Romans 12:3 warns us not to think we are better than we are! We need to recognise how we evaluate ourselves, walking humbly, being that witness of Christ that ALL need to see!
As much as we want to go back to normal in these days of pandemic, let’s stop and consider how we are acting and the consequences it could have for others!
How do we react when we find out someone has been less than truthful about you, lied or gone out of their way to hurt you? I believe the answer is in Matthew 18:15-20
Jesus is our constant Hebrews 13:8 days Jesus is Yesterday, Today & forever! We need not fear change when He is the constant in our lives!
In our western countries do we realise how blessed we really are? We have so much but are we ready and willing to give it all up to follow Christ?
Do we have the right? In some situations yes but in others absolutely NOT! God does not take partiality with anyone, including if we think we have the right!
Do we know that God loves us, that Christ loves us, that we have the Holy Spirit? Good, what about people we know?
If we read the book of Job we see a man who loses everything yet will NOT bad mouth God, even in the worst of time’s! Are we prepared to do the same?
People still laugh as they did when Noah said it would rain! Are people fooling themselves?
There are times when we know something isn’t right, how to we deal with it and can we discern if it’s the choice of men or that of God?
There are many would be prophets out there at the moment on social media saying Jesus this and Jesus that! But is it really Christ speaking?
God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are consistent in who they are and NOT racist! Therefore let us be the same as we look to serve people in these times!
The world continues like nothing will change, even in these days we live, but Christ is coming.....quickly!
Jesus doesn’t care about colour of skin, background on wealth but He is interested in you and He is knocking on the door of your heart!
After the coming of the Holy Spirit and Peter preaching 3000 became believers and all was shared equally with one another, A HUGE WITNESS can we do this today? Is not want The Lord wants bigger than our own ego?
Jesus left us His people a very special message that we would never be alone and that we will do great things in His name through The Holy Spirit!
How do we pray to God, do we see it as a religious act or has it become a chore? Let’s pray to our Lord as He taught us!
We all get disappointed sometimes, even biblical characters got disappointed! How do we deal with & live with our disappointment?
How are we physically? Do we need to train? The same applies to us spiritually if we want to finish the race!
We seem to have a lot of extra time on our hands right now? How are we feeling about time out and bank holidays??
The words of truth, the Bible are not given by men, let’s ignore folklore about God and look at the Bible ourselves!
We find ourselves getting tired, wondering what else we can do to share the Gospel? Don’t give up, harvest time will come x
With all that happens to us does it matter? Do we hold on to things that hurt us especially in a church or Christian setting? Ask yourself “Does it matter?”
How much is your birthright in Christ worth, what are you prepared to give away for something you really want?
Do we trust all we are told, plans that are drawn up for us at this time or.......do we trust our God first and seek His will in all we do!?
When we think or look at restoration do we always look at physical healing? Think again!
Today being VE Day we give thanks for all those who have fought & fight for our freedom
People are getting excited about the prospect of lockdown ending...is this the end, are we worried it isn’t?
How do we know what we are looking at is good or bad? How do we discern what is needed and what is not?
Is the world starting to feel a little bland,? are we living in Groundhog Day?? Then think again, if we are people of the king we are salt & light!
We have seen a hero today change the way men feel, this is great but God continues to do this in his people daily....
So many people keep asking the same questions about this time we are living, I hope in some way this podcast answers some of our questions & fears x
Have we ever run away because we are confronted with something? Time to stop running....
Do we make poor decisions, do we regret making them? Do we k ow that God can still use them?
We live our lives sometime holding secrets, do we need to do this, in certain circumstances is it better to fess up?
Human beings are great at morning & complaining, it’s historic & in the Bible when the person of Israel complained as they walked through the desert despite seeing miracle after miracle provided by God! Are we moaning or complaining today? Are we prepared to rely and trust in our God
Have we had enough? We are now into week 5 of lockdown and you might feel irritable, angry, scared, worried and or many other feelings or emotions! If we are struggling are we trying to deal with things in our own strength? If so, there is another way 👍
Are we prepared to give? Do we give all or nothing? Can we do more? Do we like to be seen giving? Are we in the right place to receive?
In life to we go for the cheaper deal, the bigger and cheaper option. How are we as people? Are we people of quality or quantity??
Are we ready for what is coming next? This current life scenario will not continue for ever! Has what has happened changed us and our thinking as church?
It’s good to be with people who are like of mind, encourage, enable and fellowship with each other. It’s great to see so many tuning into this years virtual Spring Harvest as it was sadly cancelled this year due to the Corona Crisis! Can I encourage you to go into social media e.g YouTube/Facebook and hook into what is happening 👍
After the resurrection of Christ what happened bro the Roman soldiers on guard at the tomb?? Are we now responsibly sharing the risen Christ with our communities?
Why do we call Good Friday when it’s about execution & death? What’s the world saying about this Easter weekend? Do we understand the true meaning of Good Friday??
We avoid Death until it’s almost an emergency situation and then call upon God....Why is this? Do we recognise The Lord can save? Are we aware of salvation after death in this life?
People keep asking when will this Corona virus end? What is our exit strategy? There will be an end and strategy for this time and the future...
We are never really ready for the unexpected are we? When the unexpected arrives to we find ourselves shocked or ready? These days are trying to say the least.... so are we ready for what is unexpected in this life?
A time to reflect on the bigger picture on how smaller business and lives are affected by the Corona virus
We currently have time on our hands and it’s good to stay busy! Are we being creative as we are designed?
When will this Corona virus end? Are you having a desert experience? A time to self understand, reflect, be re moulded, survive and map our way out back to life!
It’s easy to mis-judge what others are doing. Let’s wait patiently / you are not alone!
