They talk about how exactly they did that through the following questions! Here are the time stamps for the starting time for every new topic discussed, so you can skip to parts you want to here the most. 0:44 - speaker’s introductions 3:35 - why did you apply to a direct med? how many did you apply to? 6:35 - does your program give you an MCAT waiver? 9:45 - what volunteering, shadowing, research, and leadership experiences did you have before applying? 16:56 - how did you tackle the “why do you want to be a doctor?” personal statement/essay? 21:49 - what are your tips to perform well at the interview, how should you prepare for it, and what are some common questions asked during them? 29:10 - why did you decide to go to your program after receiving all your acceptances? what do you like and dislike about your program? 36:43 - what’s your best tip to someone applying to a direct med program?
