Grow Your Faith Today (The GYFT) is the vision of Jerome G. Farris. In fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), this ministry's kingdom focused goal is to "reach beyond the walls" of the local church and daily share to the world with the partnership of believers, the good news of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8)
God has given us an unbelievable GYFT, his son Jesus Christ. By growing in the faith we become an awesome representative of Him in the world. This is the hope, prayer and purpose of this ministry.
Join us on our website www.thegyftpodcast.com for more information on how you can be a partner of this ministry. Thank you for your support and prayers.
As the Good News of Jesus Christ began the Christian's journey, so will it substain the Christian through it because God is faith who hath called us to it. (Philippians 1:6)
In the midst of the obstacles that will come to distract you from pressing forward don't give up. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
The straight line that the Word of God cuts does not always feel good but always is good for us. A straight line in good soil allows the seed of truth to penetrate our hearts. We shall grow and "be like that tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth fruit in his season." (Psalm 1:3)
The spirit of the Lord will not lead you where the the grace of the Lord will not keep you. That's favor.
God's answer to your anxiety is " worry not." Pray to me about it, and be thankful. Accept the peace I have for you. (Phil 4:6-7) Give to me what you are doing and trust that I will bless what you are doing for me (Psalm 37:4).
Be thankful for those who encourage you with their excitement in the Lord. Thank you Pastor Scott.
Before the problem (SIN) became our problem, God had already the solution (the LAMB) for us. His name was Jesus.Relations 13:8
As we now face some challenging seasons ahead of us, let our faith in God be steadfast.
Do not forfeit the blessings of God going before you in the midst of the "busyness" of your day. Stop and take time for Him.
Our pursuit for things in this life MUST BE SECONDARY to knowing God. A relationship with Jesus Christ MUST BE PRIMARY in order to accomplish the ultimate goals of life. Everything else will be of no profit to us.
You do not need to understand the what and why of what you are facing. Know the who it is that will get you through.
As the winds of uncertainty and adversity come, know that you are not in it alone. God is there to see you through.
God knows what is within us. He see what we cannot see. Ask him to reveal to those things that might hinder our fellowship with Him.
God has spoken. This is the time to break down that you might build up. From the foundation that has been laid, now grow that greater works can be done.
The blessing of resting in God is knowing that his presence assures us of a work already completed. There is therefore no need to be worried about anything we do for him.
As a child, to know you are loved and accepted by your heavenly Father not because of what you have done, but because of the relationship you have with him through his son, Jesus Christ. This is the best gift one could ever receive.
As a child of God because of the Holy Spirit in you, there is nothing you face, you cannot overcome. This is the same power that raised Jesus from the grave. (Romans 8:11)
Because we believe in Jesus and what He did, He has empowered us to do more than He did while here. What was that? Reach more for the kingdom through sharing our faith and the Good News. A "Greater Work" of ministry is now on the horizon. Lord help us that we might do your will.
STOP. Take time out from the busyness of life to appreciate what you have now. LOOK. See the importance of the relationships you have and never take them for granted. LISTEN. Be sensitive to the needs of others and what God is saying to you.
The people you meet can have a genuine life-changing encounter with Jesus. It comes through giving total control over to Him. Let Jesus live in you.
The proven battle plan for victory against insurmountable odds we face is looking to God for help.
To surrender is to be deliberate, voluntary, final and a progression of becoming more like Jesus daily.
There are 2 paths in life. A path of the faithful and a path of the faithless. What path are you on?
You are not alone. Others are here for you. God loves you and so do we. It's not over until God says it's over.
In the darkess of moments and despair, there still exist reasons for hope. The hope that we have is the future promised to us in Christ Jesus. He is our rock and our salvation.
God will choose through people who He wants to lead. We are to pray , honor and respect who that might be and above all, LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
It is at that "sacred space" where God will faithfully meet us to show Himself mighty. It is when we are WEAK.
When we are weak, allowing God to fill us with His power, then we are stronger than we could ever be on our own.
Our healing, deliverance and hope is possible when we remove the obstacles of hurt, disobedience and unbelief in our lives. Trust God.
We might disobey but never disappoint God. His love for us is not based on our performance but solely on who He is. He is LOVE. HE is "AGAPE".
Instead of worrying about tomorrow, today pray to God and trust Him for your tomorrow. He will give you peace and understanding about the future He has planned for you. (Philippians 4:6-8)
Your salvation is not about what you do or don't do. It is about what Christ did at Calvary and what the Holy Spirit is doing right now in you.
To stay on God's path is to use the lights He has provided: The spirit of man is a candle (our conscience) to know right from wrong , and The Word of God (a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path) to see clearly, choosing what is right that we not fall.
For us loving others can be difficult but not impossible. The key is rightly relating to God and embracing how deeply He treasures, provide for, heals and accepts us. Remember how so undeserving we are. It's called "AGAPE."
A do-nothing attitude usually results in a nothing-done state. We have a responsibility to God, ourselves and others to not be lazy but diligent. " A man don't work, a man don't eat". 2 Thessolonians 3:10
We may not know what is going on but we do know we can trust God. He alone knows how to turn our circumstances around for our good.
A word of encouragement from a dear friend in the Lord that I pass on to you my beloved friends. Let us continue building one another up in the faith. Thank you my sister.
Because of Jesus we have all we need. Salvation, the gifts of the Spirit, the power to do God's will, the hope of living forever with Christ and the authority to stand against the kingdom of darkness. Never underestimate who you are in Christ Jesus. WE GOT THIS!
God "demonstrated" how much He loved us. Jesus death on the cross was the actual evidence. NO GREATER LOVE THAN THIS!
There exists a deeper expression of love for God than simply saying "Lord I love you". It is obedience. To not obey reveals a lack of trust in Him. What areas in our lives do we not trust God with? Return the love by trusting Him in those areas.
When considering your blessings, start with Jesus. You will always have plenty to count.
Let there be no regrets later when the choice is clear. Jesus is the way to life, peace and wholeness.
To prepare for tough times, focus your attitude on how to properly respond in faith. Remember who you are in Christ Jesus. Choosen, protected, born again and empowered.
Our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. Speak of the goodness of God and His peace that is available. What we put into our minds determine our actions. Think wholesome thoughts. Then practice what you have seen from others in the faith. Through Christ it can be done.
Suffer little children, forbid them not, to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14
To experience more of God's presence, be a friend to others.Give and it shall be gjven to you.
What will it take for you to submit your ALL to God? To say "Let your will be done." It will take TRUST in God's plan for your life, PRAYER for strength to endure what may come, and OBEDIENCE to His Word. This path the path that JESUS took and we must take as well.
God provides for the believer avenues to escape the temptation to sin. Rely on God's Word to counter that pattern of thinking that sets us on the path to sin.
The proper response to your pain is accepting the fact that God knows your pain, is able to help your while in your pain, and is at work in the unseen for you. He wants you to TRUST HIM inspite of your pain.
God uses brokenness in our lives to bring us to a position of wholeness, maturity and usefulness in His kingdom.
BE CAREFUL! DO NOT believe everything you read or see. Ask the Lord to help you discern whether it is truth. His Word is the standard everything else MUST be judged by.
God knows what you need. Always remember He stands with you. Ask Him to lead you to a promise in Scripture.
It is what we have in us that so valuable. The hope of salvation is God what wants us to share with others. The power to do that is in Him and not us.
We do not need to always be strong, or have all the anwsers to the challenges we face in life. What we do need is to "abide" and stay close to God who is our strength and source of life.
It is the CHURCH that is God's manifestation and implementation of His KINGDOM AGENDA. When we as the CHURCH pray, seek his face, and turn from sin; heaven will respond and our land will be healed. Be encouraged that God still wants to use us. Let us pray for one another.
To intercede on behalf of our most treasured loved ones in all the world is go to God in prayer.
A Legacy of Joy: To be blessed to hear of the fruit of your labor. That what you have done in pouring yourself into the lives of others is being lived out in their lives.
Do you want to do more for God? With a pure heart and motive you can just like Elisha ask for a " double portion" of God. What a powerful way to be remembered by others!
"The greatest inheritance that you can pass on to your children and grandchildren is more than money or material possessions. Its a legacy of both character and faith." ... Billy Graham
Your walk of faith being consistence with your talk of faith is what draws others to Jesus Christ.
Everyone is the same in God's sight. So should they be in ours. It is what's on the inside that matters most.
The power of God goes far beyond what we experience personally. His strength is our source when we are weary.
Asking is "begging." Seeking is "not giving up until you find what you are after." Knocking is "expressing the intensity" of your need. God wants to "open the door" and bless. Will you "open your heart" to be blessed?
Waiving our right to have something and allowing God to choose for us will always result in what is "best."
Today's devotion : "Work Out" What God "Works In" You from "My Utmost For His Highest"... Oswald Chambers
Our goal might be ultimately the end result but God's goal and purpose is the process. Its the moment by moment of experiencing God being there with us every step of the way.
Let your goal in life be to do God's will, to please Him in everything you do. In return He will give you some of the desires you might have for yourself.
God is at work in people's lives. As co laborers with Christ we are obligated to come along side Him and share what we have received from Him. The harvest is ready!
"Community" is so vitally important in the Body of Christ. Being there for other believers when their faith is weak is what we should be about.
It is under the shadow of the Almighty that there is refuge and peace in those times of chaos and trouble.
If you can think it, you can be it. BELIEVE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. (Philippians 4:19)
Our big "Break" comes when we come to God in humility with a contrite heart seeking his mercy. (Psalms 51:17)
Brokenness precedes greatness. God breaks us in order to make us. And its all for His purpose, pleasure and glory.
We are vessels marred due to sin, however we can be healed and repaired in the hands of God. (Jeremiah 18:3)
As the Lord is the Good Shephard, we are his sheep. (Psalm 100:3) As his sheep we follow (obey) Him. We are content because we trust that he will take care of us and is willing to do what is necessary to protect us (even die). I am the good shephard; the good shephard giveth his life for his sheep.
Guard thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23)
Arise today with your God given spiritual authority given you as a child of God. Ephesian 6:10-17
Asked to do something by God that doesn't make sense? Remember, we don't know everything but God does.
Thanking God for "Everything" acknowledges His sovereignty, wisdom and control of even those disappointments in life. He is able to transform what we don't understand or may not want to experience for our good. Every difficulty brings with it an opportunity to strength our relationship with Jesus. That in itself is reason to give thanks.
KEY FOUR: THE MINISTRY - the ministry of the Holy Spirit is what gives us the power to do the will and works of God.KEY FIVE: THE MESSIAH - It is JESUS himself who embodies all that we are and ever will be. In Him we live, move and have our being.
KEY THREE: THE METHOD by which man can be saved is the word of faith that we preach. It is the Good News of Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-10)
KEY TWO: THE MESSAGE - God loves you and there is absolutely nothing you can do to change that! (Romans 8:36-39)
KEY ONE: THE MISSION- going beyond the four walls of your place of worship sharing with others your story of who Jesus is to you.
It is the "Church" that God has chosen to bring His message of love, hope, and salvation to the world. He has given the church 5 essential keys that will guarantee its success.
From the throne of heaven is the word "BUT." This is "Heaven Highway Sign" that changes our situation from hopelessness and despair to joy, peace, life and victory.
Whatever form "pain" might come in, there is a sign that just down the road there is hope, deliverance and relief. It's "Heaven's Highway Sign".
The "pains" of life for the believer serves a purpose. That purpose is to make us strong. That strength is not from us but from God.
PEOPLE OF PROGRESS are people who are pressing toward the mark of the higher calling in Christ Jesus.
PEOPLE OF PURPOSE are not only hearers, but doers as well. They see a need and will do something about that need. They share with others what they have received. That's "LOVE". (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
Before the church can move forward in progress and with purpose, we must acknowledge that we have failed God. It begins with being a PEOPLE OF PRAYER, asking God for forgiveness. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
It is the Word of God preached and the moving of the Holy Spirit that brings renewal, regeneration and rebirth to hopeless situations, even dry bones.
God's desire for His people Israel is also what he desires for the church and us as individuals. Life, vitality, hope and wholeness. What might be dead now, does not have to stay that way.
Are there signs that you might be spiritually dyhydrated or dry when it comes to God? There is hope even in the valley of life.
John 13:35 - The world may know that ye are my disciples .... ye love one another." This is my evidence. I am guilty because I do love you all.
What evidence is there that proves you are guilty as charged for being a believer in Jesus Christ?
Jesus resurrection helped us get back what was lost: It REMOVED what sin delivered, RENEWED what sin deformed and RESTORED what sin destroyed.
In times of trouble turn to God for help. There you will find strength from Him and "ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOURSELF."
Some of what an Abundant Life that Jesus gives is Family, Feeling of Joy, Fellowship and Fortune. Declare to Satan today by the authority we have in Jesus, "You Cann't Have It"!
Because of disobedience (sin), we have forfeited our position of authority (rule) here on earth. We can get it back.
While here Jesus wore the towel to serve others. After His resurrection the towel was replaced by a crown. He left his towel here. Who is willing to wear it?
A Servant Leader wears the Towel of Stewardship understanding that he or she has been entrusted to care for others , and the Towel of Empathy because it is vitally important to know how others feel, "sharing their burdens with them".
A Servant Leader wears the Towel of Integrity where his or her actions reflects their faith, and a Towel of Humility where they are willing to learn and grow from the experiences and opinions of those they lead.
What is true greatness? It is not how many are at your service but how many you are able to serve. "Anyone who wants to be first must be last and a servant of all." (Mark 9:35)
God loves you so much! Receive the ultimate expression of that love, his son Jesus Christ.
You are not the only one God has touched, saved, delivered and made whole. It's a "group thing.... WE LOVE HIM".
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. (1 Peter 3:15)
When you agree with God, your intimacy with Him is restored and obstacles removed to His brightest and best for you.
We will not always know why something happens however we can depend on God to see us through. "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Job 13:15
Allow the Holy Spirit to identify areas in your life where you have not been honest with God about. Then trust Him to meet you there and provide the grace, wisdom, healing and wholeness you need.
Spiritual transparency is properly dealing with our sin by not hiding but acknowledging it before God.
This Christian race is not easy. It requires us: 1) to give up those things (sins) that endangers our relationship with God, 2) run with patience, 3) keep our eyes on Jesus.
God will not sit back and allow us to destroy ourselves because of sin. Because He loves us, He disciplines us.
"Good Trouble" is us doing what is right for all people. "GOOD SCARS" are accepting our suffering for righteousness sake as our high calling in Jesus Christ.
All that I am and all that I have belongs to Jesus. He is in me and I am in Him and that's what really matters.
Because we have choices in life, we can choose living by design (God's) or living by default (ours). Living a life God has planned for us or living a settled-for life. Being complacent with average or taking on the challenge to be the best "you" for God.
Humilty is that first step that leads to the miraculous such as healing, deliverance, restoration, and salvation: the things God has for us.
There are stll chapters in your book of life to be written. Allow Jesus the author and finisher of you faith and story to fill in those pages. "He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Phil. 1:6)
"FAITH SEES THIS": Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. If God be for us, who can stand against us.
Even the godly and faithful will experience tests in life that seems overwhelming and even unjust. Yet we are never forsaken. God knows, cares, and will give you what is needed to endure.
To present our bodies as a living sacrifice is "all or nothing." Only then can we be used as instruments of God's righteous.
Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Psalm 133:1
Having faith (believing) in God means trusting Him. To trust Him means to taking a step toward (demonstrating through action) what He says to be true.
NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PROSPER. The POWER of GOD is in the PRAISE of His people. In the midst of trouble, focus on the one who can help you. Focus by praising God and watch what He will do.
God knows what you mean when your words can not fully express what's inside. You have an interpreter on duty who speaks for you. He is the Holy Spirit.
"No". A redirection NOT a rejection.God has something greater in mind for you. Respond in faith and trust that He knows what's best.
In this dark world there is a light that shines from within that gives confidence to the believer when sin is present. That light is Jesus.
Humility is putting self in the proper place before the glory of God. It is bring glory and honor to God by looking out for the interest of others. Its "Not my will but thy will be done."
Do not let the past WRONGS, (your sins and others), nor the past RIGHTS, (the good you have done), cause you to lose focus on the future (your high calling) in Christ Jesus.
There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39)
Do not let adversity keep you down. Because of the potential within you given by God, you can RISE to the possibilities he has planned for your life. BELIEVE IN GOD AND YOURSELF!
Receiving forgiveness from God "daily" demonstrates His grace towards us (1 John 1:9), demands that we extend forgiveness to others "as often as necessary." (Ephesians 4:32)
The seed you have planted for God's glory will grow. Do not be discourage in its delay. God is faithful and he will reward that which is good. Keep doing what you are doing for him.
Be intentional as God is. Trust his sovereignty. Purposefully pursue what He has planned for your life. (Jeremiah 29:11)
We are not to be so preoccupied with how, when, and what God is doing to establish His kingdom. Instead surrender to His kingdom being established within us by His Spirit that empowers us to do his will.
This is a special announcement that if you listened to our ministry in Google Podcast, you can now continue through YOUTUBE Music. Follow the easy steps that are available.
If we never lack anything, we might believe we are completely self-sufficient and do not require his presence, which causes us to ignore Him. This is why any deficit in iur lives is an opportunity to rely on God more.
Blessed are those who believe without seeing. Your faith is what enables you to share with others Jesus. Simply tell your story. God will take it from there.
Jesus' resurrection is proof that his substitutionary sacrifice was accepted by God and has become the source of new life to those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
God's Word is absolute truth. What it says happened, indeed happened. The evidence is undisputed. JESUS died. JESUS rose. HE is ALIVE!
When Jesus died (Mark 15:37), access to "that Holy Place not made by hands" became possible (Heb. 9:24). From the top to the bottom says ... It was by God's grace, not our works. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
To fix the problem of sin and alienation of man from himself, God had to simultaneously punish sin and display his love. He "numbered his Son with us."
When you know what you are suppose to be doing you pursue it. Destiny Drives Purpose While Purpose Drives Action.
To claim we have faith without putting it to work in our lives is like a "fig tree with nothing but leaves." Being rich in the Fruit of the Spirit ( Gal. 5:22) fulfills all God expects of us. BE FRUITFUL!
Don't be "the pot calling the kettle black." Honestly look within. Humbly admit your sin before God. Receive his mercy and forgiveness.
True worship is an expression of obedience, praise, honor, adoration and gratitude to God by a regenerated soul who knows the truth about God. It is completely emptying self leaving nothing behind.
There is one choice that guarantees no regrets. His name is JESUS. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation.
Listening is more than with our ears. It is receiving what we have heard into our hearts. As the Word is sown, let that seed find good ground, take root, and because of obedience produce much fruit.
God understands those times when we are not sure. Ask him for help. He is faithful to restore our faith and deepen our trust in him.
All to Jesus I surrender, all to him I freely give. I will ever love and trust YouIn Your presence daily liveI surrender all, I surrender allAll to Thee, my blessed SaviorI surrender all
The next time you feel hopeless and afraid, look at your problem from Jesus point of view, "the girl is not dead, only asleep."
Do not lose sight of the purpose of the Sabbath. WORSHIP TO GOD, REST FOR YOU, LOVE TOWARDS OTHERS.
Introduction to Series: What is the business of my heavenly Father? Seeing to the spiritual, physical and emotional need of others. Let's get busy!
Your faith in what God can do is a powerful testimony in helping others know Jesus for themselves.
May our hearts be "moved with compassion" to reach out and touch someone with God's love.
God is about to do something AMAZING in and through you for the Kingdom. Make his path straight.
Something is missing in your life if God's spirit is absent. Receive the gift of Jesus Christ and experience the fullness of God's presence and blessings.
Worship is experiencing the presense of God's holiness. It causes one to consider, contemplate God's greatness leading to a conviction of sin, cleansing and forgiveness.
God has given each of us by His Spirit, a "spiritual gift." Our gift to God is to discover what it is, develop it (reaching our potential), use it to serve others and glorify Him (LETTING YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE. (Matthew 5:16)
When an opportunity presents itself to share your faith don't worry about what to say. The fact that Jesus died, was buried and rose for you is the power that draws others to God. Telling your story of what an impact that has made in your life is the POWER OF THE GOSPEL.
It is the indwelling presense of the Holy Spirit within you that reassures you are not alone as you face the challenges of life. God is "ALWAYS THERE."
Matthew 7:7 (I asked and God gave. I looked for and God provided, I knocked and God has once again been faithful in opening this new door. Today is the next phase of growth in Kingdom purpose for this ministry. The transitioning to a new platform, new possibilities and opportunities of engagement and community uniting in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus.
The steps of a rightous man are ordered by the Lord. God you are in charge. Lead and I will follow.
In order for God to be "Head of my life", he must be Lord. To be Lord, I must surrender ALL to him. My life is not my own. Its the Lord's, for it is "in Him I live, move, and have my being.
Your present situation is not your final destination. Its only half the story. God is at work, mixing everything you go through to bring you to his expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)
The "secret to being rich" is not what you HAVE but what you GIVE in helping others. What you HAVE is rich in GOOD WORKS. Use it. You've been blessed to be a blessing. Allow God to work through you.
Regardless of how good we might think we are, we all have "dropped the ball" in life. BUT GOD, inspite of "sin", LOVED US STILL.
Take the time today to bring all the blessing of God in mind that you can rightly praise Him for them. Be grateful.
What God did for you yesterday should encourage you today. What difficulties you face today will not hinder His promises for your tomorrow. Stay focused on Him for nothing is impossible with God. "THE LORD WILL KEEP YOU IN PERFECT PEACE WHO MIND IS STAYED ON HIM."
Be an example of Christ love today by sharing him with others. Desire to give to others what you have received from God. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. ( 2 Corinthians 6:2)
Sometimes God has to break us to make us. He has a plan and purpose in mind for us. It is to be useful vessels in His service and good pleasure. TRUST HIM IN THE PROCESS.
Not only does God control nature but He is IN CONTROL of our lives as well. He knows WHAT He is doing and WHY. It is not for us to understand necessarily HOW AND WHEN. SIMPLY TRUST HIM!
As of March 2024, Google Podcast will be discontinued. YOUTUBE Music will be the new platform in its place. Please download this app that you may have continued access to our devotional. EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2024THANK YOU!
An intimate relationship with God is a "shared experience of fellowship between you and Him, between you and other believers, and is centered around obedience to the Word of God." It is these three "shared experiences" cohesively linked together in the life of a believer that makes JOY so rich and full.
Know that you have all you need in Jesus. Thank God today for taking such good care of you.
Do not let that "expressive love of your excellance" PRIDE, prevent you from experiencing God's blessings. BE HUMBLE BEFORE GOD by acknowledging the need for God's mercy, compassion, guidance, wisdom and power.Lord, I can't do anything without YOU!
We were made for fellowship with God. Experience His presense in your life now by letting him into your heart. Trust in Jesus and let him satisfy what you've been longing for.
A change will come from others what they first see in you. Be a reflection of God's grace in this world.
Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.A devotional from "TRUSTING GOD with Today" by Charles F. Stanley
The character of God is the reason we can trust Him. Get to know Him better that you can trust Him more.
Conclusion to Series - How Prayer Moves God to ActionLessons learned from Nehemiah's "GOOD WORK": There can be no success without the risk of failure; no reward without hard work; no opportunity without criticism; and no true leadership without trust in God.
Part 5 of Series - When Prayer Moves God to Action "Your path is harder because your calling is higher." Because your calling is higher so will your need for God's help. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT GETS PERSONAL.
Part 4 of Series - How Prayer Moves God to ActionTrusting God does not mean we do nothing. Action does not mean we do not trust. Faith without works is dead. (James 2:18)
Part 3 of Series - How Prayer Moves God to Action Express your anger to God but do not take matters into your own hands. Stay focused on God and your purpose. If God be for you who can stand against you. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
Part 2 of Series - How Prayer Moves God to Action Don't get caught up in what sounds good in the ears of man. When praying to God: Be specific in knowing what you want. Speak from your heart and God will take it from there.
Part 1 of Series - How Prayer Moves God to ActionRecognize God's holiness. Ask God for a hearing. Confess sin. Be specific in asking for what you want.
When some might see defeat, see victory. When some might see failure, see success. It's our RELATIONSHIP with God and one another that matters the most in life.
Yesterday, 2023 is the past. This day 2024, is a sign that God has something wonderful in mind for you. Embrace the blessing of hope, and the promise of His presense we have in His love.
Day 20 - This is a challenge for us all for the New Year 2024. That we grow in the Lord as a witness for Him, with the expectation of Him positioning us to meet ONE person who will be open to hearing and receiving the Good News of Jesus Christ. BE READY!
Day 16 - It has been an honor to serve you my beloved this year through the Word of God. My hope and prayer is that you too would continue in 2024 serving the body of Christ using what gift He has blessed you with. All to God's glory.
Day 15 - Thorns (afflictions) aren't so bad. They help us to reflect on worship, wait on God, and give us reason to witness. In times of weakness, God's grace is all we need.
Day 14 - Endurance is the key to overcoming conflicts in our lives. The strength of the Lord (His grace) comes in the waiting on Him. (Isaiah 40:31)
Day 13 - Don't avoid taking your pain and problems to God. He knows you're coming and will be happy to see you.
Day 12 - We all have THORNS in our lives. There is a purpose for them. The PURPOSE: to keep us humbled and reflective of God's presence. This is our WORSHIP.
Day 11 - Don't be in a hurry to understand God's unfolding plan for your life. Be patient. He may have a few more lessons to teach you before you are fully prepared to do His will and fulfill His purpose.
Day 10 - With the disappointments and setbacks of life there is also evidence of God's faithfulness that has brought you to where you are. Let others know of God's goodness to you. Tell your story.
Day 9 - The "Pains" in the valleys of life will come. Know that they are from the hands of a loving father who is in the business of perfecting you. "You will have tribulations but be of good cheer for I have "overcome" the world." Embrace what God wants you to "become."
Day 8 - Dreaming about what you want in life (goals) is not enough. It needs paper (to be written down) and a plan (strategies) on how it might become a reality. Then WORK IT! Faith without works is dead.
Day 7 - SPIRITUAL GROWTH POTENTIAL MAY NOT BE EASY TO SEE AT FIRST. Never underestimate the potential within you. God is able to do more with little than you or I can with much.
Day 6 - Include your invited guest ( Jesus) in everything that happens in your life. A daily walk with Him provides the joy that helps in times of adversity.
