Hi soulful people today we've got a female DJ and producer Nia Louw on the show as we celebrate women's month.
Sonia Rosa Pietersen born in Witbank Mpumalanga is quickly on the rise as one of the favorite deep house deejays on the club scene in Mpumalanga.
Sonia discovered her love for the art after a colleague suggested she try it as a hobby and this gave way to the birth of Nia Louw (as she is now affectionately known to her fans) in 2017. She has proved to be unstoppable since, with many fans continuously commenting on Nia's unique song choice and the sequencing of her tracks.
She launched her own branded clothing line soon after and is known for her unique sense of fashion and funky hair styles. She has become a trendsetter among many young girls across Mpumalanga.
She was a resident deejay at the local Shisa Nyama for three months in 2018 before deciding to focus on freelance work. She then went on to join K-Radio on the "The Capital Breakfast Show with Lerato Molefe" frequency 107.3 as the resident deejay for this show with weekly mixtapes for three months. She was then featured on the "The Afterparty" with The KIngDeep on BCR Fm frequency 104.1. One of the biggest community radio stations in Nelspruit.
Her first single "Lose It" feat Sam E Dee was released on the 28th of October 2018. She also released the music video to her single on YouTube on Valentine’s Day the 14th of February 2019, which also had a feature on Channel O’s My House. She then released a remix package called Lose It (Remixes) EP, which featured remixers such as InfernoTune, NiQue Tii, FutureFue, De Khoisan Afrikah, and Emdeep101. The EP was featured on several Top Charts on Traxsource.
Her latest offering released on the 31st of March 2020 named New Dawn – The EP is a collaboration EP which includes producers and musicians such as Alison Maseko, Nuzu Deep, 18v40, Deepsel and SHAWNASTRO. The EP is featured on the Soulful House Charts on Traxsource.

Siphiwe Treasure Repinga born 11 February 1990 better known as The KingDeep (or Simply spokie) as his fans, musicians call him sometimes , is a rising star in the field of the Deep/Soulful house and has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. His ability to command the crowd through his selection of music is helping him keep his finger on the pulse of what the crowds wants.
The KingDeep was introduced to Dj’ing in 2009, But before that he was a member of a Gospel Hip Hop Dance crew Hip Hop Revolution in 2008. He then became resident Dj at Club Afro Cafè in 2012 where his life as a DJ took in took flight, at a later stage he became a resident Dj at Top Notch Restaurant in 2012 to 2014
But before anything in 2011 Him and 2 of His Friends Started A production Company which they name it by abbreviating each first alphabet of their names STM Records SA PTY/LTD, which aims on building a relationship with local artists and producers
In 2014 he joined one of the oldest community radio station in Mpumalanga as Producer/IT technician and a music complier, then just a few weeks of 2016 he got a chance to do 2 shows which specialise with house music namely “The Royal House” Saturday mornings and “The AfterParty” Sundays, which focuses in uplifting underground DJs and producers of house music, also Host of two Podcasts #SomeWhereKoKasi Belt Session and The KingDeep Session, He was also Featured to other Podcast such as Galatic Art Transmission Podcast, Soulful Attempts by Simnique, House Heads Radio show and House Culture Radio
The KingDeep Has shared stage with the likes of DJ fresh, Lulo Cafe, Black Coffee, Euphonik, Ralf Gum, Mi casa and more. He also work with artists such as Darian Crouse and The Heavy Quarterz and he is looking forward to work with a lot of big name, although his vision is to work more with the Underground Producer
