Entrepreneurship has a different meaning altogether when we see people of any gender except men, get into the field and walk the talk. It is inspiring yes, but it is motivating and encouraging, nonetheless. So, I asked this beautiful human to be a part of my panel, Payal Agarwal Jain, the founder of Boss Network, Guwahati. She is not only breaking barriers and thought processes in regards to the orthodox mindset, but also enlightening lives with her magic. Trust me, throughout the episode you would feel that you can just keep listening to her speak. Kuch na kuch toh aap lekar jaroor jaaoge. So, without further ado, listen to Payal speak beautifully in Episode 30.

Skincare is something important for each and every human, be it for people who recognize themselves as binary or nonbinary, or people having different sexual orientations. Skin is skin. And this is what I tried to talk about with Khadija in this episode. And not just this, we also talked about her venture, journey, life, and learnings. The conversation seemed to have happened in a good flow, because we used to be acquaintances in school, and we didn’t even know that after so many years, this is how we would be able to converse. Stand up comedy, I started watching these back in college when AIB came in, and some amazing stand-ups started popping up and gaining fame on YouTube and then slowly on Instagram. Tbh, I don’t know how these people do it. I mean, when I crack a joke and I get no laughs, my ears start to burn up. And these people actually get such reactions on stage so many times, before getting laughter throughout their set. It’s just not this but also how they need to think and prepare a script for their set. So, I talked about these things and many other things related to stand-up in this episode with Laksh Nayak, a stand-up comedian, an amazing and genuine person. So, enjoy Episode 28.

Since the last decade, there have been so many new things coming up that it can get really difficult and confusing for not only me but anyone to start working on things. So this season is going to be all about careers: how people started, where they are now,and where they want to be. Andyes, everything in between.

A Stereotype is a mistaken idea or belief many people have about a thing or group that is based upon how they look on the outside, which may be true or only partly true. It is basically based on prejudices of how we see someone. And there are a lot of such stereotypes in our Indian Society right now, stereotypes that take us back to the repressive eras.
For this episode, Perception 101 has collaborated with The Soulful Garb, an Instagram blog page handled by Navya Mohanka. Throughout the episode, Navya and I have discussed certain stereotypes that we see in our daily lives and why these stereotypes should be removed for the betterment of future generations.
