On this weeks episode I'm chatting to newlywed Tara who's recently got married and was last featured on the podcast only 10 weeks before her wedding day on Season 5 Episode 4!

It was lovely catching up with this bride so soon after she said "I DO" at the Oak Tree at Peover in Cheshire. Unfortunately it did rain on Tara's wedding wedding but they didn't let that stop them having the most amazing day and they even brought the garden games inside.

This brides one regret from her wedding day is not fully embracing wearing her wedding dress during the photography portrait sessions, but when it's all new and white and expensive you don't want to be getting it dirty if you don't have too. We also chat about the options for you and your wedding dress after your big day too!

WOW. What a bumper episode! Bride to be Ellie is planning a country chic carnival wedding at the amazing Preston Court wedding venue and is getting married in 8 weeks time! The venue has two very complimentary sides to it, one lending itself to boho / country chic and the second a vintage carnival complete with it's own carousel!

If that's not enough this bride has also found herself trying on in excess of 100 wedding dresses in order to have that emotional attachment when you find the one. After not having much luck she has ended up having a bespoke wedding gown made, which came with it's own difficulties and obvious excitement!

I've often wondered how brides begin the wedding planning process? How do you really know what kind of wedding you want to plan? Where do your ideas come from and how to you really collect and store all the information you're saving?

In this weeks episode I'm chatting to Sian about exactly that. As an avid festival goer she initially wanted to plan a festival themed wedding with tipis and loads of DIYs but after visiting Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds soon decided that wedding planning was taking a u-turn as they really fell in love with this beautiful venue.

We talk about the pros and cons of planning both wedding styles, including the cost comparisons of each. Why Sian settled on a a Spring Barn Wedding and how she began planning her dream wedding day.  Including finding dresses for her TEN bridesmaids.

Are you looking to plan a vegan wedding but finding that there isn't much inspiration out there? Or you don't know how to find the perfect vegan wines or cruelty free wedding supplies?

Vegan or not I'm sure you'll find this episode really interesting. On this weeks episode I'm chatting to "bride to be" Sofia who has been vegan for the last 6 years.  She talks about how she approached planning a vegan wedding, in more ways than just the obvious food and drink.

She's taken vegan friendly to the next level with suit shopping, requests for synthetic shoes and also animal cruelty free make up. Alongside this also trying to have as much zero waste as possible. Something I believe we should all be taking a little time to think about.

Alongside all of the above this wedding couple are also currently facing quite big changes when it comes to the planning of their wedding due to the wedding venue no longer being able to host their wedding day in less than 3 months time!

Planning a wedding is quite a big task in normal times, but this isn't a normal time. Brides to be currently planning a wedding in the Coronavirus pandemic are facing extra struggles. That's alongside  trying to keep a healthy mind and body in the current restrictions and lockdowns.

This week on the podcast I'm chatting to Sophie who is SO EXCITED because she's getting married in 3 months! That's how she should be feeling. If you're getting married that's how you should be feeling too! In her own words "I'm planning a wedding and I want to enjoy the process" and "I'm getting married in May regardless".

I absolutely LOVED chatting with Sophie about her plans for her wedding day this Summer. More importantly now than ever it's important to do what's right for you. Sophie and her fiance are planning to get married regardless of numbers. If that means 50 guests at the wedding, that's amazing, if it means 2, that's equally amazing!

More importantly, ENJOY your wedding planning process!

I think every girl out there has a vision from being young of how their dream wedding will look and Alexis is no exception to this. Influenced by the small number of Royal weddings we have had in recent years she wants that level of style and simplicity for her own big wedding day. And why not!

Alexis and her fiance Thomas are planning a big family wedding at Rowton Castle where they are having an unplugged ceremony so that all their guests can experience their special day through their own eyes and really live in that moment.

Creating her own wedding DIY's to save money to enable them to have the lavish wedding of their dreams will no doubt help others to aspire to do the same. If you are planning a DIY wedding yourself then you'll find loads of inspiring ways to keep the costs down and get creative for your own dream wedding.

I honestly have no idea how every week I speak to a bride with such a different yet equally epic proposal story. It's absolutely crazy that not only are these guys out there totally pulling knocking it out of the park but that they are proposing when you lovely brides to be are least expecting it.

This is the story of @bride2be2021 Becky who have to say needs a medal. It's one crazy proposal that I personally believe should be made into a film one day.

The shared love of travel has lead to their DIY travel themed wedding where they had found some really great ways to bring the theme to life which includes them creating their own wedding cake!

It seems that the current situation we are all living through in some way is encouraging those who want to get married and be "Husband and Wife" to plan smaller more intimate micro weddings.

On this weeks episode I'm speaking to a real bride Amy who has changed her wedding plans from a larger event in Scotland to a micro wedding in Edinburgh at her dream castle venue, Barnbougle Castle.

This year I've photographed a number of micro weddings in the UK and they have been so perfectly intimate and extremely memorable. I can't wait to get Amy back on the podcast in the New Year to hear all about her big day.

We also talk about the planning process for this couple. Getting engaged in the early part of 2020 has left them to plan the majority of their wedding on Zoom. If you are in the process of planning your own micro wedding this episode will leave you fired up and ready to plan your own big day!

This episode is perfect for any Greek brides out there looking to incorporate any Greek family traditions into their wedding day. Andrea has described her wedding as "Greeklish" which I have to agree is the perfect name for a fusion Greek / English wedding.

We talk about many of the Greek traditions that she and her fiance Alex will be including on their wedding day in London, how 250 guests is a small number for a Greek wedding, why the Groom's best men will be dressing him in the morning and how the part they are most looking forward to is the infamous "Money Dance!"

This is definitely a fun packed episode full of wedding inspiration and planning!

This episode is perfect for any brides out there who are currently in the middle of planning or replanning a wedding taking place in under the ongoing and ever changing lockdown restrictions here in the UK. Karla and her fiance originally planned their wedding day for November 2020 but brought their wedding forward to September leaving them 2 days to make all the necessary arrangements for their special day!

Looking back now Karla and Dean feel incredibly lucky to have shared her wedding with their nearest and dearest and wonders why they spent so much time sweating about the small stuff instead of whats really important. Originally they planned to have a Harry Potter themed wedding with 113 guests, which quickly became a smaller intimate wedding with no DIYs and a fraction of the guests. Here's an honest opinion on how that felt!

We talk about the emotional impact of having a smaller ceremony, the drama of bringing the wedding forward and how it feels to BE MARRIED!

We talk about the emotional impact of having a smaller ceremony, the drama of postponing and how it feels to BE MARRIED! And how they plan to celebrate with a larger number of friends and family next year.

Have you ever thought about dying your hair back to it's natural colour for your wedding day? This bride to be did exactly that! After trying on wedding dress after wedding dress she wasn't finding the perfect one to suit her red hair!

I'm a massive lover of red hair, something that Kirsty and I share in common. This episode I found quite interesting from that point alone. I can't imagine not having red hair, if anything I may be inclined to tone it down a bit but I can't imagine dying it a totally different colour. I just wouldn't look and feel like me.
