The Virgin Suicides is an anti coming of age story about 5 sisters who made a Suicide pac with each other. I feel like this story isn't a true coming of age story because the sisters never really grow up and all die before they become adults. But I also think that they did have to grow up after the death of there sister.
This Podcast talks about the Bubonic Plague in the High and Late middle ages of Europe.
This is a podcast about how The Virgin Suicides follows the story of the main characters and how they become more adult-like but also how in my opinion how this book could be considered an Anti Coming of age book also.
