We travel around the globe and sit down with the best and most influential athletes to come out of the continent of Africa. Our goal is to celebrate these men and women and tell their stories in hopes of inspiring the continent’s youth to never give up on their dreams.
On this episode of Africans in Sports, we take you to Pheonix, Arizona home of D'Tigers captain Ike Diogu. In the documentary-style interview, we discuss growing up as a Nigerian-American, learning the game of basketball, the highs, and lows of the basketball behind the scenes, and how he influenced what many are calling the golden age of Nigerian basketball.

The AIS team is in Dallas, Texas, to sit down with one of three women who pioneered the historic Nigerian Olympic Bobsledding Team, Ngozi Onwumere. We talk about life after the Olympics, her Nigerian roots, and the rollercoaster ride that brought her to the Olympic stage.
