The Toni Time wedding planning podcast is where I chat to brides and grooms who are currently wedding planning to give you the latest tips and advice for brides and grooms who are planning a wedding. This podcast has been created to give you the help you need to plan your perfect wedding day, stress free, with information directly from brides and grooms who have done it all before. Covering topics from DIY weddings, writing your own vows, wedding ceremonies and postponements.
Imagine flying out to Portugal to plan your dream destination wedding to then have to cancel your wedding plans and rearrange everything to then plan a UK wedding with 8 weeks notice.
This week on the podcast I'm chatting to newlywed Sarah who has done exactly that and has zero regrets about making the decision to move her dream destination wedding to an intimate wedding in the Yorkshire countryside.
We also talk about the changes she made to her wedding plans and why those changes made her wedding day hands down the best day of her life so far.

On this weeks episode I'm chatting to newlywed Tara who's recently got married and was last featured on the podcast only 10 weeks before her wedding day on Season 5 Episode 4!
It was lovely catching up with this bride so soon after she said "I DO" at the Oak Tree at Peover in Cheshire. Unfortunately it did rain on Tara's wedding wedding but they didn't let that stop them having the most amazing day and they even brought the garden games inside.
This brides one regret from her wedding day is not fully embracing wearing her wedding dress during the photography portrait sessions, but when it's all new and white and expensive you don't want to be getting it dirty if you don't have too. We also chat about the options for you and your wedding dress after your big day too!

Bride to be Miriam is planning a destination wedding in Portugal whilst currently living in Luxembourg and if that's not enough her family and bridal party are based across 5 different continents.
Miriam is bringing Brazilian traditions to the wedding whilst her fiance Brendan is bringing Irish traditions to the wedding as they also honour Portugal's wedding traditions on their wedding day.
They also began planning their wedding during the early part of 2020 so they've faced a couple of struggles along the way including a postponement.

WOW. What a bumper episode! Bride to be Ellie is planning a country chic carnival wedding at the amazing Preston Court wedding venue and is getting married in 8 weeks time! The venue has two very complimentary sides to it, one lending itself to boho / country chic and the second a vintage carnival complete with it's own carousel!
If that's not enough this bride has also found herself trying on in excess of 100 wedding dresses in order to have that emotional attachment when you find the one. After not having much luck she has ended up having a bespoke wedding gown made, which came with it's own difficulties and obvious excitement!

Planning a wedding is quite a big task in normal times, but this isn't a normal time. Brides to be currently planning a wedding in the Coronavirus pandemic are facing extra struggles. That's alongside trying to keep a healthy mind and body in the current restrictions and lockdowns.

I honestly have no idea how every week I speak to a bride with such a different yet equally epic proposal story. It's absolutely crazy that not only are these guys out there totally pulling knocking it out of the park but that they are proposing when you lovely brides to be are least expecting it.
This is the story of @bride2be2021 Becky who have to say needs a medal. It's one crazy proposal that I personally believe should be made into a film one day.

It seems that the current situation we are all living through in some way is encouraging those who want to get married and be "Husband and Wife" to plan smaller more intimate micro weddings.

This year I've photographed a number of micro weddings in the UK and they have been so perfectly intimate and extremely memorable. I can't wait to get Amy back on the podcast in the New Year to hear all about her big day.

This episode is perfect for any brides out there who are currently in the middle of planning or replanning a wedding taking place in under the ongoing and ever changing lockdown restrictions here in the UK. Karla and her fiance originally planned their wedding day for November 2020 but brought their wedding forward to September leaving them 2 days to make all the necessary arrangements for their special day!
Looking back now Karla and Dean feel incredibly lucky to have shared her wedding with their nearest and dearest and wonders why they spent so much time sweating about the small stuff instead of whats really important. Originally they planned to have a Harry Potter themed wedding with 113 guests, which quickly became a smaller intimate wedding with no DIYs and a fraction of the guests. Here's an honest opinion on how that felt!

I'm a massive lover of red hair, something that Kirsty and I share in common. This episode I found quite interesting from that point alone.
