This blog examines the next event in God’s prophetic clock with Israel. Here we consider the long neglected “Pre-Millennial Kingdom” that the ministry of Elijah will establish. This period will also encompass the 70-weeks of Daniel’s prophecy.

Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end … (Isaiah 9:7).
There are enormous amounts of prophecy that were given to Israel in the Hebrew Scriptures that are yet to be fulfilled. Most believers simply follow some version of Christendom’s eschatology, futilely attempting to force the enormity of Israel’s prophetic scene into a few extremely abridged time periods. From this shallow vantage point, it is believed that more time has passed in God’s ages than remains.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Multiplied millennia remain, more than have yet transpired, for the fulfillment of all of the glorious plans that God has revealed in His Word. Far from being anywhere near the “end” of something prophetic, the span of God’s eonian plan is immense, and our placement is early in its timeline. Much more of God’s prophetic program remains than man’s feeble eschatologies allow.

Many mistakenly believe that after this current Dispensation of the Mystery ends, there remains but the final week of Daniel’s Seventy to be fulfilled. According to this theory, within this short span of seven years the ancient people of the Lord will have to be identified and gathered out of their graves, or brought from within the nations where they will be living at the time. Then, they must be brought into the “wilderness” and pled with. Within this short time, they have to be re-established in their Promised Land, become the leading nation among the nations of the world, have their Temple rebuilt, and settle every Jew in their appointed “lot.” There must also be time for “tares” to “grow together” with “the good seed” of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 13:25-40).
We mention here only a few of the obvious things that must transpire during this improbable “seven years.”
Just to get a perspective of the time that will be required, scripturally, for the stage to be set for the “Tribulation period” (i.e., the Seventieth Week), read Daniel 11. There, you find conflict between the “king of the south” and the “king of the north” lasting for years. Daniel 11:6 speaks concerning the wars and uses the expression, “and the end of years.” The number of years mentioned would certainly seem to exceed the years most have allotted.
If we take a clean slate and write what the Word of God clearly states in Daniel, we will find that for every dream, prophecy and vision given to Daniel, God has given His interpretation of them. Most scholars have tried to help God by re-interpreting what the Word said.
