We often hear "Stand on God's Promises" but there's a difference between standing and standing and fighting. Despite what we see, feel, or hear around us, we have His word to rely on as a trustworthy source to combat the enemy with.
To see God move in our lives requires us to have faith that God will do what He said He would do. We cannot force God to release His blessing or move in power, but we can potion ourselves to receive what He has for us. But, if we don’t expect that God is good and that He will move then we won’t position ourselves the way we need to. What are you expecting?
Discouragement is real, but so is the blessing of God! God is calling YOU to your best year yet, and in today's message, Pastor Jay continues to share keys from God's word as to how we can see God's Best for our lives. As we walk in the things God has called us to do, there will be discouragement and times things don't seem to go our way. So, how do we overcome discouragement and press on to the things God has for us?
There are probably routines and habits that you wish were a part of your life, but did you know there are routines we can have that have eternal benefits and rewards? This is why God is teaching us today about “Godly Routines” and how when we have them, we position ourselves to receive God’s best.
You’ve probably heard the saying, “everything is negotiable.” However, if we follow Jesus and want to receive God’s best in our lives — that can’t be true for you! People who are blessed by God have non-negotiables when it comes to their walk with God, their marriage, their family, their career… everything! When we allow God to speak these “non-negotiables” to us, He is faithful to strengthen us and grow us so we can be the people He has called us to be. This is why this year is going to be a year of God’s best for your life!

Oftentimes, we look to what we can do to make that happen with resolutions, goals, and personal growth. However, for us to have a year of God's best, we must look to Him and allow Him to lead us! He has a supernatural plan for each of our lives, so we must decide to be people who look to God first and allow Him to work in us and speak to us the things He wants to do.
In order for us to grow closer to God and to live in a way that honors him, we must know how to live and what He has made available to us! Discover the importance of being in His word regularly and how He will teach us things we need to know as we spend time with Him. There is a lot of confusion and untruths in our world today - we need to be people who spend time with the Lord through His word so we can see clearly.
In Luke 4, Jesus tells us what He came to do — to declare and fulfill every promise of God, including freedom and healing. Discover how Jesus came to bring a sound of GOOD NEWS to us, and how we are to make the same sound as Him!
As the year is coming to a close, we take a moment to look back on some recent messages at Chapel Valley, and reflect on what God has said.

God's presence isn't something that can only be found at church, or some secret place. We as believers, can enter into it wherever we are!
