In this powerful episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, I ask the question that a lot of people may be thinking but not saying out loud: Have we become so desensitized, disenfranchised, and complacent that we’re now just accepting the wrong being done in the world and to us?
Have we slowly given up on believing that goodness, truth, and righteousness will ultimately prevail? Or are we just so worn down by everything happening around us that we’ve stopped expecting better?
This conversation is about awareness, accountability, faith, and the danger of becoming too comfortable with what should never be accepted.
If you’ve ever felt like the world is growing colder, quieter, and more indifferent, this episode is for you.
In this episode:
•Desensitization in today’s world
•How complacency becomes dangerous
•Why people stop speaking up
•The struggle to keep faith in goodness
•Whether righteousness still has a chance to win

In this episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host dives into one of the most dangerous and beautiful realities of being human: we all have power—and we choose every day whether to use it to lift people up or push them down. From the influence we have in our families and friendships to our roles at work, in community, and online, power is a gift that can heal, protect, and open doors… or be twisted into self‑gratification, control, and quiet oppression.

We’ll unpack:

  • The everyday forms of power we carry (voice, money, access, platform, knowledge, position) even if we don’t see ourselves as “powerful”
  • How ego, fear, and insecurity tempt us to use power to serve ourselves instead of serving others
  • What discernment looks like in real life—pausing before we speak, lead, or decide and asking, “Who does this really benefit, and what might this mean for the next generation?”
  • How choosing to use power for good can break generational cycles of abuse, silence, poverty, and shame, and replace them with courage, opportunity, and dignity

If you’ve ever wondered whether your choices actually matter in the big picture, this conversation is your reminder: someone is watching you, learning from you, and inheriting the ripple effects of what you do with the power you have.

Watch, share this with someone who carries influence (whether they admit it or not), and drop a comment about one area where you want to start using your power more intentionally for good.

In this eye‑opening episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host dives into Steven Furtick’s powerful reminder: “Sometimes what we call interruptions are really invitations.” In a world addicted to hustle, productivity, and packed schedules, we’ll explore how easily we label people, problems, and unexpected moments as “in the way”—when they might actually be the very moments that could change our lives.

We’ll talk about:

  • How our obsession with control and efficiency makes us miss emotional, spiritual, and relational invitations hiding inside “inconveniences”
  • Real‑life examples of interruptions that became invitations to grow, to help, to heal, or to shift direction
  • Practical ways to pause in the moment and ask, “What might I be invited into here?” instead of just trying to get back to your plan

If you’re tired, easily irritated, or feel like life keeps “getting in the way,” this conversation will challenge the way you see your day, your relationships, and even your setbacks. What if your next breakthrough doesn’t come on your calendar—but in the interruption you were about to ignore?

Watch, share this with someone who’s in a season of constant disruptions, and drop a comment about a time when an “interruption” turned into something unexpectedly good.

In this deeply honest episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host unpacks Iyanla Vanzant’s powerful quote: “Acceptance does not mean you agree with, condone, appreciate, or even like what has happened. Acceptance means that you know, regardless of what happened, that there is something bigger than you at work. It also means you know that you are okay and that you will continue to be ok.”

We’ll dive into what acceptance really is—and what it definitely is not—in a world overflowing with injustice, heartbreak, and things we would never choose. Together we’ll explore:

  • The difference between accepting reality and approving of what happened
  • How acceptance can be a doorway to healing, instead of a surrender to pain or injustice
  • What it looks like to believe “I am okay and I will continue to be okay” even when life feels completely out of control

If you’re wrestling with something you can’t change, replaying “why me?” on a loop, or feeling guilty for not being “over it” yet, this conversation is for you. You don’t have to like what happened to you—but you can learn to live with it, grow from it, and reclaim your peace.

Watch, share this with someone who’s struggling to accept a hard reality, and drop a comment about one area of your life where you’re ready to move from resistance to radical acceptance.

In this powerful episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, I sit down with Alison Pena—known as Bad Widow—for a brutally honest conversation about grief, love, and what life looks like after the unthinkable happens. This is not a polished “it’s going to be okay” chat—it’s a real, unfiltered look at how loss breaks us open and how we can slowly begin to live again.

We talk about:

  • What grief actually feels like behind closed doors, beyond the clichés people throw at you
  • How to navigate guilt, anger, loneliness, and the pressure to “move on” before you’re ready
  • Using the grief process to strip away the noise and recognize what truly matters: love, time, courage, and the values you want to build your life on

If you’re grieving, walking beside someone who is, or trying to make sense of your own pain, this conversation will remind you that you are not alone—and that even in the darkest seasons, there can be meaning, clarity, and a path forward.

Watch, share this with someone who’s hurting, and drop a comment about one value you refuse to let grief take from you.

In this episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host breaks down the powerful quote: “Never underestimate the power of intention. Your thoughts, your words… they are the keys to your future.” This isn’t just motivational talk—it’s a deep dive into how what you think and what you say quietly builds (or destroys) the life you’re moving toward.

We’ll unpack:

  • Why intention is more than a wish—it’s the silent engine behind your decisions, habits, and opportunities
  • How your daily self-talk and the words you speak about others shape your mindset, relationships, and future possibilities
  • Practical ways to start aligning your thoughts and words with the life you actually want, instead of the life you’re afraid of

If you’ve ever wondered why you feel stuck in the same patterns, this conversation will challenge you to look at the stories you keep repeating in your mind and your mouth. Your future doesn’t just “happen”—you help author it every day with your intention.

In this eye-opening episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host takes on a hard truth: just because something has been accepted for generations does not mean it has to be your destiny. From trauma and silence to poverty, broken relationships, and limiting beliefs, many of us were handed a “normal” that was never healthy in the first place.

We’ll dig into:

  • How generational acceptance quietly teaches us what to tolerate, even when it hurts us
  • Why “that’s just how it’s always been” is one of the most dangerous sentences we can believe
  • Practical steps to recognize unhealthy cycles, challenge them, and start writing a different story for yourself—and those who come after you

If you’ve ever felt the tension between where you come from and who you know you could be, this conversation is for you. You are not disloyal for healing. You are not arrogant for dreaming bigger. You are not trapped in patterns just because you were born into them.

Watch, share this with someone trying to break their own generational cycles, and drop a comment about one belief, habit, or “normal” you refuse to pass on.

In this powerful episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host unpacks Martin Luther King Jr.’s urgent words: “We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always right to do right.” This isn’t just a quote for history class—it’s a direct challenge to how we treat injustice, suffering, and our own comfort in 2026.

We’ll dive into:

  • What it really means to “use time creatively” in a world of distraction, delay, and excuses
  • Why waiting for the “perfect moment” to speak up, help someone, or take a stand almost always becomes never
  • Practical ways to turn your minutes, days, and platform—no matter how small—into tools for doing what’s right, right now

If you’ve ever felt the urge to act but talked yourself out of it, this conversation is for you. Time is not neutral: either we spend it maintaining the status quo, or we invest it in building something better.

In this episode of the 247 Real Talk Podcast, your host breaks down Andy Andrews’ powerful quote: “Life itself is a privilege, but to live life to the fullest – well, that is a choice.” This isn’t just a nice line for a poster—it’s a direct challenge to how we show up every single day in a world that keeps trying to drag us into survival mode.

We’ll talk about:

  • What it really means to see your life as a privilege, even when circumstances are hard
  • The difference between existing on autopilot and intentionally choosing a fuller, braver, more present life
  • Practical, real-world choices you can start making now—about time, relationships, work, and purpose—that move you from “getting by” to actually living

We’ll dive into:

  • What “audacious faith in the future” really means when you’re surrounded by injustice, violence, and chaos
  • How Dr. King’s vision of courage, love, and moral responsibility speaks directly to our social media age, politics, and everyday lives

A powerful conversation with licensed Psychologist and Author Jan Cany about surviving a homicide.

Bio of Jan Canty, Ph.D.

A native Detroiter, Jan Canty, Ph.D. is a psychologist, writer, photographer, educator, consultant, and cancer survivor. She holds a terminal degree in psychology as well as a post-doctoral fellowship from the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. She is a licensed psychologist.

Following the murder of her spouse, she began her 30-year redacted life and quietly moved deep into the Midwest and taught psychology at a small, rural college away from tourists, airports, memories, and intrusive questions. She worked as a forensic psychologist in a large mental hospital and taught graduate school in the evening. Her chosen specialty was cross-cultural psychology which lent itself to photography and international travel to remote villages on five continents. Dr. Canty was awarded Faculty of the Year in her second year of teaching.

Life circumstances delivered her to be uniquely qualified to speak about surviving murder both from a professional and a personal viewpoint.

In July of 2019, she spoke at the International Association of Identification in Reno to an assembly of homicide investigators and lab techs from 38 countries and has been a guest speaker for medical examiners as well as contributing author for Coroner Magazine. She has been a guest on the podcast Crime Scene Today.

In late 2019 Dr. Canty began her own podcast entitled Domino Effect of Murder in which she explores the aftermath of violent death by those who have traveled the path. She anticipates the publication of her book A Life Divided by the summer of 2020.

Dr. Canty presently lives and works (as a consultant) to the federal government full time. She spends her free time with her family, two Saint Bernards, engages in photography, gardening, and weightlifting.

From Pain to Power:

Native to Los Angeles, Kaliid boasts a successful career in digital production and also services as an author, entrepreneur, and podcast host of the “Misconnected Podcast,” a series that addresses difficult topics with social commentary, interviews, and analysis. Recently, Kaliid published his first book, entitled “There Was Violence” (available on Amazon, Apple, and Google Books), a gripping memoir based on true events that explore Kaliid’s turbulent journey spanning from the mid-1970s through the late ’80s. This coming-of-age tale follows Vaughn Harper, a young boy born into generational trauma who then navigates a chilling and unpredictably dangerous world of domestic and urban violence while seeking peace and his triumphant and true calling. “You are not the darkness you endured. You are the light that refused to surrender.” ― John Mark Green After coming to terms with his own violent trauma, Kaliid instinctively knew that he needed to share his story with the world. He aims to inspire victims of violence to explore their own trauma, seek the appropriate help, and live a more peaceful and happy life

Reflections on Christmas 2020 to Christmas 2021. Where we are now.

View Details

Update: One year later:

In many ways, I believe I am just like any of the billions of people existing on this planet. I have reinvented myself frequently over my professional career. After I graduated from college at The Citadel (where I played NCAA Division I basketball), I was employed in the Marketing Department at the corporate headquarters of Wendy’s International in Dublin, Ohio. From there, I worked in hospital administration for Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. After getting married and moving to California for my wife's job, I became the Customer Service Manager for an academic publishing company in Santa Barbara. After our daughter was born and we moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, I became a police officer with the Cincinnati Police Department, where I was a SWAT Hostage Negotiator. Following a family relocation to Texas, I started a school security consulting business and coached high school girls' basketball in Houston. Each time I took on a new job, I had to develop new skills and faced different challenges. There was always a significant learning curve with every new position. But my greatest challenge began in early 2012 when I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Acral Lentiginous Melanoma, which presented on the bottom of my foot. By the time the melanoma was detected, it had metastasized to a lymph node in my groin. Because my cancer is so rare (only about 6,500 people are diagnosed with this form of malignancy in the U.S. each year), I was treated at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. I had two surgeries to remove the tumors, and after I healed, I was put on a weekly injection of the drug, Interferon, to help keep the disease from coming back. I took those weekly injections for four years and seven months before the Interferon became so toxic to my body that I ended up in the Intensive Care Unit with a fever of 108 degrees. Fortunately, expert medical care saved my life. The Interferon gave me severe flu-like symptoms for two to three days after each injection. I lost fifty pounds during my therapy, was constantly nauseous, fatigued, and chilled, my ability to taste food significantly diminished, and my body constantly ached. This misery went on for over 1,660 days! One thing I learned during all my pain and suffering is that you have two choices. You can succumb to the debilitating discomfort and misery, or you can learn to embrace it and use it to make you a stronger and better human being. I chose the latter.

Leah identifies as Two-Skinned, having a Blackfoot mother and an Appalachian white father. Her early childhood experiences gave her insight into the privilege provided by the white skin she wears. That same early experience and trauma made clear the connection of the historical trauma of her Native heritage. With that early lived experience of white privilege and seeing the disparities across race, gender, and class, she recognized her unique position to be able to speak and teach the tools necessary to engage in deeper conversations in the forever process of mitigating the impacts of systemic oppression. That’s where With Respect LLC was born. Through her business, she does diversity differently, finding that by teaching tools of respect and belonging, the consequential behavior changes lead to dignity and respect across all the -isms.

15 years ago, I was admitted to the Mount Carmel Cardiac center, because I couldn't breathe, and my legs had ballooned up to 5 times their normal size! I was a chain smoker at just over 3 packs a day!

An Alcoholic, and Drug abuser, opiate pain pills were my poison of choice, I was in a horrible marriage and when I was admitted to the cardiac care center, I tipped the scales at 420 lbs.! My Life wasn't in a very hopeful or promising place!

That day in the cardiac unit my diagnosis wasn’t full of hope and promise either, Congestive heart failure, caused by pulmonary edema and a lower aortic heart aneurysm! The Doctors said not only was I so sick I wouldn't ever work again, but my chances of survival were also grim, and at best I would be on Oxygen 24-7 and need a literal bag of medicine to just keep me alive! I was 40 years old! My Health would improve slightly then backslide horribly when I would let my guard down basically when I would stop listening to the medical team trying to keep me alive!

Soon I was back visiting all my old Demons and they remembered me well! Like best friends at a high school reunion, Whiskey Pain pills, and Lots of Junk food! I was already a type 2 Diabetic taking 2 different pills to control my blood sugar, I remember one time going to the Doctor for a monthly check-up after a Night of drinking Whiskey mixed with a few Percocet and getting a blood sugar reading of nearly 400! If you don't know, normal sugar levels are 100 or less! I remember acting shocked telling the Doctor this makes no sense I have been eating healthy and trying to exercise by walking, my acting wasn't so good he wasn't buying my “Bull” I was sent home with a prescription for insulin, and Trulicity both self-injectable medicine's!

My Life was in a Dark and miserable place like I said earlier not much hope!

That was then, this is now! my life is so Very Different now I hardly recognize it!

Drugs and Alcohol Gone!

Cigarettes are long Gone!

Poor Health Gone!

Bad Marriage Oh Yeah! Gone!

This is me now! At 55 I am an Athletic Beast healthier and stronger than most 30-year-old folks!

Best of all that Hopeless feeling is Gone!

My Life Now is Blessed!

My name is Jimmy Roenick

I want to share some of the Steps Truths and wisdom I have found, mostly the hard way on my journey not only to self-improvement but for my very Survival!

Anna Nyakana

AWARD-WINNING & BESTSELLING AUTHOR, SPEAKER, PRODUCER, & SINGER-SONGWRITER
Anna was born in Berlin, Germany in 1986 to a Ugandan father and German-Moldavian mother. Her family immigrated to the United States in the early ’90s, settling in Stamford, Connecticut. Beginning at age six, Anna pursued her musical passions and spent her teenage years honing her skills of songwriting and live performance until releasing her debut album in 2007 all while growing a revolutionary spirit through youth activism in her community. With a desire to be the change she wished to see in the world and manage an entrepreneurial career, she proceeded to attain her Bachelor’s degree in Business in 2011. Anna discovered there was an overwhelming need to empower the youth and chose to focus on literacy in order to give kids a true knowledge of self versus indoctrinated trauma. Out of this desire, the Niyah Zuri series was born and Anna took the next few years to write and publish her greatest literary work. "Niyah Zuri and The Pharaoh's Throne" hails as a time-bending exploration of Ancient Egypt lead by the fearless heroine Niyah Zuri and her best friends Miguel and Hugo Gonzales. The adventure continues in the long-anticipated sequel "Niyah Zuri and The Mayan Eclipse," both chapter books equipped with a full glossary and free online resources for parents and teachers to access.

Anna has been featured on many media outlets to spread the Niyah Zuri message of diversity, empowerment, including SiriusXM, Entercom Radio, FOX, FOX Soul, PopFuzion TV, NBC CT, ABC WTNH, FOX 61, Connecticut Magazine, Sheen Magazine, Medium, and KIVO Daily. During her interview on SiriusXM’s “The Karen Hunter Show,” Anna stressed her mission of decolonizing the curriculums stating, “It is critical children see a reflection of themselves in the books that they read. My mission is to inspire them, one adventure at a time.” Working directly with school administrators, she has implemented the Niyah Zuri series in over 20 school districts nationwide. Building upon the book series, Anna is creating "Adventures with Niyah Zuri," a cartoon series, currently in production and being pitched to networks. The animation will also be released as a short film accompanied by its own original soundtrack, executive produced and performed by the multi-faceted visionary.

Anna Nyakana has received many honors including Connecticut Magazine's 2021 "40 Under 40" list and February cover, 2020 "100 Women of Color Award" and Valedictorian, and Official Citations from the Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut and Connecticut House of Representatives for her relentless advocacy on behalf of students in her home state to bring diversity back to the classroom. Additionally, Anna serves on the Board of Directors for the Born Rich Foundation, a Connecticut-based non-profit that addresses the socio-economy disparities in marginalized communities through education. The Niyah Zuri book series is available on www.annanyakana.com and all major bookstores/retailers. Anna Nyakana is based in Connecticut and New York, alternating between the two as she raises her children and grows her Niyah Zuri Movement for the youth!

LA Love The Boss released her debut single “Monkey” in May 2021, and fans have been anxiously awaiting its music video since. An ode to female empowerment and sizzling summer energy, the “Monkey” music video exclusively premiered at her release party in Atlanta on June 30th. Following the premiere, LA Love The Boss listeners everywhere will be able to stream the highly anticipated production on YouTube. In the video, we can expect to see LALoveTheBoss’ bold dance moves on full display.

“My new video for ‘Monkey’ is bananas and it can’t be a monkey without a jungle,” said LA Love The Boss. “The concept of the music video is just a lot of flavor. It’s us just being in our natural essence as women. I really just stepped out of my comfort zone.”

Filmed in Los Angeles and Burbank, the video was inspired by the digitized, green screen world of arcade games. The concept of the video, which follows LA Love The Boss through a series of virtual reality-like experiences, perfectly combines head-turning colors and unapologetic sexual innuendos. The neon visuals and cartoon-like aesthetic will make you feel like you stepped straight into the world of an M-rated video game in the best way.

Much of the visuals are thanks to costume designer Lor-e Philips, who dressed LALoveTheBoss in stand-out ensembles. The “Monkey” music video was directed by Karla Escobar, and the creative concept was thought up by Steve Nguyen, Alease Garrett, and LA Love The Boss all of which helped bring the lyrics to life on camera. Catch the release of the “Monkey” music video starting June 30, 2021, on YouTube. Stream “Monkey” now on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms. Stay updated on LA Love The Boss’ upcoming drops, exciting announcements, and exclusive content by joining her community of more than 3.6 million followers on Instagram @LALoveTheBoss.

My Name is Winston Taylor, and I previously worked for a private company that provided services to the Federal Government.  In this role I was able to interact with multiple agencies that administered and enforced immigration laws.  I was able to work alongside officers that worked for CIS, ICE, and, Border Patrol.  I have since changed careers and now work in the private sector.  However, I still want to have a positive impact on the immigration system in the United States.  Because of that I volunteer with multiple organizations that provide information to the public, and to government agencies and private sector.

My goal is to educate Americans so that they understand the basics of immigration law.  I found that it is much more productive to have serious discussions about immigration issues when both sides are as informed as possible.

The career of Donald “D.J.” Vodicka encompassed the rapid expansion of the prison system in California. For sixteen years, he was a prison guard in California’s highest security and most notorious correctional institutions Daily duties included serving meals to gang leaders, proctoring serial killers in lockdown cells, or patrolling exercise yards filled with violent felons while unarmed and outnumbered 1000-to-2. He belonged to an elite unit called the Investigative Services Unit (Internal Affairs), responsible for solving horrific crimes occurring inside the walls. He was retired as a decorated veteran officer, but certainly NOT of his own volition. He became the most influential “whistle-blower”, uncovering the silent secrecy of a group of rogue prison guards who called themselves “The Green Wall.” His book is a true story, a real-life drama of one man’s courage to do the right thing against the California State Prison System that helped in the cover-up. It is an unblinking look at what can go wrong when only one person is willing to stand up and speak for what is right, against almost insurmountable odds. Vodicka’s televised state senate testimony exposed a scandal that led to resignations, transfers, sudden retirements, and reforms of the system that are still underway. The story is a classic tale of the triumph of personal integrity in the most dishonest and crooked institution imaginable.

I am a new author of the book Human Earthquake Book 1 (available on Amazon) and I have a unique story that I detail in my book. My life story is told with humor, raw emotions, and the uncensored truth of how I became the most notorious pimp in the Midwest for over 20 years with encounters with over 400 women. I say that not boastfully but just stating a fact of my journey in the business of selling sex. My story does not start or nor stop there but this book is the first book of a three-part series. Ultimately it is a story of how I rose to the heights of the oldest profession in the world but was redeemed from that lifestyle. I don’t’ condone being a pimp or a prostitute, my life is in a totally different place. I wrote this book with the purpose of helping my urban community (Chicago and so many others) and the young men that should want and get other options than a life of crime. I have experienced it all, police brutality, social injustice, and the consequences of my actions.

Terry McDougall is an Executive and Career Coach and author of Winning the Game of Work: Career Happiness and Success on Your Own Terms. Prior to becoming certified as a coach, I was a long-time marketing executive in financial services. Today I work with high-achieving professionals who are "successful but not satisfied" to optimize their professional success AND personal happiness. I've found that way too many "successful" people are not very happy and are feeling stuck and/or burnt out. My goal is to help people begin to reconnect with their internal wisdom and understand that what they want matters and is worthy of their attention. For many high-achievers, they become almost addicted to external validation to the point that they lose touch with their own desires. Because of this, they will push themselves relentlessly which results in burnout. Often by the time people seek out me for coaching they often are considering quitting their jobs even though their livelihood depends on it. The focus of my coaching and the topic of my book is about helping people see the larger context of the work environment -- much like seeing the whole playing field in sports. When they begin to see the bigger picture, they begin to understand that there are myriad options for what they can do next and that in reality the pressure that they put themselves under is not necessary, and is in fact, a huge waste of energy that could be used more productively. I'd love to be a guest on your show and talk about some of the issues that I see with my clients and what shifts are needed to overcome the anxiety, depression, anger, fear, and confusion that so many people experience at work.

I live by one mantra: Choose Your Struggle. For much of my early life, I was told that I was living with a debilitating issue of Mental Health. As my condition worsened, I was prescribed more drugs at ever higher doses until, in my early 20s, I was daily taking more than the estimated lethal dosage for multiple drugs and living with a full-blown Addiction to prescription pills. At 23, after two suicide attempts, an overdose, and time spent in an inpatient hospital and a rehab facility, I decided enough was enough and pledged myself to withdraw from all of my prescriptions. Over the next few years, many of my symptoms dissipated. After entering recovery and rebuilding my life, I pledged myself to one mission: choosing my struggle.

In a world where many don’t get the first chance, I realized just how lucky I was to get my second. I decided to dedicate my life to making a difference around the topics of Mental Health and Substance Misuse & Recovery. After years of having my struggle chosen for me—to simply make it through the day—I finally chose what to struggle for. Along the way, I have served in a variety of roles aimed at bettering the communities I’ve lived in.

A graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Psychology, I strive every day to end the stigma around the topics of Mental Health and Addiction by telling my story and helping others tell theirs. I have certifications in Psychological First Aid, Drug Policy, and the Social Contexts of Mental Health and Illnesses, Suicide Prevention, and Coaching, among others.

An in-depth conversation with Amanda Webster about her Serious Mental Illness (SMI) diagnosis and her victory which included being decertified.

Amanda Webster:
I used fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle changes to go from a hotel ledge where I was ready to end my life to being decertified as having a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) by the very professionals that told me it was impossible. I am now able to be happy with my nine-year-old, have the energy to chase my dreams and live every day as an adventure and not something to merely survive. I am a certified Mind-Body Wellness coach helping others find happiness through my course, Happiness Boost, instead of the complacency we are so often sold. I've been featured in Women's Health, Cosmo, Oxygen, and Yoga Journal and on a variety of podcasts. I'd like to talk about how we can take our dark past and struggles and turn them into our own superhero story.
