I cover what to avoid in training and how to adapt a new approach for creating a winning team. In this episode(sorry for being so new), I’m diving into 2 of my favorite methods of boosting my closing ratio using sales psychology. The first method is Menu Selling. Menu selling can be very useful to increase your closing ratio and the amount of product sold aka boosting your commission. Pretty easy to create a one page Menu of the products or services offered using programs like MS PowerPoint or Apple Keynote. You can create a professional looking menu with several options and the idea is to move the customer to purchasing one of the options you are offering. The next part covered is something I’ve always liked to call “Drop the Hammer”. In this technique we want to shock the customer for a short term; usually you get the same facial expression as if you surprised them and dropped a hammer 😳. If you need 3, you say 10 and force them to give you the objection right away “No way 10 is too much”, and then you can have the upper hand to negotiate down to what you need “ok, I can make just 3 work” wow what a hero you are now.... It’s important to not overuse any of these methods and make sure that what you are doing is beneficial to the customer and the business. Anyone can sell a customer in a day, but repeat business and trust is something that can help you reach new heights and become the sales expert I know you can.
