A thrilling sensation she is. A spoken word poet, transformation and creative entrepreneur, author and dare I say a creative mastermind. I had the pleasure of witnessing her one woman show in Johannesburg a few years ago and her words carried chills around the room with punches like, ‘I know your tongue don’t twist that way but please say my name’. I have witnessed her ability to mobilise people in Pretoria at an epic open mic gathering she used to run and has now passed on the baton. She has appeared on ads by Standard Bank, Property 24 and a strong call to be you by Lil-lets to name a few. She has published a beautiful book titled ‘love handles’. What an inviting title! Her revolutionary self also started a digital book store that retails pre-loved African books, harvest books. Indeed the present is bright if we have the likes of Puno Selesho.

Some of the myths that come from purity culture opposed to the actual word of God.
The purity culture presents an unwhole truth, we start to believe God rewards us for our good works of remaining virgins. Then when we don’t find husbands or when we find one who perhaps cheats we feel cheated by God Himself because the purity culture promised us that if we behave God will reward us and that is not the full truth of the gospel….
The truth without authenticity often found in purity culture is burdensome, it expects people to follow laws. It is not the truth that is freeing, and it creates hidden sins.
