After seeing the trending topic #RIPCapitalism on Twitter on May 13, decided to dedicate this 2nd podcast episode to a defense of capitalism. I go over the top three reasons that the US currently does not have a capitalist economic system, despite what is often asserted in public discourse. I also discuss at the end of the podcast an aspect of the history of capitalism in the US that must be taken into account when responsibly advocating for it.
