Living Grace

Living Grace Ministries is a unique church with its own unique purpose. Our charge from the Holy Spirit is to teach the message of God’s grace and love as displayed throughout the Scriptures and as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Paul in his writings references this Gospel of Grace as the good news, the almost too good to be true news. In this message of the Gospel we find the fullness of reconciliation with God, free from such things as guilt, shame and condemnation often found in religion.

In this week’s teaching Greg Aldrich revisits the gift of prophecy. Prophecy is a tool to convey the heart of God to a person receiving ministry. Summary for 09-10-2023 – Our Journey to Wholeness – Thru Holistic Grace – Part 4

Our relationship with Trinity is dynamic not static. Each of us is on a journey to explore and understand the depths of the Trinity’s heart towards us, our heart towards the Trinity and our heart towards each other. This week we add to our discussion the concept of value. Each of us has been assigned an intrinsic value through the love the Trinity has for us. That value can never be destroyed, but our perception of that value can be hidden in darkness caused by bad introduction to of a virus – i.e., experiences, teachings, and other things that hide our true value. Using a computer programming analogy, we look closely at value and how we lose sight of it. Rediscovering our true value deepens our relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

This week we continue a series looking at Ephesians Chapter 4 from a renewed, grace based perspective. Beginning with the first 10 verses of this chapter, we discussed Paul’s theology as stated in those verses: one God – the Father – who is over all, above all, through all, and in all; one Lord Jesus; one Spirit; one living faith; one grace – given to each of us in full measure according to the Anointed’ s gift; and one ceremonial washing through baptism. We then discussed “our calling” as advocated by Paul. Finally, we discussed the simplicity of the Gospel – Jesus is Lord, and love your neighbor as yourself.

This week we continue a series looking at Ephesians Chapter 4 from a renewed, grace based perspective. Initially, we continue to discuss the ministry gifts of Jesus to the church. Summary for 07-23-2023 –  Ephesians Chapter 4 – A Renewed Perspective

This week we began a series looking at Ephesians Chapter 4 from a renewed, grace based perspective. Starting with verses 11-16 we looked at the ministry gifts of Jesus, not as “offices” establishing a governmental order, but instead as gifts to help each one of us to enter into the calling of Christ. Paul talks about our individual callings and that a time will come when we help each other rise up into a greater level of maturity and unity.

Summary for 05-28-2023 –  Simply Jesus – Part 4

In this week’s gathering, we continue with our in depth study of the simplicity of Jesus by working through John Chapter 1, verses 1 through 18 (John 1:1-18). Looking at those verses we see that Jesus came to address humanity’s perception problem. These verses explicitly state that Jesus is the Word of God. Every single person has contact with the Word as light and life (Jesus) are said to be in all persons. The problem is not all of us have fully perceived His greatness and vastness. So, our journey to greater understanding continues. Included in this discussion is the concept of wholeness, physically and emotionally.

Summary for 05-14-2023 –  Simply Jesus – Part 2

Our life is a journey. We long to find peace, joy, and happiness. Often times our society, family, and outside influences urge us to seek out our longings with methods and means based upon our own efforts. Most of the time these efforts only produce frustration, a sense of loneliness, and many other negative feelings and emotions. Yet there is a way to satisfy our longings for peace, joy and happiness that is not based on our efforts. That way is to simply encounter Jesus.  The Trinity has designated Jesus as the Point Man and Spokesperson of the Godhead. In this week’s gathering we discuss the fact that only Jesus is perfect theology. If you know Jesus, you know the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Summary for 04-30-2023 –  We’re Off To See The Wizard

In this week’s gathering, Mr. Mo Thomas looks at a classic and iconic movie, The Wizard of Oz, and draws comparisons from it to the journey of our lives. Each one of us is on a journey to find what we think we lack in life. As we journey, we discover that what we think we lack, as told in the movie, is already inside of us. The same is true of our walk with the Trinity. Scripture says everything we need for life and godliness is already in us. It is the journey of life that reveals this truth to us and empowers us to continue on the journey.

Summary for 03-19-2023 – Vision – Part 3

In this third of the three part series on vision, we continue to examine the power of vision in our lives. Once we consciously look at vision, we realize that we can make choices in our lives that either line up with our vision or not. When we know our vision, we can make choices to not engage in anything that does not line up with that vision, allowing us to preserve our energies or thing we are passionate about. This includes lining up with God’s vision of love for and towards us and how empowering that love is.

Summary from February 20, 2022:  Looking At Prayer Through An Aramaic Perspective – Part 2

In today’s gathering we begin looking at the Lord’s Prayer from an Aramaic perspective. In this discussion we looked at the beginning of the prayer – Our Father, who art in heaven. As the discussion progresses, we see that the term “Father” is both personal and also intertwined with the entirety of creation. This revelation has an impact on our personal perspective and beliefs. As we see the interconnectedness of creation, including humanity, with the Father, our perspective broadens thereby opening us to the greater reality of union and oneness with the Trinity, and each other.
