Each time we move through a cycle of spiritual battles, there comes the spoils of war - increased peace, healing, enlightenment, enrichment and greater freedom.
The literal or written sense of the Word contains all power. But it can be misused and misquoted. The revelation of the Inner Sense keeps us safe from all attacks.
The Soul Warrior understands the real source of power comes through the virtue of Innocence. When we learn to surrender to the Logos we can be trusted with more and more power.
The baptism of fire empowers us to fight and defeat the hordes of hell. We begin with the first of three archetypal attacks to make ourselves the supreme authority for our lives instead of submitting to the highest power - The Logos.
When we submit our life to the Word to be washed, a new initiation can begin. Heaven will open for us and our adventure into the baptism of fire can begin.
It's a mistake to think that I have cleaned up my life so therefore I have arrived. After the washing of the water of the Word must come the baptism of fire or we will stop growing.
We must dive deep if we wish to discover the hidden treasures of spiritual regeneration. We need to move through general examination to particular examination and right down to the core or our being through specific self-examination.

The ‘newness’ has begun. First it starts with the activation of the Shepherds (revelations of Good and Charity) who are now compelled to ‘go’ to Bethlehem (the source of newness - the Lord) and learn about regeneration and Glorification.
Life is full of disappointments. Moments of success and real happiness seem few. The Lord longs to be birthed in you through the spiritual sense of the Logos. We we allow this process to occur, we can know increasing newness, peace and heavenly delights.
Who are our enemies? Every negative and selfish state such as anxiety, anger, hatred, fear etc. The first and vital work of the Logos in its literal sense is to drive back our enemies so that we can know and experience the Lord’s peace and love. It makes a way for Divine relationship by delivering us from the roadblock that stand in our way.
When we learn to follow the Lord's states of innocence(Mary) inside us, our soul will experience the new delights of Heaven. Our hearts will lift with a new song and our understanding will discover a ‘new’ name - John ‘the lover of God’.
Inside each one of us is the longing for the new. This longing is placed within us by the Divine and can only be satisfied by a direct encounter with the Lord. We are created by the Lord for a divine relationship. We are His children and He is our Father.
We all have experienced the pain of internal conflicts. How do we heal and move forward? The power of the Inner Sense of the Logos when allowed to dwell inside us through the vessel of innocence (Mary) can transform our states.
Sometimes we succeed at following the calling and longing for innocence and at other times we lose our way. The Soul Warrior learns to strengthen those pathways through which innocence can be present. And then, the Son of the Highest can be birthed in us.
So often we pray and speak to the Divine, but we miss the need to listen and wait on the Lord. When we receive a message in our soul, we should wait patiently for a promise reply. Do not plant a seed only to dig it back up. Water those seeds with gratitude and prayers of thanksgiving.
