The Bible is a book. This is a simple inarguable truth. It, however, is not an ordinary book. It is the most important book on the planet. It is the Word of God in paper form. Whether it's little pocket version handed out on a college campus, or an expensive real cowhide leather version that costs hundreds of dollars it is absolutely invaluable. This value can never be appreciated however without opening the Book and READING IT. Today Pastor Daniel Orten, my dad and pastor, tells us all about why this reading this Book matters so much.

How well do you know your Bible? Can you quote it? How many verses do you know? Each year children and teens across the world that are part of the United Pentecostal Church take it upon themselves to answer that challenge with commitment to memorization of the word, and it isn't just a few little verses. It is ranging anywhere from 100- 600 verses per year. Something some Bible College graduates cannot even say for themselves. What is this program and how does it work? Listen in to find out.

Brother Jaken preached a sermon this week about how to hear God in the midst of a chaotic world.
Jaken heard several podcasts about New Year Resolutions from other shows today, and he shares what he has learned with Bethany. Follow along and see where this new year can take you!
Every year at our church we have a forum where we sit down and allow the youth to ask us any questions they may have. It can be as simple as "What's your favorite book of the Bible?" or as complicated as "How do you deal with the loss of a loved one?" (Spoiler alert: Both of these questions are tackled in this podcast.) This episode may sound a bit chaotic. It is an up close and personal encounter with the Reality of how being a youth pastor tends to sound: loud, chaotic, fun, and deeply rewarding. I tend to want these episodes to sound excellent, polished, and pretty perfect. This is none of those things, yet I think this may be my favorite episode ever. Give it a listen, and let it bless you!
The New Year is upon us. Many will be looking to make changes. How do we make those changes stick? Listen in as we collaborate with the STAY Podcast to get to the bottom of the question.
It’s Christmas y’all, and that means it’s time for a Reality Speaks Christmas Special. Jaken and Bethany sit down for a Christmas discussion with input from the Orten Family Group Chat. We touch on Christmas music, movies, snow, and more. Grab your Santa hat, some hot chocolate (or a latte), and listen in to this Christmas themed episode!
Tonight we had a youth service at the church, and Jaken preached a sermon titled “Let it Go.” How do we break free from old ways of living and step into a new life? Listen to find out!
This weekend we had a youth service and Sister Bethany taught about why we need the Holy Ghost.
We are wrapping up season 3, so let's take a look back on where we have come from this past season. Plus Jaken gives some thoughts on innocence and the Christian responsibility. Finally we go through some stats of podcast growth.

In this conclusion to our two part series on words that are not found in the text of Scripture, we tackle one of the most critical issues of doctrine: the very nature of God. Is the idea of a triune God actually found in the Bible? If not, where did we get that idea in the first place? Do people who don’t believe that even have the right to be called Christians?
