaven, is walking through the crowd of this world and being lured in by their haughty eyes, which grip our prideful hearts, and hold us forever.
The road to your greatest joy, God and all that comes with Him, is on the other side of your greatest fear. The test is, will you trust God to protect you, or will you turn back.
Biblical meditation isn’t about emptying yourself, but filling yourself with the gospel
God’s word is the pinnacle of truth
Various Verses: 3 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; Isaiah 55:11; 2 Peter 1:16
Human history is the long terrible story of humanity trying to find the good life in anything other than God
Hope and Strength found in the resurrection is the cocktail that leads to a life well lived
By faith you enter into the story of Christ and him bringing you to the lost city of Eden.
The Gospel is not advice about how to live, but news about you were dead and brought back to life.
When our adulterous hearts turn back to God, we are forever changed by his grace and love.
If you want wisdom, no matter the situation, simply ask what does it look like to build God’s kingdom.
When you have all you need in Christ, you no longer see people as treasure boxes that can help you get what you want, but treasure boxes that you can fill with the riches of grace.
When our Heavenly Father is on the throne of our hearts he directs our actions to be like his.
