I had to hide in an empty classroom to record this. Chose to vent and share, instead of finding the nearest blade. Weirdly, I thought I wouldn't ever have to do this again. But life happened.

Happy International Women's Day to the schmmazzing women all over the world. #EachForEqual.

Saw an e-flyer on my course WhatsApp's group about collecting used bras in the UK for "women in Africa". And I'm still trying to unpack how wrong, condescending and patronising the whole idea was. The fact that a group of people sat down, discussed and decided to go ahead with a project like this, makes me really uncomfortable.

This is something I've been struggling with for years. I'm hoping this this episode - and the conversations we'll have in response, will give me answers. Islam is perfect. But Muslims are not. Is it possible for Muslim women to be feminists?

Social media is slowly making it easy for strangers online to dig up information on you within seconds. Public shaming might be necessary but can be disproportionate in some cases. Who regulates these? Who decides what to do with what information? Who's the judge and jury for the court of twitter?

In 6 months, I've changed my career choice three times. To three completely unrelated options. I'd like to think that this isn't as 'weird' as I'm perceiving it to be. Please listen and share your similar experiences.

It's nice to have people around you that constantly check up on you etc. However, what we don't talk about enough is the extra burden placed on the other person to give an explanation. Which sometimes, might result to overcompensation. You appreciate the gesture, but deep down, you don't understand what's going on. Hence you can't give any explanation or suggest any solutions. "Talk to me" - I'd love to, if only I know what's wrong myself.

Sometimes, it's not about the war, it's about the mini battles that have been won. The otherwise insignificant battles. Set measurable goals. And remember to celebrate your little wins. You deserve it. Give yourself a round of applause for how far you've come.

A friend asked me about this. Sent a 10 mins VN as a reply. Decided to publish my response as this week's episode :) Enjoy.

How we treat others as a reflection of our understanding of how they'd like to be treated.

"Do not treat others how you'd like to be treated, that's bullshit, communicate with them and try to treat them how they'd prefer to be treated”

Today's episode is an extension of last week's. I know I said we'd talk about the connection between the body and mind this week. But a friend raised this important issue that I felt was worthy to be discussed on today's episode.

Please do listen, share your thoughts and share this episode with a friend ❤️
